Now dat I’m off of college for today, I’m gonna just keep grindin’—consistently—‘til I go back on Monday! Lemme start this semi-weekend off wit Lil’ Sheppard “Interstate Musik Pt. 1”! Start Time: 2:30 PM | End Time: 3:09 PM
Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings (if a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it) so any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. “Smoking On Purp (Intro)”
Looks like it gon be tight for an intro… >>> Sounds good fa what it iz, lol. “Grindin’” anthem here for a start! My Rating: 3.9
02. “Ambitions As A Gangsta”
Missin’ an “i” in “ambitions”. Also, tha “a” iz missin’ after “as” in tha title. Anyway, usually, “ambitions” iz a Tupac-stereotype kinda title but at least it doesn’t say, “rida,” lol! >>> Sounds catchy; anotha good hook here wit a nice piano on tha beat! Tha rhymes iz good; definitely feelin’ tha content in tha lyrics! Stand up fa tha 2nd verse here; rapid-fire!! My Rating: 4.4
03. “No Hoe” Feat. John John & Cam
LOL @ you havin’ three “p”s in your name in tha ID! Anyway, let’s see what dis collab gon bring… >>> Sounds like a mainstream Baton Rouge-type song like “Zoom” in tha beat a lil’ for me. I didn’t realize at first: iz this someone’s song featurin’ you? Tha 2nd verse sounds good here; this iz an aight song fa me… My Rating: 3.6
04. “Was That Nigga”
Don’t know what ta say… >>> Sounds like a street anthem; I’m likin’ tha hook here! Reminds me of some VL Mike-type shit or Twelve A’Klok! Wow, VERY consistent here!! You REALLY held it down all tha way!! My Rating: 4.5
05. “Hustling” Feat. StripLife
Anotha feature; lookin’ forward… >>> Okay, I’m likin’ tha start here! REALLY luvin’ tha “ing” at tha end of “thuggin’” and “druggin’” on tha hook; GR8 shit!! Tha content iz DEFINITELY a plus too!! Damn, why iz this song ova six minutes? That’s kinda long for this mixtape? I’m likin’ all tha gangsta shit here; nice collab! Too long of a song though… My Rating: 4.4
06. “Gangsta Bitch”
Let’s see what’s up here… >>> Likin’ this beat here; sounds older than 2010-type-soundin’ shit? Feelin’ this shit; now, it’s short, smh… My Rating: 4.3
½time: Sounds pretty nice here! So far, a 4.2 average CD rating!
07. “See Me” Feat. John John & Cam
What’s wit you in tha feature again? You have this in tha wrong order on tha DatPiff tracklisting (as it’s flipped wit #8). What’ll this combo sound like this time? >>> I’m likin’ tha real Southern beat here unlike dat shit dat usually comes out in tha mainstream these dayz; good hook too! LOL, almost thought dat was Hurricane Chris on tha 2nd verse… I’m likin’ tha content goin’ on here! Nice job wit tha collaboration and rhymes here; soundin’ gr8! My Rating: 4.3
08. “Feels Good” Feat. H-Town Shawty
Not sure if I’ll look forward ta dis… >>> Tha beat says, “No,” so I’ll say, “Agreed.” I’m not too crazy about tha hook here but tha gurl sounds hot on tha vocals. Tha 1st verse iz okay; I don’t have any interest in this though. LOL, you have a dude named “Booger”? LOL? My Rating: 2.8
09. “Can’t Fade A G” Feat. John John
Again, you put yourself in tha feature… >>> Betta-soundin’ beat here. Oh, I know this one already… Good start; hope it stays dat way on this Vybe beat, lol! Interestin’ hook; luv tha “fuck, no!!” Tha 1st verse’s definitely hot fa tha hood; good shit, my boy! Dat must be John John on tha 2nd verse. He sounds pretty cool here! He must be young; good shit! Nice job wit contributin’ a 3rd verse too on dis shit! My Current Rating: 4.3
10. “Stressing”
>>> At least this has a hot beat than what I was thinkin’ it gon sound like; catchy hook too. Sounds good on tha content wit tha lyrics; lol, one verse only? My Rating: 4.1
11. “I Need A Favor” Feat. Cam
In tha feature again, you are? >>> Cool beat; a lil’ soft fa me… Okay, tha verses seem strong so I’ll accept them. My Rating: 3.4
12. “Mey Day (Outro)”
>>> Wow, hot beat start for an ending song!! You goin’ hard on this too; thumbs up!! Tha hook’s REAL nice too!! My Rating: 4.5
Overall: Sounds good; I got two more reviewz for ya comin’ up!
