Ya boy FrankieThaLuckyDog here, and I only got ONE MO recent/new CD review ta do, and then, I can go back ta my Louisiana Reviewz Marathon!! Been waitin' fa tha return 'cause I feel that although my marathon iz 660 CD reviewz, havin' only 8-10 new/recent CD reviewz ta do iz like an extra project. Speaking of tha marathon bein' dedicated ta all Louisiana music from tha past and present, here's a legend: C-Loc! Here goes my review fa C-Loc "Scrape The Plate"; brand new!! And fa good luck, I gon start tha review at 6:21 PM, my birthday time! Start Time: 6:21 PM | End Time: 7:52 PM
Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you sound like anything too mainstream for me or have auto-tune in your vocals, I’m not buyin’ it!

01. "Gobble Gobble" Feat. Boo
Damn, Loc ain't waitin' ta eat at all; you REAL hungry!! Luv that title, so you KNOW this gon be a GREAT intro song fa only 2:18 on tha length!!! >>> I like tha "you gon eat yo co'n bread?" lil' part in tha beginning! Yea, "X-Fyle on tha track!" Here comes tha "big dawg" C-Loc on tha 1st verse here, just doin' his thang!! Yea, "writin' shit that's infectuous like a disease;" REAL SHIT!! Nice short 1st verse right there, and I'm really likin' this "I'm eatin', you sleepin'" part in tha hook!! REAL NICE!!! Boo iz on tha 2nd verse here, and he showin' off his freshness on this verse right chea. Nice job, but you (Loc) holdin' this shit down, fa real!! I like tha eatin' at tha end; "mmm, mmm, mmm" (as you just said, lol)! My Rating: 4.6
02. "Boss" Feat. Lil' Boosie
Speakin' of Boosie, Young Ready's representative/Camp Life representative gave me Flex (a Lil' Boosie manager)'s numba! I called it, but no luck. I may text him 'cause Young Ready's representative wants me ta tell him about what I do (reviewz, commercials, etc.). Well, this should be a great joint, so I'm glad I'm lookin' forward!! Glad ta be doin' this review!!! >>> I don't know tha name of who did tha beat ("[?] [?] on tha beat"), but they done some GREAT productions in tha past (especially fa Real Profit Ent.), and they produced tha "Ride It Like A Motorbike" song you was on recently. Tha hook sounds pretty good, and you're on tha 1st verse here... You soundin' real motivational wit this verse right chea; "gettin' mo checks!" Yea, "it take endz ta make endz;" real shit! Nice job on that verse right there from you; really liked it! Boosie on tha 2nd verse, bein' a "B-O-S-S-S" (an extra "S," lol)! Pretty nice job from him, as he kept it motivational wit his verse, lettin' y'all know his history and how he iz now. Let's see tha 3rd verse here... Yea, it's you on this shit! Lookin' forward ta Young Ready's representative ta send me tha hard copy of this CD in tha mail! Nice 3rd verse here as you just stayin' motivational, and ignorin' anything that gon stop you! That's tha way ta do it! Ooh, nice cold ending as tha hook ended wit tha beat! My Rating: 4.4
03. "Click House" (Dat Boy A)
Iz this gon be a Rap vs. Rap song (no less, a Baton Rouge vs. Baton Rouge song)??? Just recently, on "Pyrex Radio Vol. 6: Arm & Hammer", Webbie & Big Head came out wit tha same title... like 3 months ago. Battle of tha "Click House"s, lol!!! >>> Ooh, what a NICE beat intro!! SO Baton Rouge right chea!! Dat Boy A keepin' it catchy and real on tha 1st verse, as it's str8 drug shit as well as BR style to tha max!! Yea, REAL NICE verse here!! DEFINITELY a nice job done wit that verse; luv tha drugged up drug lines, lol!! Wow, tha HOOK iz SO "retarded!!!" I like this song betta, although tha otha one was REAL GOOD wit GREAT drug lines too!! Damn, Dat Boy A REAL HUNGRY fa this shit right nah as he on tha 2nd verse too!! LOL @ tha "Playstation hooked up;" GREAT 2nd verse too!! Even on tha 3rd verse here, it's Dat Boy A; C-Locless, lol? Unless you produced this song, Loc, I'll just ID it as (Dat Boy A) as tha only one on tha song and not a feature. BTW, nice job on that 3rd verse!! MUCH BETTA than Dat Boy A's song on "Pyrex Radio Vol. 6" and a betta song than tha Webbie & Big Head one! I was gonna do a 4.9 rating, but due to no Loc when I expected, I'll just do 4.8. My Rating: 4.8
04. "Dum Dum" Feat. Young Ready
Now I know THIS'll be FEATURING!!! Y'all label mates, and y'all deliver that STR8 HEAT!! Tha length iz one second less, so wit nearly equal times, this should be JUST AS good as tha last song; 4.8 or higher prolly!!! >>> Did tha intro producer say "Get Ready on tha track?" I thought it was Q-Red, but I guess it's a newbie. REAL, REAL NICE beat!!! This beat iz betta than tha last song on here!!! Yea, back ta some Loc on tha 1st verse!! Sounds like you goin' "dum dum" on this beat right chea; no fuckin' bullshit!! Tha hook iz good too; great dumb shit right chea!! Wow, Young Ready SO FUCKIN' TIGHT on tha hook wit tha "go duuuuuuuuuummmmb!!!" Tight shit!! You're on tha 2nd verse also here, and it's consistent; nice job!! Great job wit tha lyrics too, as you just deliverin' that HOT SHIT, no matta how old you are!! Young Ready on tha hook REALLY gets me SO FUCKIN' ANTICIPATED fa his verse!!! Yea, he on tha 3rd verse here, and THAT'S RIGHT, "he just got outta jail!" His letter that he sent me back in September 2008 iz tha BEST moment in tha music business fa me 'cause I neva expected a response back! No wonder why I luv Ready so much fa what he does, ya dig! Just str8 RETARDED wit his rhymes and flow; he ALWAYS gutta and doesn't play wit this shit!!! That's why his "That's How I'm Coming" mixtape iz my most rated CD EVA currently, wit a 4.7/5.0 CD rating!! MAJOR THUMBS UP ta tha producer on this track!!!!! First time I heard them produce a song, and I just luv it!!! Nothin' but that REAL SHIT on a dark beat, STR8 "dum dum"/retarded!!! My Rating: 4.9
05. "Feds Still Ride" Feat. Dat Boy A
Will this be a feature this time? I have a feelin' it will be... I luv tha title, so this iz sky-high anticipation fa me!!!!! >>> Sounds like tha door bell iz in tha beat intro, lol! Reminds me of Q-Red producing 'cause I saw 2 of his "makin' a beat" videos on his MySpace, and how he makes his beats. Tha hook iz TIGHT; glad you're REALLY on this one wit Dat Boy A!! Speaking of A, he on tha 1st verse here, and tha door bell iz still in tha beat! He doin' his thang wit this shit, just STR8 STREET SHIT!!! Great job from A on tha 1st verse, and yea, Loc 'bout dat real shit wit tha hook, although it pretty sad that tha feds are SO OBSESSED wit capturin' people! You on tha 2nd verse, and you're takin' tha hook, and expandin' it! Nice job on tha 2nd verse, and I'm glad you "got a GED!" I'm done wit 3 years of college, and I'm goin' 'til 2011, which tha total'll be like 4.5 years of college! Two years of Business Studies, and tha remainin' 2.5 years of Digital Media & Broadcast Communications! A on tha 3rd verse, and he spittin' mo real shit about what be goin' on in tha streets and shit; NICE 3rd verse! Yea, tha beat just disappeared, and you spit tha lil' part of tha hook on an acapella!! My Rating: 4.7
06. "Freak" Feat. Lil' Boosie
Saw this on Word Of South, but I didn't get tha song. I think I wanted ta wait fa this review ta hear it. After hearin' tha "Bussin'" song on "Pyrex Radio Vol. 6", I was gonna add that song, and I'm thinkin' 'bout addin' it fa August on my playlist. This looks like a single... And speakin' of a Baton Rouge rapper featuring Lil' Boosie type style, most recently, rapper Derty, wit his song "Uh Oh" (featuring Lil' Boosie), hit Music Choice Hip-Hop And R&B a lil' over a month ago!!! I was like, "OMG, Baton Rouge iz on Music Choice again!!" It's like, once 2007 ended, Louisiana Rap music wasn't goin' mainstream anymore, nowhere near Pop as well. Even though they prolly only gon play tha song a few times, at least it made it onto there!! I almost feel like tha same gon happen ta this song! >>> LOL @ tha intro; it just KICKED IN LIKE IT WAS NUTHIN'!! I rememba someone sayin' somethin' about tha R&B sample in tha hook; catchy. Tha 1st verse here from you, and it looks like you REALLY into tha sex game here! What's wit tha dances? "Stanky Legg" and "Halle Berry"? I almost thought you sounded cheesy when you said tha "Halle Berry" one, lol. Not bad on tha 1st verse from you; I'm glad I at least heard you on tha track! Boosie supplyin' a lil' bit of tha hook, wantin' ta "touch it" and shit like that. That wasn't enough 'cause he on tha 2nd verse... LOL @ "lick my nuts!" First, it was you wantin' yo "nuts sucked," and now, Boosie gettin' licked! LOL, I just called my aunt Arline's dog "Boosie" instead of Princess; I guess I'm drained into tha song, lol!! Pretty good verse from Boosie right there; luv his flow!! Ooh, only less than 30 seconds left on tha song, and you're on a 3rd verse! Short verse, but I liked that you said "buku" in it; nice. Anotha NICE cold ending too! I'll prolly just play "Bussin'" fa now, but if this does get out there all over sources, then I'll add it. My Rating: 4.3
07. "Get Money" Feat. Dre
All these lengths pretty much are under 4 minutes... But, they doin' they thang still!! Who's this Dre? Title looks like a mainstream song like tha last one... >>> Anotha X-Fyle track here... Yea, tha intro sounds very mainstreamish; will this CD sell a lot? Tha 1st verse here from you, and it sounds like you REALLY... REALLY, REALLY, REALLY... 'bout yo ca$h!! $$$$$!!! Nice job on that 1st verse, just keepin' yoself out there!! Tha hook sounds good; it's catchy, so you can't evade catchiness! You on tha 2nd verse here, and you just REALLY want dat money!! I dunno your history wit jail, but accordin' ta me readin'/hearin' about you, it sounds like you evade tha feds pretty good! LOL @ your "damn, today Tuesday?!" part; nice emotion in tha voice! Gotta have emotion in yo voice instead of soundin' boring! Like, when people do tha local news at my college, they don't add any emotion in their news stories, but I do (although I don't read anything off; I do tha character generator). Oh, so that's Dre on tha 3rd verse (and not tha hook)! It was good ta hear from him; he did his thang! Wow, anotha catchy cold ending like tha last song! My Rating: 4.4
08. "Grind Mode" Feat. Young Ready
Ooh, over 4 minutes this time, and wit Ready again!!! You (and your representative, who prolly chooses what goes on here) must REALLY KNOW how ta please me!!! Dyin' ta hear this one too!!! >>> Real nice intro!!! Tha hook here has a MUCH betta "gettin' money" type hook than tha last song! Yea, 100%+ "grind mode" right chea!!! Yea, you on tha 1st verse, CANNOT BE STOPPED!!! I like how you said "mess me wit dat bullshit" like you said on one of your older songs from a few years ago! You sound perfect on this 1st verse, as you got err-thang (work, clothes, etc.), and anything you want, you can get; that's how ya do it! Str8 true street shit right chea!! Nice start to tha 2nd verse here as you're "stackin' 1,000, 2,000," and more deep down inside! Even "yo kids stuck in 'grind mode'!" That's REALLY watz good!! I like how you ended tha verse wit "if I ain't gettin' money, shit, I guess I must be dead, hoe;" true shit! I have like $500 right now, and for some reason, my money ALWAYS lasts a 1/2 year 'cause every Christmas, I get mo money from my family, and then, my birthday (June 21), I get mo money! Ready on tha 3rd verse here, "gettin' money from January - Jannuary;" true shit!! In his new "So Serious" video that my dawg Hannibal directed, in tha photoshoot of it, he holdin' up buku money, ya dig! Ready DEFINITELY did anotha nice job on this shit right chea!! Not sure if this one or tha otha one wit Ready on it iz betta; gonna tie tha ratings! My Rating: 4.9
½time: I thought Big Head... even Gar from Chopper City Boyz had a REAL NICE start to their mixtapes, but no, yours iz EASILY THA BEST SO FAR!!! Really, Camp Life iz on top of this shit!!! Camp Life and Millionaire Minds Entertainment wit Blu Black out Gardere Lane!!! Speakin' of G-Lane, shout out ta dat whole G-Lane: Blu Black, Hannibal, Yung Yola (FREE YUNG YOLA!!!!!), Beezy Bird, Dae~Dae, Sims, Lil' Mike, Needy Nee, Ace, Young True, Lil' KG, Butla, Toke, Kid, Big #'s, and anyone I 'bout ta know about, ya dig!! Anyway, REALLY enjoyin' this CD, and I'm REAL GLAD ta be cool wit tha Camp Life representative!! Tha average CD rating iz currently a WHOPPING 4.6!!!
09. "Load The Yopper" Feat. Stone
Iz "yopper" tha new version of tha chopper? This Stone dude on this track prolly gon roll on tha track HARD like a stone, lol!! Your featured people NEVA front, so I'm REALLY lookin' forward ta this shit!!! >>> I like your lil' introduction (acapella style), but WTF, this a dance??? Sounds like I was right about "yopper" bein' a version of tha chopper. Still, when you got a GANGSTA title like this, my anticipation iz high! See, if it was "Do The Yopper", then I would've had an advanced warning! Either way, regardless, tha hook wasn't THAT bad, and tha 1st verse still keeps it gangsta! Nice lyrics about guns and shit!! I'm gonna pretend I didn't hear tha beginning where you said, "this a new dance." However, I think tha beat kinda gay 'cause it reminds me of all those dance songs... Stone iz on tha 2nd verse here, and yea, he DOES sound like he "rollin' on tha track HARD like a stone" (as I said earlier)! Definitely doin' a nice job here, so thumbs up!! Keepin' that hook hot at tha end, so thumbs up! Pretty surprising of a review fa this song as I'm givin' it at least a 4.0! Perfect comeback from beginning ta end 'cause of tha gangsta verses! I knew you wouldn't COMPLETELY disappoint, so thumbs up! But, next time, don't scare me in tha beginning, lol! My Rating: 4.1
10. "No Mercy" Feat. Lil' Boosie
Nice 4:47 on tha length... This title looks cold, so I KNOW I gon get sum HOT SHIT!!! Boosie makin' a 3rd appearance too, lol! >>> Sounds like a mix between Kevin Gates Feat. Beezy Bird "I'm A Grinder" and Brister Boy a.k.a. Yung Choppa Feat. Yung Slab "Everytime U C Me (Remix)" in tha beat here... Sounds like it a GREAT hook wit Boosie on tha hook! I like that "if ya make it ta see 25, nigga, you an O.G." part 'cause I gon EASILY make 25! Tha 1st verse iz from Boosie, and it's soundin' betta than eva on this CD from hiim!! Feelin' tha beat style at 1:11 (how it did it in "Wipe Me Down")!! All tha lyrics in tha 1st verse were REAL!! What's wrong, Loc? Not so hungry on this song? Boosie on tha 2nd verse here too, lol! Still deliverin' such GREATNESS wit those lyrics on this shit!! I hate ta hear about all tha killin' goin' on. I REALLY hope Nu$$ie's death in Baton Rouge REALLY opened up err-ones eyez ta NOT KILL anyone!!! Really, if you beefin' wit someone, just don't go TOO far ta where you wanna kill them!! Will Loc be on tha 3rd verse? ... Yea, here comes tha Loc! Picked up PERFECTLY where Boosie left off on this song! You did yo thang on tha 3rd verse, although I thought Boosie held down his 1st 2 verses. Definitely a REAL HOT song right chea!! I betcha err-body in BR bumpin' this CD!!! My Rating: 4.8
11. "O.G." Feat. Bun B & Z-Ro
I'm basin' this off an mp3 file, but did they really ID Z-Ro's name as tha # Zero? I know this gon be a lyrical song, but I hope it's catchy enough, and not depressing! Tha title reminds me of tha hook in tha last song wit tha "25, ... you an O.G." part from Boosie! >>> Sounds like a slow beat, but a Trance synth mix? LOL @ tha mix! Kinda slow, but it'll prolly be good (like always)! You doin' yo thang on tha 1st verse, just deliverin' that real shit (like always)! Nice job on tha 1st verse, and that hook iz pretty catchy. When you said, "O.G!!!," tha "G" part goes right through ya headphones 'cause of it bein' a long note! Nice hook, and Bun iz on tha 2nd verse here. He did a not bad job; deliverin' tha shit fa tha streets. So, you're on tha 3rd verse too? Then, Z-Ro was on tha hook... Didn't realize he was there 'cause you made it catchy. You did a NICE job wit tha 3rd verse too! You keepin' tha hot lyrics goin' wit this shit! And Z-Ro in tha hook sounds good; nice mix! LOL @ tha cold ending; this time, it sounded odd 'cause it ended outta nowhere... Gonna put a lyrical rating wit this song so people don't think I ripped it off! Lyrical Rating: 4.6 | My Rating: 4.0
12. "Pay Attention"
Featureless, lol! Looks like ya got somethin' ta say wit that title!! >>> Tha same person that produced that "Dum Dum" on here produced this one too! I liked his other beat a lot betta, but this sounds like tha last song, only I'm glad you're just on it. Tha hook was pretty good too, although tha last one was betta. Tha 2nd verse here, and it's soundin' betta than Bun B's verse from tha last song. Great street lyrics (as always), and I'm glad you "protect yo home!" A betta 2nd verse, and tha ending iz a fade-out ending... or not, it was a fade-out that went cold, lol. Well, same rating fa this song, although this one will get a betta lyrical rating from me! Tha last song I like betta though, so it'll win in a tie-breaker. Lyrical Rating: 4.7 | My Rating: 4.0
13. "Say It Ain't So"
Just you again... I have corn sittin' on my dinner plate right nah, but I'm not really touchin' it 'cause I really wanna focus on doin' this review fa you! I mean, I just took some bites outta it just nah, but this review iz what's up! >>> Much betta/anticipating beat start as it's just grimy!! Wow, that "dare ma'fucka" shit in tha beginning iz just GANGSTA/GRIMY!!! Wow, tha hook iz tight too; GREAT SHIT HERE!!! Tha beat every 3-4 lines reminds me of a mix between a beat I made vs. a beat my boy Blu Black made. I guess through Q-Red in that mix too 'cause he makes beats like this too. But yea, DEFINITELY a nice 1st verse, as you just ain't takin' shit from no ma'fuckaz!! Tha 2nd verse has a REAL NICE start wit tha "*insert*, *insert*, and *insert*, oh my" emotional start!! I like tha "bow, bow, bow-bow-bow-bow" shit in here too! You did yo thang on tha 3rd verse!! Just fuckin' luvin' your attitude on this shit, as you're just PROTECTIVE of yourself, not lettin' ANYONE defeat you in ANYTHING!!! My Rating: 4.8
14. "Talk Too Much" Feat. Stone
Once again, this just an mp3 file, but it says "to" in tha title. It really "too" (as it's a lot, not to a place). Anyway, ewe, one second less than that dance song y'all were on earlier... I wonder what y'all got next? >>> LOL, "be quiet" and "shhhhhh"in' in tha beginning? This gon be anotha weird one prolly... Neva mind, I hear tha hook, and it's REAL, REAL CATCHY!!! I thought I had heard it somewhere else, but no, this new shit right chea!! That beat iz pretty good too on this shit. Hearin' tha 1st verse now, and it sounds like yo gurl stalkin' you? Knowin' it was "Room 213" must be on sum stalkin' shit... Real nice job on yo 1st verse!! Keepin' this shit NICE and catchy right chea!! Here comes that Stone dude on tha 2nd verse, talkin' 'bout a dude "talkin' too much" about shit. Nice lil' job from him right there. Pretty good song right here; just luvin' tha catchiness!! LOL, tha beat slowly faded out when it sounded like a cool cold ending. My Rating: 4.5
15. "Boss (Radio)"
Radio version? What song was "Boss" on here? *Checks* There was none. Iz this a re-titled song? *Listens* LOL, it's #2 on here. I'll consider this tha real title and not "Stacks On Deck" until further confirmation! See #2 fa tha review!
16. "O.G. (Radio)"
I KNEW this one was gonna have a radio version... So, I'm assumin' #17 iz a radio version also? That means that "Bussin'" didn't make this CD. Oh well, as long as it HELPED "Pyrex Radio Vol. 6" 'cause that song was a REAL NICE one right there! See #11 fa tha review!
17. "Freak (Radio)"
This one too has a radio version... I had a feelin'. Thanx 4 not 1, not 2, but 3 radio versions 'cause I may use them in my (hopefully) future radio shift at my college (Fall 2009)! I'm tryna come up wit an underground Louisiana radio show (clean versions only, sadly)! Hope ta expose lots of peeps like you! See #6 fa tha review!
Overall: Well, automatically a 5* CD 'cause all tha songs were rated 4.0 or higher by me!! Glad you have your 4TH 5* rated CD from me; that's AMAZING!!! Tha otha 3 were wit Tha Camp "Break It Off!", "Tha King Of B.R.: Greatest Hits Vol. 1 (Bootleg)", and "Under That Old Law". Not only that, but ALL 3 OF THOSE REVIEWZ WERE CONSISTENT!!! Since when do I review 3 5* CDs in a row??? No wonder, they had you all ova 'em!! Keep doin' yo thang, and I hope you like this review (like you always do)!! Str8 up on my iPod ASAP, and wait 'til I make tha commercial fa this shit, ya dig! Nuthin' but PROMOTION 'cause that's what I do, ya dig!! Shout out to tha Camp Life representative too; he'll like this shit!

Yea, "X-Fyle on tha track!" Nice short 1st verse right there, and I'm really likin' this "I'm eatin', you sleepin'" part in tha hook!!
I like this song betta, although tha otha one was REAL GOOD wit GREAT drug lines too!!
