new mixtape from my boyz J.A.P.A.N. (which I’m assumin’ tha “P.A.” = Port
Allen?). My dawg Jay Regal’s a part of dis group outta Port Allen, LA,
so you KNOW this gon be on dat official gangsta type shit, ya dig!! Tryna look
at tha front cover, and it’s a lil’ too blurry… Good thing tha ID’s are on
DatPiff and on tha filenames (but not on tha mp3 infos). I’ll be DEFINITELY
lookin’ forward ta this though, so here goes my review fa J.A.P.A.N. “City

01. “On Tha Radio”
Tha start to tha mixtape iz here! Let’s hear how y’all do!! >>> I heard Boosie in tha beginning, and now, it’s a bunch of shit switched ta some “popped a pill” shit; nice intro so far! Feelin’ all tha Port Allen pieces in tha beginning. Glad it sounded like tha radio was changin’ and shit like that too! My Rating: N/A
02. “Jump Stupid” Feat. Dude Blitz & Reno Da Gutta
This should be a WILD-ASS joint!! Lookin’ forward ta err-body!!! >>> Sounds nice and wild in tha hook; you KNOW I’m feelin’ it!! Tha 1st verse iz soundin’ great wit dat real hood shit goin’ on! NICE “pop ‘em 2 by 2 keep me energized” part in tha 1st verse; str8 PURE Louisiana shit right here!! Dat was (I believe) Dude Blitz on tha 1st verse, and Reno’s on tha 2nd verse, all “powered up” on dis shit to tha fullest! “Get shots like a bartender;” nice line right there from Reno! Need “a fight song,” so I’m glad y’all (especially Reno on tha 2nd verse) “made dis a fight song!” Still keepin’ dis jungle-ass music continuous on tha 3rd verse, doin’ tha damn thang!! My dawg Jay Regal doin’ a NICE job on tha 4th verse here, as he’s SOOOOOOO “retontoe!!” I luv his “I know you fulla dem pillz” part, as well as “out here sagged out;” he TOOOOOO hood wit his hood shit!! REAL GLAD I’m real cool wit him, and doin’ buku shit fa him, ya dig!! Luv tha acapella at tha end, ESPECIALLY tha “jump stupid, nigga, nigga” part (where “nigga” iz said 2x back 2 back)!! Jay Regal had tha best verse followed by Reno! My Rating: 4.7
03. “Go Home Wit Her”
Should be interesting. >>> LOL @ tha beat start; lookin’ like dis gon be good! Pretty good hook; you KNOW I go for tha 2nd ½ of tha hook, where it’s dat typical, repetitiveness of tha title type of BR hook! Tha 1st verse here soundin’ like tha sex attraction iz goin’ GREAT wit dis street beat (nice mix)!! Great flow on tha 1st verse, doin’ tha damn thang! I hear my boy Jay Regal on tha 2nd ½ of tha 1st verse; glad there’s 2 ½’s!! He REALLY inta dis gurl right here, explainin’ tha visuals REAL GOOD!! Nice long 1st verse!! Let’s see what’s next in tha song… Oh, just a long verse. It all good ‘cause it was nice, and my big dawg Regal talkin’ on tha endin’, just keepin’ it consistent wit tha topic too! My Rating: 4.4

Yea!!! My boy goin’ solo (and “down bad”) on dis shit right here; REALLY lookin’ forward!!! >>> We got da “Tuck Ya Ice” beat here; let’s see how raw he comes on dis… Hook was pretty good, but tha 1st verse REALLY on dat raw gangsta shit!! Your heart “colder than a slurpie;” feelin’ dat line, ESPECIALLY da “gold grill wit da saggin’ pants!” You REALLY are a TRUE BLESSING, big dawg!! You KNOW I hold you down wit dis shit all day, ya dig!! I hope we talk on tha phone again real soon! Tha 2nd verse DEFINITELY raw wit tha “swiss blade” and all those weapon-type lyrics!! I like how tha voice sounds in tha 2nd verse; sounds like a backin’ voice ta make your vocals RAWER!! Tha 3rd verse iz DEFINITELY startin’ off gangsta wit tha “loaded” part, as well as your “bad nerves;” nothin’ but dat HOT, HOT, HOT SHIT!!! Yea, you DEFINITELY are “sick, and you ain’t talkin’ ‘bout your stomach;” I feel ya. Luvin’ tha “I’ll bend you, and flip you” in tha hook!! Must’ve been one of tha BEST ratings I’ve eva gave on a jacked beat (if not, then it in a looooooong time)!!! My Rating: 4.8

Got da “th” reversed on tha DatPiff ID… Anyway, BATTLE OF THA SOLO JOINTZ, LOL!!! This should be ANOTHA REAL NICE ONE wit 4:12 on tha length, so let’s see how dat boy M.A. does!! >>> DJ Black Magic in tha beginning (wit tha intro), and this kinda Baton Rouge vs. Baton Rouge ta me ‘cause I heard dis on Yung Yola & D.$.G.’s “99 Wayz 2 Grind” mixtape (tha beat on “Gotta Plan”). Either way, this should be good; likin’ tha hook, and tha 1st verse iz off ta a good start! I REALLY like dat title (especially wit “strength” in it)! Glad you said “Jay got us a hit, mane;” aren’t y’all glad fa Jay Regal? Nice job on dat 1st verse, and yea, dat hook iz DEFINITELY on sum good shit! Interestin’ “I ain’t gotta pay a cent” part multiple times in tha hook! Tha 2nd verse soundin’ on dat good shit too, addin’ sum gangsta attributes ta it too!! I like how he just said, “dawg;” that’s watz good! I like tha “Baton Rouge/Baton Rouge” part around 2:30; TIGHT rhymes continuin’!! Nuttin’ but dat STREET SHIT in tha 3rd verse; it ain’t stoppin’!!! ANOTHA bound ta be REAL GR8 collab/joint!!! >>> Anotha Baton Rouge vs. Baton Rouge beat (2 in a row) ‘cause I heard this as Southpaw & Rackley “Allstars”, but also one of Lil’ Boxx’s song on his “Bring The Pain Mixtape Vol. 1” mixtape. Either way, nice hook, and Jay, you doin’ tha damn thang on tha hook and tha 1st verse! Pretty good 1st verse, and tha hook (of course) iz tha truth when it comes to dis Rap shit! Tha 2nd verse sounds like it really on its street business shit! Glad he “tryna fill his stomach up” ‘cause dat’s what you gotta do!! Reno comin’ through NICE on tha 3rd verse, str8 street shit!! Did he give a shout out ta Scoob (meanin’ Big Scoob) on tha 3rd verse? If so, then that’s DEFINITELY a plus ‘cause dat my boy right there; Jiggalators to tha fullest!! Nice, strong rhymes here, as they’re ALL listenable!! My Rating: 4.3

Let’s see what we got here… >>> Sounds like dis gon be REAL “fli” wit all tha “wings” shit in tha beginning! Interestin’ hook, as it’s flyable at ALL TIMES!! Real catchy wit tha 2nd ½ of it, where tha background dude providin’ vocals too! I like tha “ya heard” part, even wit it rhymin’ wit “bird” on tha 1st verse! Definitely inta this shit, as ANY of dis shit on dis CD ALL GREAT QUALITY!!! Nice job on da 1st verse; glad there’s 2 more verses!! Tha 2nd verse sounds betta here; I like tha voice! Spittin’ those Jungle Records type rhymes, doin’ tha damn thang!! I can tell ya that I SO FUCKIN’ LUV FUCKIN’ BATON ROUGE MUSIC SO FUCKIN’ MUCH!!!!!!!!!! Yea, my fuckin’ boy Regal on tha 3rd verse; everything about him and what he spits iz tha FUCKIN’ SHIT!!! DEFINITELY felt his verse, ESPECIALLY “tha boyz should have wings” part ta end tha verse! LOL @ tha title! Boy, I luv these titles!! This should basically continue where tha ratings left off!! >>> LOL @ tha beat choice. It’s… Jay-Z “I’m Feelin’ It”. It’ll prolly be good ‘cause we got a GR8 selection of people! Speakin’ of a GR8 selection, how can ya front wit Jay Regal on tha 1st verse? Pretty good 1st verse, although it felt like it breezed by like it was nothin’. I like how tha hook sounds… oh wait, this tha 2nd verse now. Good rappin’ in tha 2nd verse. Not much ta say, but y’all doin’ ya thang. LOL, a phone call at 2:32! Jay Regal on tha phone, as tha beat comes back. Good conversation; should’ve been louder than tha beat (meanin’ tha beat should’ve been lowered). I hear tha title in tha hook now, and it sounds cool. My Rating: 3.8

Almost to tha ½ point… let’s see how we gon put it down b4 we get there… >>> Gonna give Dog one more chance on Labor Day ta see if he wants ta do business wit me ‘cause he pretty bad when it comes ta business (how you delay me 6 months ta get me your music?). So, because I don’t know his exact voice, I’m gonna have ta limit on what I say on here ‘cause I don’t want him gettin’ all my words! Okay, if he on tha 2nd verse, then tha 1st verse was pretty good. Jay, talk sum sense inta him since you fuck wit him! He needs ta think of me on tha outside of a conversation! Jay on tha 3rd verse, doin’ a NICE job on dis shit right here!! How can anyone hate on what he sayin’? He just has that GREAT street flow, as well as not givin’ a fuck about tha next person tryna be betta than him! Nice song right here though! My Rating: 4.3
½time: GREAT CD so far, as I’m DEFINITELY feelin’ pretty much tha whole entire thang!! Y’all boyz REALLY do tha damn thang when it comes to dis street music! Regal ALWAYS keepin’ tha hoods NICE and fulla dat street shit!! Keep doin’ ya thang, and although we got 10 songs left, tha average CD rating iz currently a REAL NICE 4.4, so keep up tha gr8 work!!!

This should be good… Expectin’ it ta be on a REAL street level!! >>> Sounds like a bad beat choice here, so I can’t really get inta this so far. Catchy hook, includin’ tha title, but aight song so far. Decent rappin’ in tha 1st verse; I don’t seek much interest. I like tha “movie/credits roll” part towards tha end of tha verse though. Regal doin’ a pretty good job on tha lyrics here on tha 2nd verse; sad that there’s “no mo” of lots of thangz. A lil’ betta now that I heard Regal’s part. My Rating: 3.7

Short song (2:47); let’s see what y’all got… >>> Somebody’s beat (tryna think)… Sounds like Grand Hustle, but tha beginning so far iz decent. Not bad on tha 1st verse, still deliverin’ dat good shit. Tha hook iz pretty good; like when tha title iz said. Yea, Jay Regal on tha 2nd verse!! Soundin’ catchy wit tha “put tha money in tha bagggg” part, as well as tha “money on tha beddd” part too! Mega catchy from dat boy Regal this time! REAL NICE job from Jay Regal, makin’ me like tha song more!! My Rating: 3.9

He said it again; iz that a part of tha hook?!? TOO TIGHT!!! Jay Regal DIES for sum wings!! You’re past polo, lol? You said, “y’all still rockin’ polo.” You’re on your alligator logo shit, lol. LMAO @ “toss a bitch ta tha side like she sum old shoes;” REALLY liked dat line!!! “Port Allen where niggaz’ll pull a stack out;” err-body got money there, huh? That’s a thumbs up! Wonder what beat he uses… Has ta be somethin’ REAL anticipatin’ ta hear!!! >>> LOL, not anticipatin’ fa me (since it’s dat Ludacris & Bobby Valentino “Pimpin’ All Over The World” beat). Howeva, as much as y’all do REAL GOOD on beats like “My Drink N My 2 Step”, it should be REAL NICE, regardless!! Well, hearin’ tha hook, and it sounds good. Not close to tha Jay Regal one previously, but it sounds like there’s just lots of pluses here (wit all tha “I like ___” parts), so that’s watz good! Decent 1st verse; would’ve wanted ta hear a street song from you though. Decent 2nd verse too; I can’t say much here. Even a 3rd verse on here, still followin’ from tha 1st 2 verses. Should be good; 4:41 on tha length!!! >>> A new production, and LOL @ tha “Shoulder Lean” wit tha “1st, I let my wheels spin” sample for like tha 1,000,000th time! This sounds good, and should sound betta wit tha verses!! Here’s tha 1st verse here, comin’ through pretty strong wit tha car lyrics, lol! Pretty good rhymes right there ta let tha joint roll through. Now, my dawg Jay Regal on tha 2nd verse, doin’ tha damn thang wit tha jiggalatin’ lyrics!! I now know tha word “loratabs,” so now, I gotta see what they look like. You KNOW you do tha damn thang wit your rhymes; I feel like NO ONE can TOUCH Jay Regal in Port Allen!! YOU’LL LIVE FA’EVA!!!!! That’s tight, and dis should be a continuous joint ta end wit!!! >>> Yea, Jay Regal talkin’ in tha beginning of dis, doin’ tha damn thang here, as he launchin’ dis joint right here! Tha hook soundin’ nice wit dat beat! EXTREMELY “P.A.N.’d Up” here!!!!! Tha 1st ½ of tha 1st verse was nice; good job. Tha 2nd ½ here soundin’ aight. Good rhymes in dis part of tha verse here; tha voice iz decent. Dude Blitz here on tha 1st ½ of tha 2nd verse, doin’ a nice job wit dis street shit! I like tha endin’ wit tha “my bread, I’m tryna elevate” part. Tha 2nd ½ was aight; nice job on dis shit. Okay 1st ½ of tha 3rd verse too. Always comin’ through wit dis Port Allen shit, as tha 2nd ½ of tha 3rd verse delivered it a nice way! Jay Regal TOO raw on tha hook!!! Tha 1st ½ of tha 4th verse was cool; nice shit right there, includin’ tha P.A. lyrics! Tha 2nd ½ of tha 4th verse iz DEFINITELY nice! Likin’ tha flow, as well as tha cool-ass hood voice too! What happened at 5:23? It’s skippin’ and shit? Iz this real? Sounds shitty. I’m gonna rewind it so I can try ta review dat part… It sounds like Jay Regal would’ve been on tha 1st ½ of tha 5th verse, along wit someone else I think? It sounds like a part of a verse, then tha hook, and then tha same format. It sounded a lil’ tight too. Now, wit approximately 18 seconds left, it’s wit tha “Turn It Up” beat/sample again; what’s goin’ on wit dis ending? LOL… My Rating: 4.4
Overall: Hate ta see it end, but Regal should be back soon wit mo shit, ya dig! What’s up wit tha “315 Village St.” CD that was ‘pose ta drop 8 dayz ago? I hit up S.B.R., but no response? I wanted ta do tha review & commercial fa it REAL fast, but he just like vanished or somethin’… Anyway, DEFINITELY sum good shit right here dat should show err-body dat Port Allen iz tha shit when it comes ta sum gangsta BR shit!! Keep doin’ ya thang, and I hope all y’all like dis review, as well as tha future commercial!!
