Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings (if a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it) so any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. 01. “Show Must Go On”
Let’s see how you do wit this mixtape fa me… >>> Anticipatin’ beat start… Yea, this beat’s DEFINITELY official; sounds like an 80’s beat sample… Also 80’s, sounds like Wham!/George Michael on tha sample here, which iz a big plus fa this kinda shit… Almost sounds like a shout out list for tha intro but ‘round 1:09, tha rappin’s finally here! Pretty kick-ass wit tha rhymes here!! Now, I can get you on my radio show ‘cause this shit sounds pretty tight and that’s what I’m about! Didn’t expect dis ta be a whole verse although it iz an intro track… Very consistent wit all tha shit you spittin’ here; bringin’ your A-game!! My Rating: 4.6


02. “Good Life” Feat. Mannie Fresh
Let’s see this one… >>> Wit Mannie Fresh in tha beginning, it reminds me of if he produced this too… Pretty cool hook here and tha quality sounds good; glad this ain’t depressin’ or anything! Sounds like you’re comin’ through cool on tha 1st verse wit your realness! Tha 2nd verse still sounds catchy wit tha kick-ass beat sounds!! LOL, are you cool wit my boy Dirty Harry from Napoleonville? I heard a, “bwoy,” right when tha 3rd verse started and Dirty Harry’s known fa makin’ dat catchy… Pretty good verse once again; glad you bringin’ this hot quality fa tha N.O.! My Rating: 4.2


03. “Doin’ My Thang” Feat. Stevie Drumma & Mannie Fresh
>>> Let’s see what’s good wit Stevie Drumma on tha beat… Tha hook sounds like I heard it before? Not sure when or where but it’s catchy; feelin’ tha beat here wit tha vibe! So far, only three jointz in, this CD has a GR8 amount of rhythm in tha songs!! Tha 1st verse sounds cool; sounded like a feature “doin’ they thang!” Keepin’ it goin’, here’s tha CONSISTENT tightness of you on tha 2nd verse here!! LOL, Stevie Drumma even hopped onto tha track (only time I noticed him was on dat “Sit Still” joint)! Sorry dat I don’t know tha 1st feature but if I see that person somewhere, then I’ll add him to tha list… Glad you got Drumma on tha mic, Show! LMAO, wit 28 seconds left, this joint ain’t ova yet ‘cause Mannie Fresh’s rappin’ on tha 4th verse; pretty tight too!! My Rating: 4.4


04. “One Minute Workout”
A freestyle track? >>> Damn, you have a GR8 ear for beats, N.O. style!! None of that borin’ shit here; just strictly tight shit!! Of course, you have tha mic on lock here wit all tha consistent rhymin’!! My Rating: 4.3


05. “Like A Gypsy”
I think you have an extra “s” in tha title; it’s “gypsy,” not “gyspsy.” Anyway, let’s keep it goin’!! >>> More Stevie Drumma shit on tha beat here! Usually, I’d think tha 1st ½ of tha hook’s pretty scary wit tha vocals but because this sounds like some “gypsy/Aladdin”-type shit on tha beat, I think I’m definitely feelin’ it! It’s only 2:35 anyway so I can tolerate it… A short 1st verse from you and it sounds like you’re in tha “gypsy” mode here, lol. Tha 2nd verse may sound cool but some of tha shit (e.g., tha “Swag Surfin’” song quote) kinda bores me. But, you did ya thang fa this quick joint… My Rating: 3.9


06. “The Way I Do”
Let’s see this long song… >>> Oh, I’m feelin’ this beat start! Tha hook sounds like you’re bringin’ anotha cool style to tha mic! Tha 1st verse iz dat GR8 N.O. sound fa tha streetz here; ERR-BODY must luv your music to tha fullest!! Tha 2nd verse’s also showin’ luv ta those dat luv dat “real music;” GR8 quality here, Show!! I feel cool ta hear you when tha “kush burn” in tha hook, ya dig! VERY “green” start to tha 3rd verse, lol; you KNOW I keep it “green” to tha fullest! My grandma (who’s house I’m stayin’ at right now) had a shampoo bottle and it had its last drop in it. I didn’t tell her to get a new bottle right away; I used tha last lil’ drop for two months! You KNOW I make people save their dollaz!! Nice job on tha verse too; glad you keepin’ this shit hot! My Rating: 4.4


07. “I Made It”
>>> Uh oh, anotha Stevie Drumma beat!! Sounds like anotha catchy hook! At first when I hear some of these songs, I think they gon be a touch on tha Pop side. But, ALL these jointz be impressin’ me wit catchy sounds and vibes!! Sounds like you’re really bringin’ some real, gutta shit in tha 1st verse; good shit!! Tha 2nd verse has you spittin’ catchy rhymes here; good shit! Tha “-head-shit” shit ‘round 2:20 sounds pretty tight; I like how you did it twice in a row! My Rating: 4.0


08. “Hustle, Grind” Feat. Mannie Fresh
I like a title like this so you know I gon feel it! >>> Anotha “Stevie Drumma” production, I see? Tha last beat sounded a lil’ more catchier but this song sounds a lil’ betta fa me; really likin’ dat hook wit tha beat! LOL @ tha money “tryin’ ta tackle you;” catchy line! LOL, short-ass 1st verse? I guess you tryna fit three wit a good outro… Tha 2nd verse sounds real tight here!! You started it off REAL GR8, ya dig!! LOL, here comes Mannie Fresh on tha 3rd verse! Pretty good; an okay lil’ feature although I think you would’ve been betta, Show. My Rating: 4.3


09. “Betta Have My Money” Feat. Mannie Fresh
Let’s see dis title! >>> Okay, this iz a lil’ different wit tha soundin’ fa me for a start; this iz like Pop-Rap for tha start… Sounds like Big Boi on tha hook? Don’t know who it iz but it breezed by… You’re on tha 2nd ½ of tha hook and I keep thinkin’ it’s a verse… LOL, a Mannie Fresh 1st verse here? He did a “back 2 back” verse thing here, lol. LOL, a lot’s goin’ on in tha 2nd verse here; Mannie Fresh said, “bruh,” outta nowhere too. I don’t know who tha Big Boi-soundin’ dude iz but this iz pretty catchy and all ova tha place at tha same time. My Rating: 3.8


½time: So far, it’s DEFINITELY on ‘n’ poppin’ for ya, Show!! You have a NICE 4.2 average CD rating so far for an N.O. CD/mixtape; that’s DEFINITELY what’s up!!


10. “iPhone Text” Feat. Stevie Drumma
This looks Popish on tha title now; hope I didn’t jynx it from when I called tha last song “Pop-Rap”… >>> Not feelin’ this beat start; I don’t know how much it’ll turn out ta be… Scary start to tha hook… I didn’t even realize it was sayin’ tha title at first, lol… LMAO, randomly (‘cause tha features aren’t on tha mp3 info), Stevie Drumma’s on tha 1st verse wit his funny-ass vocals! At least he’s givin’ me interest in this Pop-Rap song! Tha 2nd verse was tha singer…; no comment from me. You’re on tha 3rd verse wit all your textin’, which REALLY reminds me of Tina Ann’s “LOL (Miss Skinny Jeans)” joint from last year wit all tha textin’ styles, lol (lol)! My Rating: 3.4


11. “Baggage”
I luv tha “Baggage” TV show on GSN right now ‘cause it’s real interestin’ when it comes ta relationships… Now, let’s see what kinda “baggage” you bringin’ here… >>> Tha beat’s good/decent fa me; I like tha instruments… Sounds like you’re really doin’ a nice job here wit tha rappin’! LOL, tha hook’s pretty tight; I like tha rhymin’, includin’ tha title’s part! Tha 2nd verse sounds like you’re keepin’ tha topic on ‘n’ poppin’ here… Tha 3rd verse’s straight; catchy lil’ song here… LOL @ tha cold endin’… My Rating: 4.1


12. “Red Writing”
Like this title; what’ll it bring? >>> Hot lil’ sample for tha beat start! Your production’s DEFINITELY on point here! Real shit goin’ on here in tha 1st verse; likin’ it ‘cause tha production’s hot ta go wit it and nothin’ depressin’ at all! Tha 2nd verse’s good also wit how you just doin’ ya thang wit this song! My Rating: 4.2


13. “Mind Of A D-Boy”
This iz 5.5 minutes long; let’s see how good it iz… >>> Slow, Rock-type start here but tha start to tha 1st verse sounds pretty tight wit tha “cocaine!” You did ya thang deliverin’ tha 1st verse to tha fullest! Tha hook’s good; why iz there “snitches?” Sounds like a lot goin’ on in tha 2nd verse… Tha 3rd verse has a lot goin’ on but this iz slowly boring me a lil’… LMAO, it just cut off at tha end! My Rating: 3.6


14. “My Face”
>>> Okay beat start; sounds like you’d rap good on it! Yea, you definitely have a lot goin’ on in tha 1st verse, representin’ fa yourself to tha fullest! Tha hook’s cool; I think it sounds catchy, especially tha “black smoke” shit. Tha 2nd verse’s comin’ through wit some mo hot shit! Now dat I’m hearin’ tha hook for tha 2nd time, it just sounds like it goes REAL hard, ya dig!! More catchy shit comin’ outta tha 3rd verse here too… My Rating: 4.4


15. “Hustle, Grind, Clubbin’”
LOL, iz this tha same song as “Hustle, Grind”? >>> Sounds different wit tha Stevie Drumma production tag in tha beginning… This iz pretty cool for a start; let’s see which one I like betta… Tha 1st verse’s pretty cool, ya dig… Tha 2nd verse iz someone on tha feature and they sound pretty good too; havin’ a good time here wit this joint… Sounds like someone else iz on tha 3rd verse and they sound good fa this Rap shit; representin’ to tha fullest! I liked tha 1st version betta but this iz still cool; wish I knew who was featured… My Rating: 4.1


16. “Till The Edge Of Death”
Let’s hear what’s good wit this… >>> Wow, pretty TIGHT wit tha attitude and vocals on tha hook here!!! Wonder who dat dude iz? They’re on tha 1st verse and it sounds cool wit tha mixin’; iz this really somethin’ mixed, lol? Now, it sounds like you, lol? Good, catchy rhymes from you before tha 3rd hook comes on… LOL, it sounds like tha Big Boi dude on tha final verse; almost sounded like some exciting talkin’ or somethin’ in tha beginning of tha verse, lol! My Rating: 4.5


17. “All Around The Globe”
Let’s see this one… >>> Tha production sounds familiar and this iz pretty good for a start wit tha catchiness… Long hook, lol? Not bad on tha 1st verse from you; you sound like you’re always focused and gainin’ somethin’! Sounds like John Legend or somethin’ on tha song? Not bad wit tha rest of tha song… Why iz there like 40 seconds of silence at tha end? My Rating: 3.5


18. “I Ain’t Shit”
A pretty tight title ta end thangz; let’s see what we got… >>> Ooh, “roll tha weed up” fa a start here on tha 1st verse! Tha hook’s pretty cool fa what it iz; you have a good attitude here. Tha 2nd verse sounds like you just keepin’ it movin’… You even doin’ ya thang on tha 3rd verse here; good “shit!” My Rating: 4.1


Overall: You kept it REAL CONSISTENT throughout tha whole CD, my boy!! Thumbs up fa makin’ a REAL HOT mixtape and comin’ through wit FIYA production as well as me givin’ props to tha features too…
