FrankieThaLuckyDog back in tha buildin’ and outta class for tha day, ya dig. As mentioned in tha previous review, I have anotha CD from Junie June to review. This one iz The Take Off. By lookin’ at a bunch of tha tracks (‘cause tha tracklisting in tha mp3 folder, on DatPiff AND tha track #’s on tha mp3 info are all fuckin’ different), it looks like we got a bunch of repeats… Anyway, here goes my review fa Junie June The Take Off! Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0. Each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself with my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings (if a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it) so any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. “I’ma Dogg”
And I heard this one too earlier today. Here’s what I had ta say about it: LOL, goin’ back a lil’ wit tha J-Kwon “Hood Hop” beat! Tha beat fits perfectly wit your title/subject since it sounds like barkin’ in tha hook! REALLY feelin’ how tha hook sounds wit tha 1st (“I’ma dogg”) and 2nd ½ (“you ain’t fuckin’ wit me”)’s of tha hook! Tha 1st verse iz here and you’re REALLY spittin’ sum rapid-fiya shit right here!! REAL nuts on tha mic right now!!! Tha 2nd verse iz here and no wonder why Jazmine Sullivan was “scared of lions and tigers and bears!” That’s ‘cause you’re “not a lion, not a tiger, not a bear; you’re a dog!” Good shit right here!! Gangsta/gutta shit bein’ spit on tha 2nd verse here; you REALLY doin’ it big here for yaself!! LOL @ tha start to tha 3rd verse: “I’m a fuckin’ dogg, I hit you wit a fuckin’ pebble!” I have ta laugh real quick about that line and tha “pebble:” Anyway, tha verse was RAW overall; you keep up tha gr8 work here!!! My Current Rating: 4.4


02. “I B On My Grind”
This one too I heard and I liked it as well! As said previously: Yes, anotha new beat! Glad you at least have original production ‘cause that’s tha shit that gets onto my radio show! I like how tha beat sounds and tha hook iz pretty good; kinda typical though… Sounded like it took fa’eva for tha 1st verse ta come up… Sounds like more on a mature level wit tha rappin’ here wit tha gangsta shit. I guess ‘cause this song iz for tha streetz that you have a more regular voice. Tha 2nd verse sounds pretty good; you’re pretty energetic here on tha mic! No wonder why Jimmy likes you! Glad you got “June” in your name ‘cause I’m born in June! That’s right: June 21, ya dig! Tha BEST day of tha year ‘cause it’s Summer!! Nice job on tha 2nd verse wit this shit too! My Current Rating: 4.2


03. “Gangsta Nigga”
I have a feelin’ this’ll be a jacked beat; let’s see what you got ta offer on this one! >>> This prolly original ‘cause tha beat sounds like it’s a Louisiana sound. Sounds like tha quality on tha voices are kinda too high. Tha hook iz pretty cool though. You got some gutta rhymes in tha 1st verse; a lot sound kinda random. If everything iz true here, then you got my props on what you’re deliverin’. WTF @ tha quality at 2:05 for tha 2nd verse? It almost felt like tha speakers were comin’ out their sockets, lol! And why was it so short? Good shit though overall. My Rating: 4.0


04. “Gotta Get This Money”
How will you get it though? >>> LOL @ tha really loud quality once again for tha beginning! Tha beat iz good (sounds like it’s original again) and do you really got “money on tha kitchen table, on tha floor, in tha hallway, in tha bedroom, on tha roof, and down tha driveway?” Oh, and why not tha bathroom? Don’t some of y’all “shit money out?” Sounds like you have an obsession fa money here on tha 1st verse. I like hearin’ tha hook ‘cause I can picture somebody ACTUALLY havin’ money everywhere, lol. How about rare money? Do you like rare money? I have a $5 bill from 1963 that I got this year. Would you like that? Tha 2nd verse was extremely short so I don’t even know what I would say about it… I guess keep lovin’, havin’ sex wit and ERR-THANG wit money if that’s how you feel, ya dig, lol! LOL @ your “money, money” acapella ending! What if you didn’t have money? My Rating: 4.3


05. “Anything For You”
LOL, “anything” iz a compound word so you don’t have ta make it “anyThing,” lol! I don’t know how I would feel when I would hear this one so lemme get it ova wit and see… >>> LOL, a 90’s Jay-Z beat here wit tha kids in tha chorus. I’m surprised DatPiff didn’t take it out tha folder. Now, you’re really obsessed wit gurlz here in tha 1st verse. How serious are you for tha coochie? LOL @ tha singin’ on tha 2nd verse… Are you inside her right now? You felt good though makin’ this song so that’s a plus. My Rating: 3.7


06. “Stunt Hard”
LOL, a repeat! It’s like a Drake and/or Wayne song or somethin’. Kinda gay wit tha soundin’ of tha hook but let’s see what you got wit tha 1st verse… “Dirty like a mudfucka!” LOL, good shit! You still comin’ through raw on this song; you sound like Weezy on this one. Your voice increased at 1:11; glad ta hear your strong emotions!! Neva mind, I rememba: I heard this beat on Lil’ Smoov (outta Crowley, LA)’s Swagged Out and Swagged Out: Reloaded mixtapes. That’s where I heard this and his version was pretty good. Tha 2nd verse sounds like you’ll be a future legend wit dat voice. Nearly reminds me of like a Pimp C 1990’s voice. Nice job wit tha rappin’ and all dat; keep it comin’! My Current Rating: 3.9


07. “Keep That Tool”
How true will this song be? You wanna go REAL gangsta on it? To pass tha test: Tha beat has ta be original! >>> Aight, sounds like you passed tha test wit tha original soundin’ beat here. Sounds like someone iz singin’ on tha hook? How come you don’t source tha featured people? You can’t be selfish now, lol! What if they were betta than you? Anyway, hearin’ tha 1st verse and it slowly started off without talkin’ about tha topic. Somewhere towards tha end, I heard more of tha topic of tha title. Sounds okay fa what it iz. Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and you said, “chopper?” Say, “choppa,” aight? Tha vocals sound like they have good quality and tha verse itself was aight. So, “everyday, you keep a 9mm?” What’s that like? My Rating: 3.8


08. “Make It Rain”
LOL @ tha ABC order again! LOL, tha 2009 version a.k.a. Twista and that gurl on tha hook wit “Wetter;” what will you do on this beat? I’m surprised DatPiff kept it in tha folder ‘cause they take out jacked beat samples. Well, tha 1st verse iz kinda weird for me. I mean, I know you’re soundin’ like you’re in luv here but I don’t know… I think it’s gettin’ a lil’ betta while I’m typin’ my review for it right now. You got a good slow flow here… It sounds okay also on tha 2nd verse; glad you got some rough rhymes for tha females. How old are you ta know all about this shit? My Current Rating: 3.6


09. “I’m Gud”
LOL, and anotha one! Guess you feel “gud” fa this one! Kinda on a mellow start here; not sure how much I’ll like it. Tha hook came first? Kinda on tha soft side but you got rawer rhymes. I like how it echoed durin’ tha near-beginning of tha 1st verse! You “got everything someone wants” (you mentioned “weed, drank, cars, pillz, choppers,” etc.)? Iz this true? Can I see some pics of err-thang? You KNOW if I had shit, I would show pics of it ‘cause I’m true wit myself! Tha 2nd verse still consists of you and what you got. Around tha 3rd verse (if you wanna call it that), it sounds like a WHOLE lotta random shit goin’ on here, lol. My Current Rating: 3.7


½time: Soundin’ good still. I wanna hear more newer songs from you so let’s see what you gon present within tha next nine songs! Tha average CD rating iz currently a 4.0.


10. “Gud Stuff”
LOL, consistency, huh? You LIKE it “gud,” huh? LOL, let’s see what you got here… >>> LOL!! You randomly picked tha “Feel It In The Air” beat! Originally depressin’, you sound like you’re havin’ a good time on it, lol! Glad it’s a “purp” anthem!! Glad it also “slows down time;” thanx for tha fact! You wanna marry “purple” too? Well, Junie June & Mary Jane, I pronounce you man AND wife! Junie, you may kiss tha KUSH!! LOL, good 1st verse by tha way! You got yo “eyes to tha flo” on tha 2nd verse wit all tha purp you luv! You should hit up Butla outta G-Lane in BR; he LUVS ta smoke! Ooh, a 3rd verse fa here!! Goin’ “to tha weedman house here;” thumbs up ta you! How you get access ta so much purp so frequently? Anyway, I’m REAL glad you turned a depressin’ song into a smoke/calm song! My Rating: 4.5


11. “I’ma Ruffian”
LOL, this one again!! You were entertainin’ on this one too!! Okay, it (tha title) means you’re an “outlaw;” good shit here. Tha beat iz pretty good for a start and tha hook sounds good. Glad you “go so hard” wit this Rap shit. LOL @ tha “in ya gurl draws” part! Gotta luv how you sound on this shit!! ROFL @ tha “hit you wit tha chopper in yo fuckin’ nose” part before tha 1:00 mark! Just how you sound iz VERY entertainin’ here!! Hopefully, everything you’re spittin’ iz true! I must ask ‘cause you’re young. DEFINITELY feelin’ tha funny vocals!! I would’ve luved ta put this on my radio show recently but I gotta wait ‘til January 23, 2010 when I go back on tha air. My bad fa delayin’ all these reviewz I had ta do but college comes first! Nice cold ending to this too! My Current Rating: 4.3


12. “I Want U”
Hmm… Not sure what ta say; lemme hear. >>> Whateva this jacked beat song was, I wasn’t too big about it. I guess ‘cause it sounds like lil’ kiddie music in tha beginning. I couldn’t even find tha 1st verse ‘cause tha okay hook and a lil’ betta 1st verse sounded like they blended in together. You luv your females! How successful are you wit makin’ relationships? Iz it easy for you ta engage in a relationship or do you get ignored at times? Tha 2nd verse flowed wit tha song itself. And, you’re givin’ access to tha gurl ta “ride you like a horse” or like a coupla otha animals. That’s good, you’re really dedicated! My Rating: 3.5


13. “My Block”
Lemme hear you talk about it! >>> This beat sounds a lil’ familiar, more on tha Young Dro soundin’ in tha beginning (like “Rubberband Banks” wit those sound effects). Even you in tha beginning sounds like Dro… Okay, here’s tha hook and it on some hood shit. Glad your “block retarded,” ya dig! How can you mix “praisin’ tha man” wit “sprayin’ them AK’s?” Ain’t dat an extreme or somethin’? Why does err-body luv ta shoot and all dat? I neva touched a gun and I’m sure I’ll have a “phobia” for it! My Rating: 3.7


14. “BuckTown”
I guess tha capital “T” will be acceptable wit this title ‘cause you’re callin’ it tha name of a “town.” Let’s see what you got on this one! >>> LOL @ tha “Satisfy You” beat from a decade ago! You’re REAL random wit it and that’s a plus at times! Sounds like your “BuckTown” iz real where it iz. Oh, you’re REALLY from “225/Jigga City?” I didn’t know where you were from so that’s DEFINITELY a plus!! I like tha “jig” references; good 1st verse. Tha hook sounds pretty good fa what it iz once again, keepin’ it street. Anotha real short (unda two minute) length? I don’t know ‘bout dat but you must LUV ta be street in tha 2nd verse wit all tha shit you live wit, lol! My Rating: 4.1


15. “I Got So Many”
… Okay… You changed tha title, that’s all, lol! Thumbs DOWN to that gay “Boi” song or whateva it iz that sounds like “A Milli;” boo boo, BOO!! You’ll prolly do ya thang on this… Soundin’ good wit tha flow and all dat. LOL, instead of saggin’ your pants, you got your “pants higher…;” lol… Great job wit tha rappin’ but tha beat gives it a minus! Durin’ tha like 1:30 – 2:05 mark, it sounds like you really reppin’ for your street, your boyz and anything you want. I like how you referred ta your “weed” and all dat good shit around tha 2:20 mark, ya dig! CRAZY voice right here!!! I won’t even deduct that much ‘cause of how GR8 you come through on this shit!!! Glad you ALSO “got tha jigga in your mouth!” <- To add: It’s a gr8 beat ta rap over though so that’s why (once again) tha rating iz good. Plus, you did it BIG wit how you sounded on it! My Current Rating: 4.0


16. “Push It (Freestyle)”
You named it “Freestyle 2” on your folder; you should name ‘em betta! That’s why I make my reviewz look nice and good! Let’s see what we got here… I knew it was gonna be tha Rick Ross beat. Tha quality on your vocals iz a lil’ messed up/kinda on tha “a lil’ too high” level. This iz “Push It,” and you’re REALLY about your fuckin’ on tha 1st verse, lol! A title/song like this would be about gettin’ money, right? So, it’s bitches ova money? I’m a lil’ confused, lol? You sound a lil’ raw on tha 2nd verse; good job. Your cut offs on tha beats are way too cold; fix tha endings. My Rating: 3.6


17. “Fly Shit”
Here goes anotha song from you; hope you do a GR8 job! >>> Sounds like it’s either jacked or catchy for tha beat start. Let’s see what you add to it… Almost thought it was Weezy in tha beginning. You sound like you’re just too rough on tha 1st verse wit everything you’re rappin’ about! Do you let people breathe when you talk to them? Luv your guns, huh? How come? This iz startin’ ta sound random after 2:15… Nice ending lines though wit tha “all we do iz smoke weed, pop pillz and get retarded” line! My Rating: 3.5


18. “Freestyle”
What will this turn into? >>> LOL, what’s up wit tha beat intro? Sounds cool but what could this be? Tha freestyle starts wit some fuckin’ and them some fuckin’ killin’, lol! This iz startin’ ta get interestin’ wit tha “window” part at about tha :42 mark. I like how tha beat sounds wit your consistent flow! Tha 2nd verse sounds cool wit tha flow. So now, iz it bitches ova Rap? This iz a “freestyle” and it’s a lot about gurlz, lol. WTF @ tha beat bein’ pasted at 2:45? Why’d you make that so noticeable? Now, tha 3rd verse iz more on tha gutta shit since you’re talkin’ about “leakin’” (I think that’s what you said; or “bleedin’”). Where am I on this? I got lost fa a second, lol… I think tha 4th verse? Sounds like you keepin’ this shit up wit whateva you’re spittin’ about. You put a lotta random shit on this and let tha beat end pretty good wit tha pumpin’ sounds. What’s up wit tha ending? Even ended it wit a “gettin’ more pussy than a tampon” line and it cut off when tha otha dude on it was talkin’; what’s up wit dat? My Rating: 3.7


Overall: It only took me 54 minutes ta review this ‘cause I didn’t play tha seven songs that repeated on here… Anyway, it was cool ta review your songs and shit. However, I thought you were gonna entertain me more like you did wit tha “Club Fight” song (which didn’t appear on this mixtape) from tha last mixtape? Well, keep at this Rap shit, howeva old you are!
