Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0
– 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!
I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long
as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and
then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song
gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6
rating, I pretty much really love it,
as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I
hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type
before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything
after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening
to it. If you use tha word “swag” frequently, have auto-tune in your vocals, or
talk about nothin’ but money and hoes 100,000x (which I consider ‘typical’
topics), I’m not buyin’ it!

01.
“Intro”
Time
ta get ta this CD, finally!! >>> Didn’t think there was rappin’ on
here; good job wit tha freestylin’ on this nice, Baton Rouge-soundin’ beat! My Rating: 4.2
02.
“N The Club” Feat. Lil’ D
>>>
Lovin’ tha sound of tha beat in tha beginning!! Sounds like a cat crying,
lmfao!!! Tha hook sounds cool; not much like a kitten, but it’s got a good
“club” vibe! Tha 1st verse sounds good, except all tha money
references; can’t take anyone who “throws” money. No wonder why no one’ll get
out there ‘cause they don’t spend it on me! Anyway, Lil’ D’s doin’ a nice job
on tha 2nd verse wit his rappin’; good shit! What’s up wit tha
remaining seconds? Iz that tha beat start to tha next song? Why wasn’t it put
on tha 3rd song’s mp3 file? My
Rating: 4.3
03.
“I B Hustling” Feat. Classik Musik
“Musik”
in tha artist’s name? >>> Sounds like a cool song, in a way; this
Classik Musik dude has an interestin’ voice fa tha south, even though some of
these lyrics are a lil’ annoying. You’re on tha 2nd verse, Dumaine,
and I’m likin’ tha hood shit you’re spittin’; definitely a nice way ta come through fa tha streetz, here!! My Rating: 4.3
04.
“Break ‘Em Off” Feat. Dutch Shoats & Jo-Nate
Not
likin’ tha incorrect spellin’ of “break,” so I hope this iz about cars and brakes!
>>> Really feelin’ tha southern beat, here; likin’ tha 1st
verse wit (I assume) Dutch Shoats bringin’ some tight shit to tha table! Tha 2nd
verse sounds pretty good; wow, these jointz are goin’ so fast, which iz good! My Rating: 4.1
05.
“Like My Swag”
Yucky
title! >>> Tha hook sounds good, but I’m not into tha cocky lyrics…
Tha verses sound good, here; I’m not too annoyed wit this, as this sounds like
a catchy anthem. My Rating: 4.2
06.
“Just Listen”
Okay.
>>> Sounds decent; glad some of these jointz are nice and short, 200
seconds or less! Rhymes ain’t too bad; likin’ tha real representations you’re
describin’ on this nice beat. Ehh, if this iz like a freestyle, then it’s
gettin’ a lil’ boring…; should’ve had a hook, but good job wit tha lyrics. My Rating: 3.8
07.
“I Keep Grinding” Feat. Twonn
>>>
Sounds like one of those online beats wit tha hook and beat; lol, $0.01 beats?
Whether it’s real or not, tha hook sounds pretty good and catchy… Tha 1st
verse sounds good wit how you’re comin’ through wit this “grinding”-type shit.
Sounds like you on tha 2nd verse, and it sounds like you’re nice and
motivated! A beat like this reminds me of tha hoods of Florida (e.g., Brisco); sounds good on your
end! You “can fuck any woman;”
really? Can only imagine what that perspective of any iz like… My Rating: 4.2
08.
“How I Feel”
>>>
Gross sample in tha beginning; why do people keep usin’ dumb-ass, high-pitched
samples in their songs, especially Baton Rouge songs? Not Louisiana at all!! Ugh, it’s all over tha verses,
too? Whateva, it sounds a lil’ catchy wit how you’re spittin’ rhymes wit it!
Then again, what happened to tha short lengths? Why does this one have to be
about four minutes long? Tha boring level iz very high, here, as this song barely changes up; when iz tha next
song comin’ on?? My Rating: 3.6
09.
“Get It Outta U” Feat. Adlib
Adlib!!
>>> Hot southern beat for a start… Tha hook from Adlib sounds pretty
nice; nice and southern, at its finest! Here you are on tha 1st
verse, and it’s seductive in a non-boring
way!! Tha 2nd verse sounds good, too, and tha length doesn’t
disappoint, too! Adlib and his “wet” hook, lol! Also, nice cold endings on most
of these jointz! My Rating: 4.0
10.
“On My Grind”
>>>
Beat sounds nice; hope it’s worth it for 3:56… Tha 1st verse sounds
good wit how you comin’ through fa tha streetz, here; it’s like we’re inside
and exiting your room! Tha 2nd verse sounds good, too; keepin’ up
where tha 1st verse ended off in a nice way! Tha 3rd verse sounds good, too; good job wit
keepin’ this goin’. My Rating: 4.0
11.
“B Alright” Feat. Rocky
>>>
An original production from X-Fyle, here. Beat’s definitely entertainin’, and
tha 1st verse sounds good wit movin’ on, no matter what’s in tha
way! Tha 2nd verse sounds good, too, and I’ll give credit to that
singer for holdin’ down tha hook! Good job wit X-Fyle providin’ a beat and
great vibe for you! My Rating: 4.2
12.
“Acting Bad” Feat. Savage Sosa & Foxx
>>>
Nice start; I’m anticipated!! Tha hook sounds nice wit this “acting bad”
energetic hook!! Good job wit tha 1st verse, as they definitely held it down for you,
Dumaine! Savage Sosa’s got some nice shit ta offer, and I’m glad he appears
when you appear, ya feel me? Tha 2nd verse iz you, and ahh, some
“make it rain” rhymes… Tha verse was a lil’ cocky, but lemme hear Foxx on tha 3rd
verse… Good, consistent rhymes; I’m used to his attitude, but spittin’ rhymes
iz good enough for me. My Rating: 4.3
½time: A 4.1-rated CD, so far; you already
know what it iz wit tha consistency! Keep up tha great work, Dumaine! You definitely
know how ta hold Baton Rouge
down!!
13.
“Try & Understand” Feat. Young Bleed
Looks
like a tight collaboration! >>> Why was tha beginning attached to tha
end of tha previous song? Not really into tha girl sample in tha beginning, but
tha beat sounds nice and southern, here! Not bad wit what you’re bringin’ to
tha table on tha 1st verse, Maine…
What tha hell was up wit how Young Bleed emerged on tha 2nd verse?
Sounds like an inserted verse in a lower quality? Good rhymes, but sounds
lolish; I like tha “choo choo” line, lol! My
Rating: 4.1
14.
“Liquor Talkin’ (Remix)” Feat. Foxx, Pounds, Savage & Kevin Gates
Hella-old
song? I guess it’s just a remix ‘cause only Foxx was on it, and I don’t
remember Pounds doin’ rappin’ in ’05… I’ll just consider this a remix by
puttin’ “remix” in tha ID, and changin’ tha “g” to “ ‘ ”, since that’s what tha
original version had. >>> Still sounds like tha oldness from when I
played it on my radio show… LOL, Pounds, remember him, when my cousin was alive
and shit? Sounds great wit tha voice and what he bringin’ to tha table! I dunno
why he disappeared so fast, especially when it was lookin’ good wit tha
services we were beginning to do! Ooh, Savage came outta nowhere on tha 2nd
part, and he sounds good, gangsta style! Savage!! Savage!! Savage!!! Savage!!!
You’re next, and you still deliver that good, hood shit on this track! Where’s
tha hook? Good shit from Kevin Gates wit his verse, comin’ through wit that
consistency! Now, tha hook comes up
toward tha end? Took too long! My
Rating: 4.7
15.
“I Get Money”
Hate
titles like this! >>> Tha 1st verse sounds good; nice shit
goin’ on, here, wit this southern beat! Tha hook sounds nice and catchy, but I
think I can picture someone’s testicles in your mouth… (Kevin Gates)? Prolly
rather you’ve had him featured on this instead of mimicking him for tha hook.
Tha 2nd verse sounds good, too; ahh, I feel this a lot… Too bad you
didn’t separate tha beginning of tha next song on tha mp3 files correctly. My Rating: 4.5
16.
“Feelz Good” Feat. T-Dogg
I
always thought T-Dogg and you were almost tha same people… >>> Nice
southern vibe goin’ on, here; feelin’ what you got goin’ on wit tha 1st
verse! Oh, I hear a new voice on tha hook, and I assume that’s T-Dogg; nice colorful hook from tha outside wit this
“candy paint!” Tha 2nd verse sounds pretty good, too; you know how to make people feel “good” wit your
tracks…vibes…rhymes…street cred…and tha list goes on! A 3rd verse
here? More feel-“good”-type shit
goin’ on, here… Not bad for tha longest song on here, but smh @ not separatin’
tha beginning of tha next track correctly! My
Rating: 4.1
17.
“Work Out”
>>>
Sounds tight wit tha beat; tha hook almost sounds like a song I’ve heard before
from someone else, wit how you “work out” ta this… Hearin’ tha 1st
verse, and lol @ tha “Cherokee” reference; good shit! Tha flow’s remindin’ me
of Hatch Boy wit dat “Boyz In Da Hood” song. Tha 2nd verse sounds
good, too; “ass”tacular, right? My
Rating: 4.3
18.
“My Nigga” Feat. JG
WTF
@ Tupac in tha feature? I think I’m not lookin’ forward to this now!
>>> No, no, no @ Tupac on
tha 1st verse! Aren’t I listenin’ to a Louisiana CD from tha
underground? SMH… Tha hook sounds good for tha dedication, in a nice, down
south way! Still, I gotta take points off for tha false feature! Sounds like a
feature on tha 2nd verse? Tha JG dude? If so, nice job wit tha
rhymes on this track! You on tha 3rd verse, and yea, gotta stay
prepared and strapped! My Rating: 3.1
19.
“They Jocking” Feat. Dutch Shoats
Young
Buck? WTF?! >>> Beat’s pretty nice, here, and tha 1st
verse’s good wit succeedin’ in tha south! Tha hook’s pretty nice; y’all keepin’
tha energy up!! It iz Young Buck on
tha 2nd verse? I don’t get this… I was listenin’ to tha intro, and I
had thought he said your name, but I think you said your name… Still, I’m not
gonna consider it a real feature until I hear from you! It’s not tha best for
my rating, though… Anyway, here’s tha 3rd verse from Dutch Shoats,
and it sounds okay… My Rating: 3.7
20.
“Get 2 Know U” Feat. Adlib
>>>
An X-Fyle beat; bring it on! Good hook from Adlib, here; almost sounds like
he’s ready for a buffet instantly!!
Tha 1st verse sounds decent; not bad wit these soothing-soundin’
rhymes… Tha 2nd verse ain’t too bad, either, but I think this iz
startin’ to sound a lil’ boring, compared to some of tha other laidback jointz
I’ve heard on here… My Rating: 3.5
21.
“On That Liquor” Feat. J Buc, Jo-Nate & Angel Danga
Iz
this Part 3 or 4 of this title? How does tha uploader not know how to spell
“Liquor” (really, “Liquar”? How old are you?)? Do they know how to spell tha
“N” word, lol? >>> J Buc’s voice!! J Buc’s voice!!! He “lol”s in a
funny way, and he sounds like he’s havin’ some fun, here, on this hook! LOL @
lovin’ “liquor!” Almost thought it was Foxx on tha 1st verse, but
whoeva it exactly iz, it sounds catchy wit this beat (J Buc beat? Then again,
I’m sure I would’ve heard that tag…)! Anotha rapper comin’ through without tha
hook repeatin’, and it sounds good from this dude (Jo-Nate? Then, Dumaine was 1st?)…
We got a female on tha 3rd part (must be Angel Danga); feelin’ tha
attitude! Good rhymes goin’ on, non-stop! Where’s tha J Buc hook?! Hope it
comes up again!! Yes, fuckin’ love J Buc
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much when he comes
through on tha track!! “Stuck Up”—I “don’t wanna hear
shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!!!!!!!!!!!!” My Rating: 4.6
22.
“Never Know” Feat. B.T.
Good
collaboration, once again!! >>> Sounds like a good start wit this
interestin’ beat; I think this’ll be good… I dunno why, but I still don’t
exactly remember what B.T.’s voice sounds like… I assume he’s on tha 1st
verse, and if so, this sounds like some good shit fa tha streetz! Tha hook
sounds like a gamble; don’t get why people have to have drama wit all kinds of
people! You on tha 2nd verse? I think I’m confused; I thought B.T.’s
voice was darker, but this also sounds good wit tha real-life lyrics… My Rating: 4.3
23.
“Da Block” Feat. Kevin Gates
Hope
it’s definitely on a street tip!!
>>> Why tha fuckin’ sample?!? Doesn’t deserve to be in tha feature on
tha ID!! That’s just dickriding!! Anyway, I really like tha content and tha 1st
verse sounds pretty nice! Still, no verse from Gates? You had him on tha other
song… Tha 2nd verse sounds good wit you, though; gotta describe all
your street shit! Damn, a 3rd verse, too, and still no Gates? LOL, I already rated this without lookin’ at what
was left! Anyway, tha 3rd verse has some really good rhymes;
definitely a nice job from you wit
what you’re offerin’ to tha streetz!! My
Rating: 4.4
24.
“Egg Shells” Feat. Young Gage
Endin’
wit an interestin’ title and a feature; lookin’ forward ta hearin’ this!!
>>> Ehh, beat sounds like a rotton
“egg shell”… Well, tha hook ain’t too bad wit how it sounds wit tha beat and
lyrics; a lil’ catchy… Tha 1st verse sounds like there’s nothin’ but
motivation comin’ out your end; good thinkin’! This you on tha 2nd
verse, too? My bad, tha features sometimes throw me off, but you keepin’ this
goin’… My Rating: 3.7
Overall: Very nice CD wit lots ta
offer!! You always bring many features, original production, and a great perspective on Baton Rouge when it comes ta this 225
undaground movement! Keep up tha great
work and always drop these
albums—yes, albums!! Not mixtapes!!!
