Stayin’ on my grind, I’m startin’ today off wit Yung Blaze “Straight Outta 225”. Not sure if tha title’ll fit tha quality of this CD but for those readin’, Yung Blaze iz from Sorrento, LA. Start Time: 11:55 AM | End Time: 12:33 PM


Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings (if a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it) so any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. Intro
>>> “Highly anticipated?” Huh? I have a feelin’ it’ll be betta than tha previous ones I reviewed but no anticipation here! LMFAO? You called ME out on this, LOL?!? No less, wit an “Auto-Tune” thing, lol?!? LOL!! But, “Auto-Tune doesn’t help out;” I treat everyone tha SAME when they use it!! My Rating: N/A


02. “Trappin’ Season” Feat. Lil’ Threezy
>>> Thought I heard this already but at least I can hear you now… Where does Auto-Tune and this mix in wit tastes of music? I mean, there’s no A-Tune on this but I dunno where tha “trappin’” interest comes from. Tha 1st verse must be Lil’ Threezy and he sounds pretty good… WTF @ tha 2nd hook; sounds really off-beat? Okay, you’re on tha 2nd verse and I don’t get where you’re goin’ wit these hardcore rhymes without an attitude once again? Tha 3rd hook at least ain’t off-beat this time… WTF @ tha start to tha 3rd verse wit “in tha club wit my tool” or whateva; why must that be? WTF @ mentionin’ “T-Pain” wit “screwed and chopped;” what’s up wit dat? My Rating: 3.2


03. “Tricky Business”
>>> Beat sounds tight; this sounds pretty normal too… I just think tha lyrics just are wack so that’s what makes it sound not-so-good… Are you obsessed wit someone “fuckin’ wit you all night?” Why you gotta worry ‘bout other people; I don’t get it? Be original ‘cause that’s all that everyone talks about! Tha 2nd verse sounds like more braggin’… Why iz this almost five minutes long? Should’ve just ended afta two verses… Didn’t need ta hear a 3rd verse; what’s wit all these angry lyrics wit no anger? My Rating: 3.3


04. “Dis Is For You”
>>> Now this beat makes me think A-Tune’s on tha way… No, there’s none here? Surprised… Tha beat sounds like it’s takin’ you ova or somethin’… I still hate these long lengths, which make my ratings lower since I have ta sit here… I still don’t get your angry lyrics? Tha lyrics are sooo boring and wack on tha 2nd verse; can you rap about somethin’ else and make it catchy?? You hang wit “bloodz” ‘cause you callin’ someone a “blood?” Not a sayin’ ‘cause you even sayin’ tha n-word again! My Rating: 2.6


05. “I’mma Beast (Remix)”
>>> LOL, a stolen (as he’d say) Mod Productions beat dat I heard many times so I’m not gonna have interest although this iz just a remix; WTF @ tha length!!! I can kinda tolerate what you’re spittin’ here although it’s so typical it’s not even funny… Too bad people “notice dead people more when they’re dead,” smh… LOL @ tha “I get green like a frog;” givin’ that line a prop… Tha 3rd verse’s just soundin’ typical… “FrankieThaLuckyDog gon be sayin’, ‘Dis a hit!’;” lol? That’s respect, ya dig, but can be so random in a way, lol. There’s somethin’ about me dat’s great, lol? My Rating: 3.5


06. “Skit”
>>> Sounds like a freestyle instead so I’ll have ta rate it… Sounds like your lyricals from one of your songs. “I ain’t no drug dealer;” then, why do you “trap?” My Rating: 2.4


½time: Well, you made it to 3.0 so far for an average CD rating so at least you gettin’ up there…


07. “Gorgeous”
>>> Like I said before, I don’t APPROVE any A-Tune!! You THINK I’m waiting 4:45 to listen to this? Shit, no!! NOT MY GENERATION!!! *Stops @ :20!* My Rating: 1.0


08. “Dat Drama”
>>> Glad this iz normal; back to tha anger again… Tha hook can be a lil’ cool but someone else can come up wit dis… “I wanna die;” what kinda perspective iz dat? Pretty good song… My Rating: 3.7


09. “Menace To Society”
You had a CD of this title and this song didn’t make dat CD? >>> Hot beat start here! Okay, definitely on tha normal tip so you gettin’ some credit. “I don’t even care about ya kids;” why? “I sell knives fa fun;” what tha hell? “I just killed ya son and wife;” you said you’re real but dat doesn’t sound real at all… At least you “lettin’ yo pants sag” on tha 2nd verse; I can give you props fa dat too… My Rating: 4.0


10. “Love For You”
Looks like it gon be a skip… >>> I’ll listen for a few seconds and then, I’ll decide… Okay, I can stop this; tha verses don’t need A-Tune! *Stops @ :51!* My Rating: 1.0


11. “Money On My Mind”
Thought I heard this before? >>> Nope, it’s new; you have too many titles like dis… Tha beat sounds hot although this iz very typical for me…; I think tha hook’s pretty tight… I think tha rappin’ on tha 1st verse iz way too simple-soundin’… Tha 2nd verse sounded kinda catchy towards tha end… My Rating: 4.1


12. “Lonely At Da Top”
Tha title looks boring but I don’t think it’ll be like dat… >>> Tha lyrics sound like it was gonna have A-Tune on it or somethin’… Now, you’re “sorry” and shit? LOL, what’s up wit all tha “I used to…” shit in tha 2nd verse? Sounds like a ton of “I used to…”s… This ain’t exactly my kinda song so I can’t say much about it… My Rating: 2.8


13. Outro
LOL, thought it would be a song but let’s see if I get called out again, lol! >>> Sounds like a computer in tha beginning… Good thing you turnt into a “producer” so at least you get some props… My Rating: N/A


Overall: Well, so far, this iz your best effort when it comes ta your own music… Kinda was listenable so I’ll give it a lil’ bit of props although it failed to hit tha 3.0 mark on tha average CD rating…
