gettin’ a chance ta peep this release out, despite three tracks already bein’
on my playlist… Courtesy of Solo Mafia Enterprises, we have a dope 26-year-old
artist by tha name of MM4L Jayy & his latest release, Hood
Medicine (Deluxe Edition). Tha original Hood Medicine (https://music.apple.com/us/album/hood-medicine/1617760423)
was released tha month b4 & has four less tracks on it. Now, I’m gonna
finally give my youngin an anticipatin’ review, especially wit MobbGod behind
tha boards & production! So, without further or do, here goes my review for
MM4L Jayy Hood Medicine (Deluxe Edition)! So glad we met on September 9,

I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long
as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals & then
lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song
gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating,
I pretty much really love it, as it’s
considered mindblowin’ when I hear
it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before

!!! >>> Feelin’ tha choir-like beat sound goin’ on in tha MobbGod production, here… Feelin’ tha consistent rappin’ on tha mic, here; definitely what’s up! Punchlines consistent like a ma’fucka, just like I had previously heard on other tracks…! Awesome with tha consistent rhymes, even tho it was just a one-verse track. My Rating: 4.2

Tha latest video they just dropped. Now, tyme for a review, with a full-listen review… *Rehears* Luv how it just instantly starts with MobbGod on tha hook & beat! Gotta instantly hit ‘em wit tha “Mobb Comin’ Thru”! S/O to you on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit tha “pop one, pop two” shit; definitely what’s up! Hearin’ tha 1st four bars of tha hook (tha 1st hook/intro was Bars 5 – 8) & you gotta luv MobbGod puttin’ tha Mobb on tha map, all tha way round! S/O to tha way you keep it goin’ on tha 2nd verse; can’t deny tha B.R. shit you be spittin’ fa err-body affiliated witchu! My Current Rating: 4.5

>>> Definitely feelin’ tha MobbGod beat intro, here, in a true Savage perspective! Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse & it sounds great with more consistency! Hope no1 denies what you bring to tha table; you’re definitely worth it…! Hearin’ tha hook & no, I don’t think you need a voice effect. Literally, not every artist needs an effect! Sounds like MobbGod literally turned you into a YoungBoy, smh… Hearin’ tha 2nd verse & it sounds okay; just sounds like some random topics you be rappin’ about, here. My Rating: 3.7

Such a crazy track!! Luv how tha MobbGod beat starts off instantly, with tha true Savage sound I grew up to! Tha consistent rhymes on tha 1st verse are definitely off tha hook!! Can’t deny ‘em, especially with tha flow, too! “They ain’t gon tell you ‘bout tha lick that I had came & got hot”; awesome line! Luv tha last four bars of tha 1st verse, when tha beat drops down! “Made a left on Jasper, where da beans at?!” Luv that shit! Tha way tha beat ends, as well as tha extra rappin’, too; gotta luv it! My Current Rating: 4.9

Anotha MobbGod collab on tha mic, here… Beat cool, of course, includin’ how MobbGod has a unique voice on tha hook, here… Hearin’ what you got goin’ on with tha 1st verse, here & it sounds dope wit how you tell your stories of tha streetz, here; definitely what’s up… Hearin’ MobbGod on tha 2nd verse & lol, if this was QC, they would be like, “He luvs tha N-word, doesn’t he?” Needless ta say, good shit with this collab & how tha beat ended… My Current Rating: 4.0
½tyme: Definitely a major plus

>>> More consistent rhymes & dope MobbGod beats ta rap off of, here, strictly “On Dat Mobb Shit”! Lots of rappin’, which iz good but so much continuous rappin’ decreases tha catchiness fa me, most of tha tyme… My Rating: 3.8

“Whatchu Mean”
>>> Anotha sick beat from MobbGod, here; tha sound of tha beat almost reminds me of a ‘90s trip-hop track… Hearin’ tha hook & I’ono, kinda reminds me of some old shit… Like, tha title reminds me of that Meek Mill/Boosie track from eight years ago or somethin’, only this has “do you” in “what tha fuck do you mean”; kinda ehh… Tha adlibs on tha hook remind me of Cash Out’s annoying-ass, from last decade… Hearin’ tha 1st verse & tha rhymes/lyrics are definitely pure as shit, of course; can’t deny how you comin’ through on these dark street beats! Keepin’ it movin’ with tha 2nd verse & it sounds like random rappin’, I’d say… My Rating: 3.8

>>> Sounds awesome with MobbGod’s organs & production, here, on tha intro/beat…! Hearin’ tha hook & again, it sounds like you’ve been cursed by tha YoungBoy voice effect. In my QC perspective, I’d be like, “Why?” Damn, it’s on tha 1st verse, too? What are we, sellin’ out? Good lyrics on tha 1st verse but just sounds like an annoying tease, overall. Nothin’ that I’d hate-hate; I’d rather just listen to it & accept it, basically. Hearin’ tha 2nd verse & really, do we still need tha voice effect? It only hurts my ratings… My Rating: 3.5

>>> Can’t deny tha MobbGod production, once again… A normal voice, this tyme? Wow! Hearin’ tha 1st verse & it’s str8; I’ll give this one props, too… Hearin’ tha hook & it sounds okay; nothin’ ta really say about it. Basically, just keep tha “No Competition” perspective on & up! Keepin’ this goin’ with tha 2nd verse & it str8, too; not bad, overall… Nice beat outro from MobbGod with tha strings, too! My Rating: 3.9

>>> Nooo! Tha voice effect bullshit & it sounds like a soft side of you, here! Beat ain’t bad from MobbGod but I’m not feelin’ tha soft side of you, on tha hook… Hearin’ tha verse & tha lyrics are pretty personal, for tha streetz. Not really that exciting fa me but definitely nice on keepin’ tha rhymes goin’… My Rating: 2.7

>>> A nice, slower beat from MobbGod, includin’ an intro from him, too… MobbGod, you really need a voice effect, too? Nah, I’d rather you just be you… As far as tha hook, it ain’t bad; I’ll leave it at that. Hearin’ tha verse from you & it sounds okay, Jayy. A lil’ short with these tracks but I guess tha shortness serves its purpose… My Rating: 3.0
Overall: Seemed like a promising
release; felt tha 1st ½ a lot but then, tha voice effect shit took a
toll on tha ratings, a lil’ bit. Either way, definitely nice ta have MobbGod
produce your whole release, here! Awesome ta have him on tha production & I
hope y’all continue ta own y’all thrones! I definitely feel tha consistent quality
you bring to tha table, Jayy; I wish you tha best of luck!
