Frankie here... Deliverin' a 3rd review fo ya: Lil' Slim "Powder Shop"! SO FUCKIN' GLAD he has anotha CD in my marathon, no less wit a GREAT title like that!! Although only 6 songs, I'm REALLY lookin' forward!!! Start Time: 4:49 PM | End Time: 5:14 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you sound like anything too mainstream for me or have auto-tune in your vocals, I’m not buyin’ it!

01. "Eagle St. Bounce"
Only 3:08? I thought this was gonna be longer... I'm still REALLY lookin' forward to it!! >>> Yea, a Bounce song!! All about da "powder & white" here!! Luv it wit tha "dunn-dunn-dunn-dunn" hidden in tha beat and tha "bounce--biggity--bounce!" Really feelin' tha style in tha beat, and when you rap tha lyrics on this, you make it seem like a story just happenin' within' my eyes. I can picture this shit in my head! DEFINITELY sum GREAT verses rapped here, as well as a REAL GREAT Bounce song; LUV 'em (Bounce songs)!! My Rating: 4.6


02. "Tha Lil' One"
This should be a "good one," lol! >>> Interesting/anticipating intro beat, and now, wit tha 1st verse, here comes you! Gotta luv how this Bounce music has ta do wit drugs; luvin' it! Likin' tha "ringin' like a high school bell." Yea, this one has "bounce--biggity--bounce" in tha hook, although no "dunn-dunn-dunn-dunn" beat; it all good though! Great 1st 2 verses, and tha 3rd verse just continues that HOT shit! Good job wit this shit right chea! My Rating: 4.3


03. "Hos I Used 2 Sweat II" Feat. B-32
Ooh, a Part 2, yet only 2:52! B-32 on this, so you KNOW I'm lookin' forward to EVERYTHING this shit has ta offer!!! >>> Good start here, keepin' everythang consistent!! Nice job wit tha 1st verse, and tha hook was catchy; great shit! Tha 2nd verse iz soundin' good fa this too. Tha 3rd verse iz soundin' good too; great job. Yea, here comes B-32 on tha 4th verse! He did his thang; thumbs up. My Rating: 4.2


½time: Well, anotha REAL NICE CD/tape from you!! Definitely luvin' your music, and you REALLY be holdin' it down fa tha Bounce scene that occurred in tha 90's, fa real! Lookin' forward to tha last 3!!


04. "True To Tha Games"
Let's see this one... >>> Yea, here's that fast beat ("Paid In Full" style)!! You makin' tha lyrics go GREAT mixin' wit tha beat! Good job on tha 1st verse, and tha hook iz REAL catchy!! Yea, luvin' tha drug rappin'!! Luv tha "yayo" part in tha hook!!! Real good job on tha 2nd verse too; you ARE "only in this game once" when you in these streetz! Tha 3rd verse was good too, and now, let's see what you got fa a 4th verse... Neva mind, this just a NICE bridge wit all those wards & places. Wow, you held that part DOWN, shoutin' out all dem places!! My Rating: 4.4


05. "Powder Shop"
Ooh, even a title track too!! So fuckin' lookin' forward to this!! >>> Nice "biggity--biggity--bitch" parts, and great rappin' on this 1st verse. Tha beat ain't that fast, but it still goes good wit your rappin'. Tha 3rd verse sounds GREAT wit all tha drugs and tha stats! Thumbs up to tha rest of this shit, as well as your "powder shop!" My Rating: 4.3


06. "Blunt After Blunt" Feat. PxMxWx & Pimp Daddy
This should be a REAL GREAT ending song; REALLY lookin' forward!!! >>> Ooh, great start wit tha beat! Yea, you a "real fuckin' smoka!" REALLY FEELIN' tha smoke-type rhymes in tha 1st verse!! Ooh, likin' tha "ain't nuthin' but a weed thang, baby!" part! Wow, GREAT job wit this shit!!! Ooh, even tha beat iz changin' a lil' at :55!! All GREAT thingz comin' wit this song!! Ooh, "bite after bite iz like light after light;" GREAT SHIT!!! Oh wow, GREAT HOOK TOO!!! Luvin' tha "brrrupa" (sp?) parts! Tha 2nd verse iz startin' off wit a Bounce type of flow!! Luvin' tha weed lyrics too!! Ooh, THUMBS UP to tha person on tha 2nd verse fa "smokin' 6 blunts!" Yea, a 3rd verse here!! REAL GREAT job!!! What a GREAT ending!! I luved tha 1st song on here, but this one iz EASILY tha best!! My Rating: 4.8


Overall: Well, an AUTOMATIC 5* CD from me 'cause each song I rated at least a 4.0; thumbs up, Lil' Slim!!! You tha shit, and you DEFINITELY held it (muthafuckin') DOWN!!! Keep doin' yo thang (if you still around), and I HOPE to hear more of this Bounce shit in my marathon 'cause I muthafuckin' LUV IT!!!
