Broadcasting from Long Island, NY, it's FrankieThaLuckyDog, reporting another tragic loss in tha Louisiana Rap community. Legendary rapper Tim Smooth, born Timothy Smoot, fatally suffered throat cancer earlier this morning, at 12 AM. Back in 2009, Smoot began going through treatment for tha cancer he discovered throughout his mouth and tongue. He released his debut EP, I Gotsta Have It, back in 1991, as well as his major label debut, Straight Up Drivin' 'Em, wit Too Cool, on Rap-A-Lot/Priority Records, in 1994, Da Franchise Player in 1998, Let It Be Written in 1999, and The Invisable Man in 2004; he was only 39 years-old.
