Finally gettin’ to my next review of tha day… Still keepin’ it in tha 2Clean Entertainment/Havenot Recordz perspective, up next iz Havenot Ridaz “Havenot Ridaz”; let’s see how y’all do!! Start Time: 4:49 PM | End Time: 6:15 PM


Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings (if a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it) so any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. Havenot Intro Feat. Tupac
LOL, what’s wit tha feature? >>> LOL @ Tupac’s start; how outta nowhere. Tha beat’s pretty cool and tha Captain’s doin’ tha damn thang here on this “intro”!! Still, what’s wit tha quiet background when he says, “…run this muthafucka!” ROFL @ tha Tupac ending!! My Rating: N/A


02. “Havenot Ridaz”
Self-titled song here? What do we got… >>> I dunno; kinda jackin’ Tupac here in my opinion. Well, tha hook and beat makes me not wanna even comment ‘cause of tha jackin’. But, at least tha 3rd verse iz catchin’ my attention a lil’ bit… Not bad on all tha verses themselves, as they’re definitely street. However, it would’ve been betta if it was original (like on tha last CD I peeped out)! My Rating: 2.9


03. “Havenot Party”
LOL, all these titles are all “Havenot” here, lol! What’ll this be like? >>> Tha hook sounds pretty good… Tha 1st verse’s jammin’ on this beat and iz straight for me. Tha 2nd verse has a consistent flow goin’ on here; good shit, ya heard me? Tha 3rd verse gives me a good 90’s feel wit how it’s bein’ presented on this track; good shit… My Rating: 4.0


04. “Unfortunates & Havenots”
What’s this “an” in tha title? Doesn’t look like it fits or somethin’… Anyway, anotha “Havenot” title, lol! >>> Tha production iz decent here… Sounds like pretty good hood shit in tha 1st verse; keep tha motivation up! LOL @ tha hook; I like tha screwed voice! Oh, so tha “an” iz really an “and;” I see… Tha 2nd verse almost sounds like Jim Jones… Sounds like some good gangsta shit… I’m gonna put “s”es in tha title ‘cause that’s what tha hook says… Tha 3rd verse’s pretty good too… LOL @ tha cut-off-soundin’ endin’… My Rating: 4.3


05. “Back Of Tha Club”
LOL @ this title. Also, no Havenot shit? >>> Real quiet start wit some sound effect for 20 seconds in tha intro… Tha Captain iz on tha hook here and tha shit’s real catchy!! I wonder what dat’s like ta “have a click wit you”? He’s even on tha 1st verse here and he’s doin’ tha damn thang to tha fullest!! Other than tha hook, tha beat iz extremely dry and quiet wit nothin’ goin’ on… LOL, iz it me or tha whole world drinks or somethin’, lol? Pretty funny… Tha 2nd verse’s soundin’ aight on this plain beat… Tha 3rd verse’s pretty good; nothin’ much ta say… My Rating: 4.6


06. “Our Pockets Haveknot”
“Havenot” wit a “k” this time, lol! How will this turn out? >>> Wow, tha Captain came outta nowhere on tha hook, deliverin’ dat catchy-ass shit to tha fullest!! No wonder y’all name; I found out in this hook ‘cause of tha “pockets!” Sounds like Erk on tha 1st verse? Soundin’ good here… Tha Captain’s on tha 2nd verse and he said, “2005;” iz this song that old? He’s ALWAYS interestin’ ta hear on tha mic so thumbs up fa contributin’!! Tha 3rd verse iz singin’; okay… This was pretty catchy for a song right chea! My Rating: 4.2


07. “Say & Do Wat U Want”
Looks like an attitude iz in play; lookin’ forward ta hearin’! >>> Okay, tha beat’s pretty serious here and so iz tha voice on tha hook!! Tha Captain’s on tha 1st verse and it’s pretty good wit what he’s deliverin’! I hope tha dude on tha hook spits a verse; he’d prolly be REAL TIGHT wit it!! Shit, yea!! My wish came true ‘cause he iz on tha 2nd verse!! He did tha damn thang right here, ya heard me? Damn, thought there’d be anotha verse… My Rating: 4.4


08. “Wanna See Me Fall”
Tha haterz are out outta nowhere!! >>> Good beat here and nice intro from tha Captain! Tha 1st verse has good rappin’ here; good shit bein’ spit!! Tha 2nd verse iz also soundin’ pretty good here… Tha 3rd verse’s doin’ a nice job here! It’s all about tha voice ta hold thangz down to tha fullest!! Ooh, tha Captain came through in tha 2nd ½ of tha 3rd verse; good shit from him… My Rating: 4.2


09. “Plex”
I dunno ‘bout dis… >>> Glad this ain’t like dat “Flex” song; sounds like a good intro wit tha Captain on it! Tha 1st verse’s focused; good job wit tha focused rappin’, ya dig? Dat Captain’s REALLY holdin’ down tha hook and tha title!! Tha 2nd verse also sounds focused wit tha good rhymes; thumbs up ta this hood shit!! Here’s tha 3rd verse from tha Captain, feelin’ good wit everything he’s got… My Rating: 4.3

10. “Freakin’ 2nite”
How will this go? >>> Sounds catchy wit tha Captain in tha beginning; ROFL! I didn’t expect this ta be tha hook; I thought it was gonna be tha 1st verse or somethin’… Okay, now, tha 1st verse iz here and it’s already on an explicit tip! Tha 2nd verse so far iz aight… Tha Captain iz on tha 3rd verse and he’s doin’ his thang wit spicin’ this joint up, makin’ it more catchy! My Rating: 4.1


11. “Ayo, Come Fuck Wit Yo Boy”
I like this title and it has a lotta words, lol. Let’s see how good it iz… >>> Good beat although a lil’ plain… I like how tha Captain holds down anotha hook once again!! Tha Captain’s on tha 1st verse and he’s all about grindin’… Tha 2nd verse’s soundin’ good…; gotta keep it movin’ here! Tha 3rd verse has some gangsta shit ta offer; good job once again!! My Rating: 4.3


12. “Gotta Survive”
What’ll this sound like? >>> Not really my kinda song but because it has a 90’s vibe to it, I think it’s pretty catchy wit tha singin’ in tha hook and tha whole 90’s feel to it! Tha Captain’s kinda calm on tha 1st verse here… Tha 2nd verse sounds kinda calm too but I’m likin’ some of tha lyrics… Tha 3rd verse has some good rhymes ta flow wit dis joint… My Rating: 4.0


13. “In Tha Studio” (Erk)
Keep ‘em comin’! >>> Why tha hell does it sound like a fake Pac in tha 1st verse? Damn, tha whole song iz tha fake Pac? Original Rating: 1.1
EDIT: If I heard in error, I’ll think about revisin’ anything… Okay, I gon re-review this ‘cause this iz Erk and it’s prolly from tha 90’s… My bad for any errors I made when previously reviewin’ it… Okay, tha 1st verse sounds pretty good but yea, I’m still not a fan of tha near-Pac sound… Tha hook’s not bad; kinda simple but it proves good… Tha 2nd verse ain’t dat bad here… Tha 3rd verse sounds aight fa me… My Rating: 3.4


14. “Free Me” (Erk)
>>> Why does this sound like Pac too? This shouldn’t be “rate”-type music… Oh, neva mind, this iz Erk; I recognized tha title… Okay, not too bad since he said his songs were years and years old… Tha 1st verse’s pretty strong fa what it iz and tha hook’s a beg ta get Erk outta jail; I feel dat! I just wrote him for tha 2nd time so we’ll see what’s up. I’m glad I’m tha “first person ta write” him! Tha 2nd verse’s REAL tight when it comes ta tha content!! Tha 3rd verse sounds REAL WILD wit tha content; DEFINITELY HOT shit!!! Damn, this joint’s 5:43; pretty long… My Rating: 4.7


15. “In Tha Kitchen”
I think this was in tha folder on tha last CD I reviewed. But, it didn’t load and it wasn’t on tha DatPiff player. Now, I’m finally hearin’ it and I’m lookin’ forward!! >>> Okay, pretty cool hook but tha beat’s pretty plain… Not bad on tha 1st verse here; I expect a lil’ betta fa a title like dis… Tha 2nd verse sounds like a lotta representation; where are tha drug lines? Okay, tha 3rd verse iz betta here; I’m likin’ tha shit goin’ on! My Rating: 4.2


16. “Tha Girls Love Me”
>>> Although a nice rhythm ta dance to, I think it sounds like more of a jacked quote or somethin’… Tha verses sound like a jacked Pac; iz this Erk again? Remember: I feel dat my anticipation iz kinda low when I hear a sound like dis, no offense… My Rating: 3.6


17. “On Our Ride”
What could this be? >>> LOL @ tha “chicken” people! Tha hook iz hella catchy here; this iz DEFINITELY a jam!! Tha verses are cool here; lol @ tha “hard like a boxin’ match” line! Tha 3rd verse has a lil’ bit of a singin’-rappin’-type vocalization here… LOL, a 4th verse came outta nowhere and contributed pretty good! My Rating: 4.4


18. “Move Around”
Let’s see what dis gon be like… >>> Ooh, a beat tag and tha Captain’s doin’ tha damn thang on tha hook!! Wow, that was just tha beginning; tha real hook iz DEFINITELY what’s up!!! Tha 1st verse from tha Captain’s just consistent at all times, ya dig!! Huh? What happened to tha tight hook? It’s just a decent hook now on tha 2nd hook… Tha 2nd verse sounds pretty good on this joint too; nice lil’ song here… Tha 3rd verse iz pretty nice too… My Rating: 4.5


19. “Real Like Me”
Oh, this joint made it back onto here; good shit! Tha Captain’s holdin’ down tha hook in a REAL GOOD way; VERY, VERY catchy!!! Tha 1st verse’s soundin’ good and very catchy wit how tha Captain delivers it, ya dig!! Tha 2nd verse’s soundin’ pretty good here wit tha “real” shit and catchy rhymes! Tha 3rd verse sounds like someone dat would be from Texas or somethin’, lol… Catchy rhymin’ ta where I used ta like all kinds of Rap back in tha day; that’s what it reminds me of! My Current Rating: 4.7


Overall: Did a nice job on here once again, y’all!! Keep tha HOT SHIT comin’ along and keep grindin’!! All y’all are REAL GR8, especially tha Captain!! FREE ERK!!!!!
