I'm here again! FrankieThaLuckyDog in tha buildin'! Time to do my 2nd review for today: Fila Phil "Da Hustla"! This iz an anticipating CD fa me to review! I heard about this one online! Start Time: 11:24 PM | End Time: 12:14 AM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you sound like anything too mainstream for me or have auto-tune in your vocals, I’m not buyin’ it!

01. Intro Feat. Mia X
Startin' this CD off (hopefully good)! >>> Mia X iz gettin' me anticipated speakin' on tha intro here!! Sounds like familiar music in tha beat here. I like tha "da hustla" parts in this too. My Rating: N/A


02. "Hustlaz (Raw)"
A "raw" title fa tha startin' song! Lookin' forward ta hearin' what you got!! >>> Sounds like a fast beat, more towards tha B-32 style, and songs that usually have tha "dunn-dunn-dunn-dunn" in tha beat. You sound pretty cool on this, although I pictured you havin' a darker voice. This shit iz DEFINITELY tight here! Tha 1st 2 verses were GREAT so far! Great combination of tha beat wit tha rappin' here! Tha rhymes go GREAT fa tha hood too! It's somethin' you HAVE ta luv! Tha part at 2:49 wit tha "snort a pound/bag... bag of dope" reminded me of B-32's "I Need A Bag Of Dope" song. GREAT SHIT right here!! You HELD it down; NON-STOP RAPPIN'!!! My Rating: 4.4


03. "Kickin' Doors In"
Looks like a nice title for you. I hope to expect what I expected from tha last joint!! >>> Yea, this that shit right chea!! Tha beat has a nice, fast start! Yea, tha "dunn-dunn-dunn-dunn" in tha beat!! Yea, that hook iz REAL TIGHT!!! Tha verses on this held it DOWN like tha last song!! Really enjoyed this shit right here! Who could ask fa more consistent shit like this?! My Rating: 4.6


04. "Hustlin'-Azz Nigga" Feat. Tre-8
Anotha REAL NICE title, although it's only 2:12? I had a feelin' this'll be "dunn-dunn-dunn-dunn" fa tha beat, but tha length iz kinda short, so I don't know what to expect... >>> A touch slower, but still upbeat. Sounds like a conversation in tha verse? Luved tha beginning wit tha "gimme an ounce." Tha dude you're chattin' wit iz Tre-8, so I put him in tha feature (tha mp3 files don't show tha featured artists, unfortunately). Really FUCKIN' LUVIN' tha hook wit you spittin' on it, as well as tha "buku" parts and tha "dizzick" part, lol. Great song fa a short amount of time!! My Rating: 4.5


05. "Let It Be Known" Feat. Tre-8
Should hopefully be anotha GREAT one!! >>> Sounds JUST like tha last song wit tha "slangin' that dope" and this has tha "dunn-dunn-dunn-dunn" in tha beat too!! Yea, you be DEFINITELY "kickin' it fa those real-ass niggaz!" Anotha REAL CATCHY hook on this shit!!! Sounds like a featured person on tha 2nd verse? Too bad I don't know. I need ta Google this CD, and see if tha featured artists come up (EDIT: I put Tre-8 as tha feature)! Tha 3rd verse was nice, and now, I think it's a 4th verse? That hook just comes up frequently, and I just fuckin' am LUVIN' Fila Phil and his shit!! This shit just DOESN'T STOP!!! GREAT ENDING wit tha repetitiveness wit tha title, then tha "break 'em off somethin'!" My Rating: 4.5


½time: An AMAZING START!!! Tha 2nd best CD I've reviewed so far in my marathon (Death "Possessed By Tha Oulja Board" was my best so far)!!! I'm still lookin' up tha tracklisting online to see if there's any features... *Checks* Shit, not even Amazon.com has a tracklisting. But, Discogs said tha only featured people (not listed on each track) iz Mia X & Tre-8, so I'm gonna put them in each ID (assuming when I hear a different male, I'll put Tre-8 [e.g., #5]); someone correct me if any errors!


06. "What's My Name" Feat. Mia X, Terrible-T & Tre-8
Fila Phil, fa sho!! Keep doin' yo thang, and deliver ANOTHA BANGA!!! >>> Now, there's Mia X in tha intro! Great chant in tha beginning from a crowd, and now, you're on tha 1st verse!! Just hearin' you on this sounds like this would be a good opening song to this CD; it all good though 'cause it openin' up tha 2nd 1/2 fa me! Definitely a GREAT verse from you on tha 1st verse, holdin' it down! Ooh, a different voice, and I checked again to see who it was, and it was Terrible-T. Good shit, and anotha dude on tha 2nd verse... That was Tre-8. He did his thang. Ooh, you're on tha 2nd verse too, doin' tha DAMN thang!! My Rating: 4.3


07. "Gangsta Lean"
Now, this would be a typical topic wit songs. I wanna hear how it sounds 1.5 decades ago!! >>> Uh oh, that voice of yours KICKIN' IN at :07, makin' me think this gon be a pretty fast song again! Well, tha beat iz kinda fast, but it sounds like I would focus more on you; shit's still jammin'! Yea, you DEFINITELY "got big nuts" fa this Rap shit! Ooh, towards tha 2:30 mark, I like tha "bang, bang" part; you gettin' "gangsta" on this shit! DOIN' THA DAMN THANG, ALL DAY, ERR-DAY!!! My Rating: 4.3


08. "For Real Mac Daddy"
Definitely lookin' forward again!! >>> Tha "dunn-dunn-dunn-dunn" sounds nice and watered-down this time, lol!! Great beat! Now, lemme hear you on tha 1st verse... You held it down, doin' yo thang (like always). Nice 2nd verse on this too. Great job wit this song. My Rating: 4.1


09. "Hustlaz (Radio)"
Oh, this just a radio version... I thought tha "raw" in tha otha version wasn't exactly a dirty version, but it all good. See #2 fa tha review!


10. Outro
I wanna know what you got fa tha outro! >>> That nice beat style! Great Bounce style! Sounds like a Bounce beat, and some chants; that's it. I thought you was gonna shout people out or somethin'... I can't really rate this, but nice job wit this beat. My Rating: N/A


Overall: Well, DEFINITELY a NICE JOB done here, Fila Phil!! I know you got somethin' else in my marathon, so you KNOW DAMN WELL I'm lookin' forward to that shit!! Luv your style, tha beats you rapped on, and everything!! Keep doin' yo thang, and I really hope you're still alive!!
