Thought
I was gon get through all nine CDs tonight, but too many distractions went on…
Either way, I did pretty good for one day, still. This my 5th and
final review of tha day: DJ P-Cutta
& Gunplay Off Safety, released
back on May 29, 2011 on Maybach Music Group! Now, because I’m stressin’ out
about tha people at where I interned not answerin’ me about gettin’ hired, I
may need to be ducked-off in tha morning, tomorrow morning. However, I will
make it my best effort to try and do tha other four CD reviewz sometime
tomorrow, if it doesn’t get too distracting! Start Time: 10:41 PM | End
Time: 11:12 PM
Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0
– 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!
I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long
as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and
then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a
song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6
rating, I pretty much really love it,
as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I
hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type
before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything
after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening
to it. If you use tha word “swag” frequently, have auto-tune in your vocals, or
talk about nothin’ but money and hoes 100,000x (which I consider ‘typical’
topics), I’m not buyin’ it! After I
was robbed by an artist who claimed they “get money,” hearin’ about how much
you “got money” and anything “money” really bothers me. If you have not done
business wit me before, I won’t tolerate “money” talk in tha music!!

Intro Feat. P-Cutta
>>>
Nice intro from P-Cutta. It says featuring, but since I consider him tha DJ of
this CD, I’ll just leave tha feature out? Ehh, I’ll put it in… Also, nice
speech sample in tha beginning… My
Rating: N/A
02.
“Rollin’” Feat. Rick Ross & Waka Flocka
I
know this, and it’s #2 again? Well, since it says Ross iz featured, as well,
I’ll re-review some of it… >>> Still sounds tha same, so I guess this
iz a revamped version? As far as Ross’ feature, it’s just everything he “got,”
which, I dunno how much ta believe… At least he got luv fa you, though. I’ll
just rate this tha same as tha previous version… My Rating: 4.5
03.
“No Arm & Hammer”
Ooh…
>>> Sounds like one of tha lines from one of tha previous jointz I
reviewed… Either way, great hook; you
make this “no arm & hammer in my Hannah Montana” shit sound great! Great shit comin’ from tha 1st
verse, too! “No Pepsi in my bottle;” lol… Tha 2nd verse’s nice, too;
you’re real consistent wit this shit,
right now!!! My Rating: 4.7
04.
“Mask On”
Ooh!!
>>> Diggin’ tha beat start; almost sounded like tha Short Bus Boyz’s
“shiiiiiid who” sayin’ in tha intro…? Either way, definitely diggin’ this gangsta shit; anotha anthem, like tha “No
Arm & Hammer”!! Tha 1st verse’s pretty tight; of course, you
can’t be stopped!! Tha 2nd verse has got dat real shit, as well: “No
luv in my city;” it’s everywhere, sadly. :( My Rating: 4.5
05.
“Junkie”
Ooh,
once again, lol! >>> More catchy shit; “junkie, junkie, junkie!!” Tha
1st verse’s soundin’ good, too; “anotha” everythang, right? Even got
“her” “all on [your] salami,” lol! Consistency comin’ outta tha 2nd
verse, too; whoo, luvin’ this mixtape, so far!! My Rating: 4.4
06.
“Drum Squad”
! >>> Ooh, a “drum” imitation intro!! Definitely nice!! Wow, definitely a catchy hook wit dat “drum” imitation!!! Here you are on tha 1st verse, comin’ through, just wantin’ shit easy; I wish it was easy… Good shit on tha 2nd verse, too! “I neva gave a fuck and neva plan to;” I feel dat!! I’m startin’ ta not give “a fuck,” these dayz… My Rating: 4.6

½time: So far, an excellent, consistent, catchy-ass
CD, lol!! You got a 4.5 for
tha CD rating, here!! Keep it up!!
07.
Off Safety Interlude
>>>
Sounds good; pretty serious wit this movie-like shit goin’ on… My Rating: N/A
08.
“Skrate Up Menace”
I
like tha title, here… >>> Might be my least-favorite outta tha jointz,
so far; not tha craziest about this New York-soundin’ vibe, but tha hook’s
catchy… Tha 1st verse sounds good; you got some real shit goin’ on,
here… Tha 2nd verse has some good shit ta offer, too; not bad,
overall… My Rating: 3.8
09.
“Herbalist”
This
file didn’t work, so I had to download it through YouTube… >>> I like
tha title and tha herb-vibe hook,
though I thought it would be a lil’ catchier? Lemme hear tha 1st
verse from you… Sounds good wit tha “weed” content, but hearin’ “Kush” today, “Kush” sounds much catchier! Feelin’ tha 2nd
verse wit tha “everyday’s a smokeathon!” Not bad for a verse and a track,
overall… My Rating: 3.9
10.
“She Know Wussup” Feat. Gudda Gudda & Young Breed
Anticipatin’
this collab!! >>> Good start, so far, though tha beat sounds like some
bullshit someone would rap off of… Not bad wit tha 1st verse from
you, here, as well as tha hook… Let’s see what we got from Gudda Gudda on tha 2nd
verse (lol, not Ross, finally?)… Though I don’t anticipate Gudda, this okay ta
listen to… LOL @ rhymin’ with “Gunplay.” Yes, Breed on tha 3rd verse
and yes, we all know “[he] da shit!!”
Good shit from him, here! My Rating: 4.0
11.
“Wut They Yellin’”
Let’s
hear it! >>> Sounds good fa tha start! “All they want iz Gunplay; all
they want iz Gunplay! All they want iz—all they want iz—all they want iz
Gunplay!!” Catchy shit, and tha 1st verse’s soundin’ pretty
aggressive, lol… Tha 2nd verse’s soundin’ good, too; err-thang gotta come ta you, Gunplay! My Rating: 4.3
12.
Outro
!
>>> Good outro from Cutta, though not on tha feature, here, lol? My Rating: N/A
Overall: Great job, Gunplay!! This
gotta be my favorite mixtape of yours, so far, though tha shortest! Lookin’
forward ta tomorrow (hopefully), startin’ wit tha Bogota Rich: The Prequel! I know “Fuck Shit”’s on there; can’t wait ta let you know what I got ta say
about that one!!
