Got kinda mixed up yesterday so I didn’t do much reviewz… But, let’s see how I do today. This 1st review iz Box “LSU (Louisiana State Underdog)”! Start Time: 2:34 PM | End Time: 3:03 PM


Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings (if a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it) so any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. “Angels (Freestyle)”
>>> Not that familiar wit this beat but it sounds REAL GR8 wit you so far in tha beginning and I’m only 16 seconds in!! Now, I know tha beat @ :49; must be remade wit some synths… “How many stations’ll give this air time;” I will (original beats only though; I got a song wit you and Handy radio edited from ’04 so you in)! My Rating: 4.5


02. “Make The Trap Say Aye (Freestyle)”
Damn, DatPiff removed it… Only limited to a 30 second sample… >>> They put tha very beginning, smh? They could’ve started it wit tha 1st verse… But, sounds like it could’ve been pretty good! My Rating: 3.9


03. “I’m Good (Freestyle)”
>>> Tha beat start didn’t sound anticipatin’ but for some reason, this sounds pretty good wit you on tha hook; deliverin’ thangz smooth… LOL, tha hook’s kinda weird fa me ‘cause it’s tha original track or somethin’… Oh yea, neva mind, recognized dis was Clipse’s song; I don’t feel ashamed ta hear it (I thought it was a boring Pop rapper or somethin’). Either way, I don’t like when tha instrumentals have tha original hooks on ‘em… “Good” job on tha verses though… DatPiff removed tha previous song but wit this song, it has tha original hook and they don’t remove? Weird… My Rating: 3.4


04. “Lemons (Freestyle)”
DatPiff removed this too… I have a feelin’ dis tha “Lemonade” song; I’ll BURST out laughin’ if it iz (‘cause of tha beat)!!! >>> ROFL!!!!! You sound good on tha mic here so you KNOW dis shit’s official!! LOL, wit tha last sample, they put tha beginning; this one, they put tha end, ROFL! My Rating: 4.4


05. “The Underdog (Mafia Music)”
>>> Everyone’s titles put tha original beat’s title somewhere in tha title; weird… Tha 1st verse’s real good for tha streetz; doin’ ya thang on dis beat! Tha hook’s pretty cool too wit how you’re makin’ a rendition of dis song! Tha 2nd verse’s definitely official too; you’re just like me: “underrated!” I like tha endin’ of tha verse wit tha “free”s and “R.I.P.”s! My Rating: 4.3


½time: So far, a 4.1 for tha average CD rating; nice job, Box!! Keep it up!!


06. “Top Notch” Feat. Jimi Jump
My boy Joe on tha beat and Jimi Jump on tha feature? Let’s hear dis… >>> Beat’s a lil’ dry for a start but sounds good wit tha Pimp C hook so you know this iz tight! You’re on tha 1st verse and tha rhymes are DEFINITELY official once again!! Jimi’s on tha 2nd verse and he always sounds anticipatin’ and cool on tha mic here fa me! Very consistent; y’all doin’ tha damn thang together!! You’re on tha 3rd verse and it sounds pretty cool here… My Rating: 4.6


07. “Best I Ever Had (Freestyle)”
Back to tha freestyles, lol… >>> Didn’t know that scary beat was in tha beginning for a second… Doin’ a REAL GR8 job here, ESPECIALLY wit tha “I’m like a battery…” part!! Ooh, a “BluBlack” quote wit you mentionin’ “Out Da Box;” good-ass shit!! Yup, “Kontinuous” and “continuous” here when you’re on tha mic!! My Rating: 4.2


08. “Where They Do That At (Freestyle)” Feat. Suge & One-i
>>> Sounds like a Young Jeezy beat; weird dat I just got a song wit this title… I know they ain’t tha same beats but as far as you so far, it sounds good wit how you deliverin’… Very good shit but now, a Suge dude on tha 2nd verse! Sounds pretty good ta team up once again! Startin’ ta get good @ 2:22 wit tha “kush!” Lookin’ forward ta hearin’ One-i too! I don’t like tha “anti-pill poppin’” part. I know it’s tha truth about makin’ a “stomach hurt” but wit dis music shit, I don’t like when people are anti- about certain things. For gay dances and Auto-Tune, yes, I wouldn’t mind an anti- on dat! One-i did his thang on tha 3rd verse; he’s ALWAYS on point at all times!! My Rating: 4.1


09. “Spread My Wings” Feat. Mouse On Tha Track & X-Fyle
Ooh, maybe I can put dis shit on my radio; good lookin’! >>> I knew this was familiar fa a second; I had tha bootleg of “Swagga Fresh Freddy”… X-Fyle iz on tha beat here. Tha hook so far sounds cool but tha “I Got Wings” song was way betta for a start! We got tha 1st verse here and it’s pretty catchy here on this beat from you, Box! Sounds like a pretty good song if you eva hear it in tha club. Mouse’s on tha 2nd verse here and it’s cool wit his flow once again. What will go on wit tha 3rd verse here? It’s cool fa what it iz; I like tha flow on this one too. Pretty cool song here as you guys always keep it interestin’! My Current Rating: 4.4


10. “Spread My Wings (Radio)” Feat. Mouse On Tha Track & X-Fyle
This makes it betta fa my radio show; thanx! See #9 fa tha review!


Overall: Although I thought it was gonna be aight/not that much for me wit tha freestyles, it DEFINITELY surpassed my expectations as tha freestyles were DEFINITELY what’s up and tha original tracks DEFINITELY played a GR8 part too!!
