R.I.P. Video #33: Lil' Handy

Broadcastin' from Covington Township, PA, it's FrankieThaLuckyDog here, with a special edition of my tribute videos. Today, May 19, 2014, marks a decade since tha untimely death of Christopher Handy, better known in tha rap game as Lil' Handy.

Chris Handy (born September 12, 1982) was a rapper from tha Glen Oaks area of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He signed with Grind Tyme Entertainment to record his one and only album, Rap Hustlin', in 2004. Unfortunately, on May 19, 2004, his life was cut short when he was killed in a car accident, at just 21 years-old. After he was killed, his Rap Hustlin' album was released. His song, "Cut The Lights On", would later be used as Baton Rouge producer, Mouse's beat tag, when producing tracks. Tha tag would be most-remembered in Foxx, Lil' Boosie & Webbie's 2007 remix of "Wipe Me Down", which peaked at #38 on tha Billboard Hot 100. Handy would've only been 31 if he was still alive today.

Rap Hustlin' included features from Money Mike, Box, K-Tray, Mouse, Webbie, Lil' Cali, Young Bleed & Turk, while it included production from Ke'noe, Clever Soundz & Mouse.
