tryna finish tha year 1994 off in my marathon today, so this should be
exciting! Tha next one on my list iz tha 2nd CD from TRU "Understanding

01. "1-900-CRIME"
Only 1:27? So, this must just be an intro? It looks tight, so let's see what we got... >>> Yea, this iz interesting fa a lil' intro. Too bad someone caught you "wit 3 keys." I neva been in a court situation, so I wouldn't know what ta do when it would come ta bein' wit your kids or evading tha court date. My Rating: N/A
02. "Fuck That Shit"
Tha title looks like it completely explains tha reaction ta goin' ta court, lol. Let's see how it gon turn out as a song! >>> LOL @ Master P, not givin' a fuck what he say on tha radio! Nice lil' uptempo beat here, and tha hook iz good. He did a good job on tha 1st verse right here. Pretty nice 2nd verse on this shit too; sounds like this song iz just flyin' by. Feelin' tha rhymes in tha 3rd verse; nice shit! I like tha "sellin' cane" shit too. Tha outro iz like 1:20 almost? I guess it's pretty good fa a message fa that long. I like tha phone call at tha end too. My Rating: 4.1

A lotta laws gettin' to y'all, huh, lol? >>> Sounded like a pretty long intro... Here comes tha 1st verse, and it's about defending your chances of gettin' hit by "tha system." Really feelin' tha hook on this too; I like it betta than tha last song. Tha 2nd verse from P here iz soundin' good, as always. Tha verse was nice and long; always feelin' tha drug lines!! I like tha lyrics at tha end when it's acapella, but I don't like tha singin' at all. My Rating: 4.2
04. "I'm The Funkiest"
Not sure of what ta think I'm gonna hear... >>> Okay, good beat fa a start wit no intro this time. P on tha 1st verse, and always deliverin' those hot police/drug rhymes. It's 1:50 into tha song, and tha verse still goin'?? At 1:59, it finally ended. I guess back in tha day, there were just real long verses! Only 1 verse? 'Cause now, there's a lil' bit of talkin' fa tha next 1+ minute. Not bad, although I liked tha "Fuck That Shit" one better on tha outro. My Rating: 3.8
05. "I Ain't Going Out That Way"
Anotha title I don't know what ta expect, although wit it bein' long fa a title, it should be good! >>> Decent beat, and not bad rhymes goin' on here. Tha 2 verses (I think 2, right?) were decent. Nothin' spectacular came outta this... Oh wait, a 3rd verse. My Rating: 3.3
½time: Sounds like a pretty good CD (as always). There's usually neva any disappointment (right now, 1994) from P and what he does. I have a feelin' tha 2nd 1/2 will pick up betta than tha 1st 1/2!
06. "I Wear A Bullet Proof Vest"
This should be a real good song, especially wit that title! >>> Yea, tha 1st verse ("19 years old" no less) iz off ta a REAL GOOD start wit "started wit weed, now a nigga sellin' rocks." How weird that tha "19 years old" part was :19 into tha song, lol! Real nice job on tha 1st verse, and tha talkin' before tha 2nd verse was nice too. Let's hear this anticipatin' 2nd verse... Nice job on that verse; tha 1st verse was betta though. Nice talkin' again before tha next verse! Nice short 3rd verse too. I like tha "shiiid" parts at tha end (2x)!! Nice talkin' again at tha end of tha 3rd verse; Louisiana shit right chea!! My Rating: 4.3
07. "Let's Do It"
No comment; lemme hear... >>> No intro, and it sounds like P wants a gurl. Nice 1st verse, and that copy/paste hook (LOL) sounds good/catchy. Nice 2nd verse, including tha phone call intermission that was in tha middle of it. Not bad on tha 3rd verse; cool song right here. My Rating: 4.0
08. "Little Slut"
LOL @ tha "slut" part in tha title! Mainly 'cause L-Bain came out wit a song (wit Spark Dawg & Ju1ce) called "Rappers Slut" recently. Really lookin' forward ta this one!! >>> LOL @ tha odd beat intro. Sounds like a mad hook (or iz that tha 1st verse?). Nah, it's just a verse. Nice attitude on this shit. LMAO @ "ya lil' fuckin' slut!" Luvin' tha anger here! "You're a hoe, hoe, hoe!" Nice anger still on tha 2nd verse, as well as tha longness in tha verse! Even a 3rd verse fit here, and it's still doin' tha damn thang! My Rating: 4.5
09. "Niggas From Cali"
LOL, "Cali" iz spelled wit 2 L's on this title; I corrected it. Anyway, I have a feelin' fa anotha good song! >>> Nice attitude on tha 1st verse; glad fa this attitude consistentness! Tha 2nd verse here iz soundin' catchy wit tha flow this time. Nice rhymes too on this verse! I like tha ending ta tha verse: "A nigga, nigga, nigga, nigga, nigga from Cali." Tha 3rd verse from P here; let's see... Nice job. My Rating: 4.0
10. "Tell Them What's Going On"
>>> Sounds like tha hook iz more on Marvin Gaye's song "What's Goin' On". Okay 1st verse on this. Nice P verse "goin' on" here on tha 2nd verse, lol. Nothin' else ta say... My Rating: 3.5
11. "Understanding The Criminal Mind"
Tha last song, no less bein' tha title track. Let's see how we gon end it... >>> West Coast style, and tha intro (wit P) "don't give a fuck about tha police," so tha toughness iz here! Nice verse, and now, tha 2nd verse iz here... Nice job. Nice and long, and tha rhymes held it down! Tha 3rd verse was pretty good too. Not bad fa an ending song. My Rating: 3.7
Overall: Well, it turned out ta be pretty good. A mix of tha decent wit tha good, so this was pretty good.
