Tha shit went REAL NICE, and now, I think we got mo where dat came from! Recently uploaded by Jimmy The DJ, here’s sum new music from A-Mar & Dyl!! It’s “Hard Times & Raw Rhymes”!! BTW, as I’m addin’ “0”’s to tha filenames (so it can recognize them in order), I see some of tha years are from 2006-2009; this must be a lil’ greatest hits thing I’m assumin’? 01. “Like This”
“This” song’s year iz labeled as 2006… Prolly sounds REAL GOOD I bet!!! >>> Good thing it’s not a jacked beat; it’s an original beat!! Just how I heard “yo swagga” in tha beginning, it reminded me of Lil’ Doonie’s song of tha same name! Tha hook sounds a lil’ like it too (even though this iz older). NICE job on tha hook, and tha 1st verse iz DEFINITELY on its shit wit tha “fulla dem pillz” shit; great shit here!! REAL NICE 1st verse from A-Mar, and tha hook just SO “jigged out!!” Dat boy Dyl on tha 2nd verse wit dat retawded-ass shit right here!! Glad they ‘bout they pill game to tha fullest!!! Great rhymes for tha 2nd verse, doin’ tha damn thang here!! Although only 2:57, it felt NICE and long ‘cause of its NICE quality wit err-thang!!! My Rating: 4.6
02. “Dumb”
LOL @ just one word in tha title. But, it even shorter this time (2:47); I KNOW it’ll still be REAL “dumb!!!” >>> Oh, we got Baton Rouge vs. Baton Rouge here! I heard “R.I.P. Nu$$ie,” so this iz definitely 2009. Back to tha BR vs. BR: It’s on tha “Dumb Way” Part 1 beat here. Dyl sounds like he doin’ a nice job on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit these nice rhymes! LOL, no hook? I heard tha hook part in tha beat, but no hook on here. Neva mind, it’s here… wit A-Mar, doin’ a nice job! I didn’t realize ‘til yesterday (when I was gettin’ my radio edits for my show) that Beat Flippa produced dis beat; REAL NICE!! I miss him. Haven’t talked ta him since Christmas 2008 (since his phone don’t work). I heard his studio equipment got stolen. Hope he shakes back ‘cause A-Mar doin’ a NICE job on tha 2nd verse wit tha Baton Rouge feel here in tha streetz! Nice job on this shit, and this time, this song felt short (unlike tha last song). Either way, I didn’t mind tha “Baton Rouge vs. Baton Rouge” on this one! My Rating: 4.2
03. “Rollin’”
Uh oh… No title. Lemme look @ tha filename… Oh, aight; I know this one (source iz DeTrane’s “Jigg City Radio Vol. 1”). LOL @ tha year error on tha file’s info as it says “2009;” it’s really ’07 if it’s from “Jigg City Radio Vol. 1”. Gonna re-review it right now ‘cause any review I did before around September 2008, I didn’t say much. Let’s see what we got ta offer this time ‘round! >>> Oh yea, rememba now wit this “Hand Clap” beat. You KNOW it sounds so much betta now that I hear all tha “bow, bow’s” and tha “for tha jiggalators” shit! Tha hook iz DEFINITELY on its shit wit tha “roll harder” pill type shit!! A-Mar REALLY “rollin’, rollin’, rollin’” on tha 1st verse here, soundin’ a lil’ like Hurricane Chris here, lol. LUVIN’ all tha pill slang lyrics here!! Glad he said tha “jaws locked” part 2x before tha verse ended!! REALLY luved tha 1st verse right there! Tha hook MEGA catchy wit tha “1 o’clock, 2 o’clock…” shit!! Let’s see what we got from Dyl on tha 2nd verse… Still comin’ through wit tha NICE pill shit! Nice job right there; you KNOW dis shit iz ROLLIN’ (ridin’ a car or rollin’ on dem pillz types of “rollin’”)!! My Current Rating: 4.6
04. “Do Somethin’” Feat. Lil’ Pado
Heard “Hood Nigga” beat in tha beginning, so this must be ’07. No info on tha iTunes file, so I checked tha filename, and it’s “Do Somethin’”. Thought it was familiar, but it didn’t come up in my iTunes, so this gon be a 1st listen. Glad there’s a feature on here ‘cause you KNOW I ALWAYS luv and anticipate those 225 dudes!!! >>> Although 225, there’s “223 me” in this, lol. Nice job from A-Mar & Dyl on tha hook; catchy shit here! Dat boy A-Mar just delivers those rhymes that are just NOT TA BE FUCKED WIT!! Nice job, and Lil’ Pado must be on tha 2nd ½ of tha 1st verse… He sounds like he younger than me (talkin’ ‘bout 15-18 years old?)! His lyrics were on tha Young Ready level wit tha “gunplay” shit, his flow was REAL NICE, and he just delivered dat shit wit a REAL NICE quality!! Makes you think this beat iz a Baton Rouge beat, lol! Dyl iz here this time on tha 2nd verse… He lastin’ long on this, spittin’ his hood rhymes here. Hated ’07, but this iz tha type of shit that WOULD’VE made ’07 REAL TIGHT for me if I would’ve known undaground Louisiana music back then! I get SOOOOOOOOOOOOO jealous for fuckin’ wit those lames at my 1st college vs. tha REAL people in Louisiana!! Either way, Lil’ Pado held tha WHOLE song down, and it’s a DEFINITE plus here!!! My Rating: 4.5

Gotta talk about it havin’ tha letter “A” in tha beginning: This tha 1st A-Mar & Dyl song I saw have an “A” in tha beginning, so that’s a plus for “A”…-Mar, lol! No year listed, so we’ll see how it iz on a 1st listen… >>> Hear a deep voice in tha sample here, so it’s DEFINITELY gonna be a REAL NICE joint!! REALLY feelin’ tha “even on birthdayz, it’s cursed dayz” shit in tha hook; REAL NICE hook!! See, now THIS iz tha lyrical shit that sounds REAL NICE!! It’s for tha streetz wit a REAL NICE beat and catchy lyrics!! A-Mar REALLY doin’ tha damn thang here!! I like tha visual of “my mama fell in luv, my daddy had a nut” ‘cause it defines tha birth of you, ya dig! Glad you were born and DOIN’ THA DAMN THANG!! You’ll ALWAYS be alive!!! GREAT/interestin’ 1st verse from you there!! Sounds like a NICE song fa my radio show! Then again, I have like x amount of songs from y’all, so there’s NO WAY y’all miss a bunch of shows! Here comes Dyl again on tha 2nd verse here, keepin’ himself up-ta-date! REAL NICE shit here!! HOPE it’s ’09!! Then, I can maybe add it to my playlist! My Rating: 4.7

LOL, like Supa of Down Bad? Regardless, tha length iz MUCH longer now (4:29), and it gon DEFINITELY be “macked out” ‘cause it’s 225!!! >>> LOL, a Mod Productions beat, but on tha Baton Rouge vs. Baton Rouge tip here ‘cause I know this originally as V.I.P. Da Outlaw “Out My Mind”, which he did wit D-So, and then later added ChaYsuh. Tha hook nearly sounded tha same, but I like tha otha one betta. Gotta have A-Mar on tha 1st verse, doin’ such a REAL NICE job here!! He even “’supa’ macked out,” lol (supa like Supa)! REAL NICE job wit tha purp part also before dat, deliverin’ a NICE 1st verse!! I even put in tha V.I.P. Da Outlaw review I did for “Da Windows Cloudy Vol. 1” if he knew y’all (‘cause he white). LOL, surprise on tha 2nd verse; it’s Young Ready!! No source on tha iTunes info, but he in tha filename (I should’ve checked)! Comin’ through STRONG and RAW at all times, you know!! Only 2 dayz ago marked a year since I got Young Ready’s jail letter in tha mail, which influenced my Baton Rouge connection ta expand “to tha max” (like y’all, lol)! REAL NICE job, and you KNOW tha songs ALWAYS end wit a Dyl verse, lol. Soundin’ like it really on its club shit here on this verse; great shit!! A double title? I think tha filename one iz right (“What U Came For”) vs. tha mp3 info title (“Retarded Dumb”). I’m DEFINITELY lookin’ forward to these next 4 minutes, 8 seconds… *A-Mar voice* “belie’ dat!!!” >>> I’m hearin’ tha info title first, and now, it’s tha hook; they’re both back 2 back, so I’m gonna combine them. DEFINITELY a NICE beat here (who did it? No typical tag played) and GREAT hook!! Dat boy A-Mar just TOOOOOOOO GOOD on tha 1st verse, REALLY on dat shit right here!! SOOOOOOOOOOO Baton Rouge on tha 1st verse, ESPECIALLY tha endin’ wit tha “bow, bow!” You KNOW Dyl HAS ta end tha song off ‘cause A-Mar on tha 2nd verse here, lol! He keepin’ dem jiggaz a secret/hidden, so that’s DEFINITELY watz good ‘cause they can’t vanish! Still luvin’ tha Baton Rouge style in dis, as it continues ta shine! Yup, yup, yup…! It says ’07 for this one… Assumin’ it’s a jacked beat ‘cause of tha featured person; still lookin’ REAL forward!! >>> DEFINITELY a wrong guess at tha beat!! It’s ’07 style, so it ‘bout ta get CRAZY!! REAL, REAL CRAZY beat intro here that iz STILL goin’ ‘til :25!! DEFINITELY sounds like a #1 here wit tha way tha hook and CRAZINESS sounds!!!!! Who can’t like dis? It’s REAL NICE & LOUD on my boombox!!! REALLY on its gangsta shit dis time!! LOL @ tha “on tha ground like, ‘what tha fuck?!’” part, lol! TOO RAW for tha 1st verse!!! Tha 2nd verse iz here, and it’s STILL keepin’ it CRAZY!!! I seek a **PERFECT RATING** for dis one!! Oh, shit… I thought it was 4:08, but it’s 3:08. It’s A-Marless, but it STILL pulled off a 5.0!!! Gonna check tha title (since it’s not labeled on tha mp3 info)… Tha 3rd “thug” title for A-Mar, so this should be ANOTHA GR8 one!! >>> Sounds younger than ’09, but DEFINITELY on point here!! Back to tha Boosie voice, and back ta havin’ A-Mar on tha songs, lol! REAL NICE/catchy hook right here in tha perspective of a “thug.” ARE ANY OF THESE SONGS JUST DECENT? HELL-FUCKIN’-NO!!! They’re TOOOOOO GR8!!! Spittin’ dat RAW gangsta shit on tha 1st verse; too real, too tight!!! Iz A-Mar sayin’ “drug lane” in tha hook? If so, that’s DEFINITELY tight ta put in tha song (ESPECIALLY tha hook)!!! Yup, yup… Dyl again… on tha last verse, lol! VERY MUCH on its jiggalatin’ shit, so it’s DEFINITELY a plus here in tha streetz of BR!! REALLY inta actin’ tha “thug” here for Dyl (regardless of his P.O., laws, etc.), so that’s a plus for survival!! My Rating: 4.6

Heard a BRAND NEW soundin’ in tha beat intro for a second!! Lemme see what tha ID iz… You KNOW tha unknown gets me REAL HYPED UP!!! >>> Iz it Camp on tha beat? Not 100% on how he sounds, but I know y’all fuck wit him a lot, so he must REALLY be doin’ tha damn thang on tha beats!! A REAL NICE intro wit tha beat wit a slower type of ridin’ beat, and Dyl iz in tha beginning this time, lol! REALLY feelin’ tha drugged up rhymes in tha beginning; nice job, Dyl!! Dat must be Mr. Rich on tha next part in tha 1st verse… Soundin’ pretty good, addin’ sum gangsta lyrics to this shit, so that’s a plus! I luv ERR-BODY from tha 225!!! Gotta luv tha voices/slang/styles!!! Neva mind, Mr. Rich had tha WHOLE 1st verse; tha Dyl part in tha beginning was just tha hook. ½time: Only ½ way through dis bitch, and although it a mix of ’07-’09, it’s REAL, REAL TIGHT!!! It’s a comeback for me, and a DEFINITE plus on tha review tip!! It deserves a NICE commercial!! I should add one of my “special themes” to it! Plus, because it’s between 9.20.2009 – 9.26.2009 right now, me doin’ this review gon go in my “media diary” for Media Programming class (where I’m keepin’ track of every “media” thing I do for a whole entire week)! That was REAL recent, lol!” That’s ‘cause it was on Jimmy The DJ’s latest mixtape, “Gangsta Gumbo Vol. 3: Point Of No Return”! Now, I get ta hear tha FULL thang, so let’s see tha whole review!! >>> That’s a NICE hook, as well as that GREAT beat too!! A-Mar lost his Boosie voice? He got a year older now. Still soundin’ REAL NICE (as always), includin’ those GREAT hood lyrics! He did a REAL NICE job on his part, and let’s see how Dyl gon spit it… Always comin’ through wit dat consistent “partner” shit (as he rolls GREAT wit A)! To Add: On tha “GG3” review, I said “’D Jackson, bring tha action on tha track’ dude produced tha next song on tha CD?” That was an error; he produced this song, and it’s GR8!! Hearin’ Lil’ Pado this time on tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse, and you KNOW tha consistency continues!!! Sounded like his “wheels NEVA fell off!!” Tha 3rd verse doin’ tha damn thang, “showin’ its ass off,” on this shit! Because of tha extention, I like it a lil’ betta. Was ‘bout ta say, “anotha new ’09 song,” but NO! Back ta ’07 on this one, lol! And here comes this song ONCE again! Each time it came up in a review, its rating increased. And ta prove dat: Tha “bars” in tha title has ta do wit jiggalatin’; I got my knowledge game up! Tha 1st verse iz ALSO NICE from Dyl, doin’ tha damn thang!! REAL NICE catchy hook, and yea, glad I got exposed ta tha knowledge of tha “xanabars” and all dat good BR shit! Here dat boy City Boy on tha 2nd verse… He gettin’ ready fa sex, mixin’ in sum of dat jiggalatin’, more of dat club shit, and bam, you got a REAL NICE verse from City Boy!! Just what I wrote looks MUCH betta from my writin’ style back in Early 2008! Oh wait, afta ALMOST 2 years, lol, it’s NO LONGER A-Marless!! GR8 title (as it’s also a part of tha name of my Louisiana TV show comin’ in tha far future), but SHITTY length of 1:30?!? Somebody’s –less on this song; who will it be, lol? >>> It might just be Dylless this time, lol! I couldn’t hear who was on tha track (‘cause A-Mar was talkin’ ova what he said was on tha track), but I assume it’s Camp? I like how he said “dawg” a few times in tha beginning here (heard him say dat for tha 1st time), and although it’s short, A LOT gon be written here ‘cause there’s SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much bein’ said wit dis FAST rappin’!!! Tha flow iz DEFINITELY great, tha lyrics are DEFINITELY great (wit mixin’ SOOOOOOOOO much gangsta, hood, smokin’, pill poppin’, street shit in it), and tha song itself iz just TOOOOOOO NICE!!! Yup, for tha 1st time, Dylless, lol! I was gonna guess that at first, but because we’ve been A-Marless multiple times on here, I thought it was gonna happen again. My Rating: 4.7

Ooh, looks like a REAL GOOD one iz comin’ since dat boy Mookie on dis!!! Gotta hear how y’all gon collab!!! I know dis gon be on sum REAL TIGHT jiggalatin’ vs. gangsta-fight-song shit, ya dig!! Congrats ta Mookie fa gettin’ a spin on my show last night wit his “Kickin’ In” song wit Down Bad!! >>> Mookie already said somethin’ in tha beginning. Tha beat sounds more on a quiet club style (since there izn’t much goin’ on in it unlike “At Da Same Time”). Catchy hook, and Mookie doin’ a nice job on tha 1st verse. When I hear him rap, I feel like tha raps are UNSTOPPABLE!! He raps about everything, and gets NO disrespect ANYWHERE!! LOL @ tha “put tha puzzle together like lego” part; that was nice! Tha unstoppable Mookie Blakk did a NICE job on tha 1st verse!! *Gasps* Dyl on tha NON-last verse (2nd verse), lol! I like how he included tha word “buku” in dis ‘cause you KNOW you gotta have tha BR slang in here! More gr8 rappin’ here that DOESN’T need a minus at all!! Great job on his verse, and now, tha remainin’ verse from Cas! He nearly sounds like Dyl, so I’m assumin’ he white too. Comin’ back on this CD wit tha “rollin’, rollin’, rollin’” shit! Hearin’ tha hook for tha last time, and Mookie’s “must have a boomerang…ass comes back” part in tha hook iz DEFINITELY REAL NICE!!! Sounded like this shit turned out pretty good! My Rating: 4.3
15. “When U Met Me” Feat. C Nelson & Lil’ Sav
Yes!!! More newbies!!! This should be REAL NICE!! We have our Supa Sav, and now, a Lil’ Sav, lol! >>> A much slower beat here, but hopefully, tha content can really impress me. Sounds too much like 90’s R&B or some shit… I like how it’s explicit wit tha sexual content in tha hook though. A-Mar iz startin’ off dis 1st verse, and it’s off to a nice start! Glad he had a Max Minelli quote (even soundin’ a lil’ like Max on tha flow when he referred ta Max)! Nice job on tha 1st verse right there! I thought that was tha Sav dude on tha 2nd verse, but I forgot about Dyl, lol, NOT gettin’ tha last verse, lol! Pretty good job on tha 2nd verse, so good job. Will it be Lil’ Sav on tha 3rd verse? It iz, soundin’ like a “lil’” Hurricane Chris, lol, slowed down. Aight 3rd verse, but not enough for a 4.0ish rating from me. It iz a good song ta slow thingz down though. My Rating: 3.7

Will it be “Bounce” influenced, lol? I can’t imagine what we gon have here… >>> Sounds like it gon be a club banga based off of tha “yea, yea” shit from A-Mar. Ooh, tha beat iz kickin’ in around :13! Oh, tha hook iz here already, and it’s soundin’ pretty good; club banga! Wow, okay, VERY “jigged out” (as it’s one of y’all songs) A-Mar on tha 1st verse here, REALLY doin’ tha damn thang; STRICTLY retawded!!! Who can deny A-Mar? He just COULDN’T STOP what he was doin’ on dat 1st verse right there!! Anotha verse from A-Mar here on tha 2nd verse! Still doin’ tha damn thang, addin’ sum fresh attributes onto this verse! Only “17” wit this song? I’m guessin’ it was 2007. I think you’re 19, right? Maybe not… You just said “did a track wit Max Minelli,” so this iz at least 2008 and newer (prolly 2009) ‘cause “To The Max” had Max on it. Dyl returns to his “last verse” status on this song, lol! Referred ta T-Lo bein’ gangsta (“comin’ thru wit dat tooley”), so you KNOW it’s all luv wit tha 225 peeps! Keepin’ it gutta on tha 3rd verse, so DEFINITELY a plus fa Dyl and tha lyrics he just spit!! You KNOW I’ll DEFINITELY like dis one based off tha ID!!! >>> Gotta luv tha Baton Rouge beat intros! Kinda short beat intro, but you KNOW tha rappin’ in tha 1st verse HAD ta come through nice! Great job on tha 1st verse, but tha hook (and tha beat in tha hook) DEFINITELY has it goin’ on!!! Here we go wit tha 2nd verse, havin’ more of a betta flow style this time!! Gr8 job on dat 2nd verse right there!! Nice job on this 3rd verse here too! Anotha “supa macked out” line, lol! Keepin’ it fresh on this joint ‘cause it (and y’all) are “fresh out da bag!” No room for A-Mar this time, lol. My Rating: 4.4

What’s this long song (5:18)? Wonder why it’s so long… >>> I figured it had ta have a slow intro/beat. Actually, it’s MUCH betta than tha “When U Met Me” song!! Keepin’ it gutta in tha hook wit tha alternation of lines (A-Mar, Dyl, A-Mar, Dyl)!! Also, tha 1st verse iz here, and it’s in conversation form!! You KNOW a song iz REAL HOT when it’s based off a conversation style!!! REAL GREAT lyrics and style on this beat that fits it!! It fits it NICE ‘cause tha lyrics are REAL ear-catchin’, so you don’t really care how tha beat sounds at times! I like tha “work in my sock” part from A-Mar; you KNOW treasure iz ALWAYS hidden!! REAL NICE 1st verse, spittin’ dat HOOD shit!!! Tha hook iz just TOOOOOOOOOO tight!!! It’s NICE & LONG TOO!!! REAL NICE start to tha 2nd verse wit tha “this dat shit you get high to; roll dat purp to!” Tha conversation style went sour on tha 2nd verse as it’s ALL Dyl’s, lol! Should’ve kept tha conversation style ‘cause tha 2nd verse only hittin’ tha decent level here. It was decent ‘til tha end wit tha “spittin’ what I’m livin’ and I’m livin’ what I’m spittin’” shit; THAT was nice wit tha fastness!!! You KNOW tha 3rd verse REALLY caught my ear from A-Mar sayin’, “say, dawg!” He soundin’ REAL CATCHY wit his voice and his street life lyrics here! Yea, tha song was SO long ta where it ended wit A-Mar’s verse, and no hook, lol. Although it doesn’t have “remix” in tha ID, afta a lil’ while, I realized that this fits pretty much as a regular version. Tha original version didn’t have VL Mike, but because he was added onto it (wit nothin’ else changed), I feel that it fits wit just an addition. And this song fit inside only 2008 ‘cause it was when Nu$$ie was alive! Still feelin’ tha regular/good beat, includin’ dat GR8 hook!! Dyl did his thang on tha 1st verse, keepin’ those rhymes up! This goes back to tha dayz where I was able ta play artists like dis without worryin’ about anything! Now, I have ta check MySpace comments and shit on certain artists (mainly undaground ones) ta see if they real or not (if they don’t approve ‘em, they hurt reputation and shit like dat fa me). Max had a REAL NICE/anticipatin’ 2nd verse right there!! Always luv his “you know how I do it…*breaks a seal open*…fresh out tha plastic seal!!” part; too tight!! A-Mar’s lil’ 3rd verse REALLY makes it have dat BR feel, holdin’ his city down!! And tha late VL Mike did his thang on tha 4th verse, ESPECIALLY tha Jimmy The DJ shout out!!
