Here comes anotha review from ya boy FrankieThaLuckyDog!! Up next, which I’m goin’ ta review consistently wit tha next review, iz for IL Duce. I think he friend requested me a while ago; not sure… Mod Productions let me know more about what he released recently so now, I finally gon review his previous mixtape, Feed Me Rappers, Feed Me Beats Vol. 1. And now, here goes my review fa IL Duce Feed Me Rappers, Feed Me Beats Vol. 1! Start Time: 4:30 PM | End Time: 5:41 PM


Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings (if a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it) so any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. “Intro”
We got a 5:00 intro here! I wonder what this gon be about…! >>> We got a “Make Tha Trap Say Aye” beat here. It should sound good here… DJ PK1 sounded pretty good on tha intro and now, you’re in tha intro here. Glad you gave a shout out ta Mod Productions! Tha 1st verse iz here and it went more to a Louisiana styled beat! I recognize this verse here as I heard it on Mod Productions’ latest mixtape, It’s Whateva Vol. 1 wit tha “lottery” line. Here’s what I said about dat line: You sound gr8 on this shit once again and already goes ta show tha world dat you’re tha shit! Ooh, a DEFINITE ear-catcher fa me wit tha “I ‘bout ta hit tha lottery. Not wit tha tickets but wit tha sound of me” line (or somethin’ like dat). REAL, REAL TIGHT right there, ya dig!! Afta tha 1st verse, tha beat changed to “Ay Bay Bay” in tha 2nd verse. Tha beginning of it sounded REAL GR8 wit tha REAL FAST rappin’!! Tha rhymes are DEFINITELY watz up here!! REAL GLAD you randomly discovered me and friend requested me!! That’s DEFINITELY a good look!!! What could it be mixin’ inta next for tha 3rd verse? Sounds like tha Damage song “I’m An Alcoholic!” You sound pretty good on this verse too fa tha baby mamas! Tha beat sounds REAL NICE @ 4:11! Oh, tha beat changed ta a J.T. The Creeper sample, lol! He usually says dat line in tha sample but I recognize it from his “Never Too Many” joint! This 4th verse here sounds REAL nice wit this REAL NICE beat!! REAL GR8 intro mix here!!! My Rating: 4.6


02. “Ain’t I”
Now, we’re gonna stay on one beat… Let’s see what you do to tha “Ain’t I” beat! >>> After almost a minute, you finally hopped onto tha 1st verse! DJ PK1 sounds like a cool DJ, ya dig! DEFINITELY has a GR8 voice fa this shit right here!! Nice job deliverin’ tha 1st verse to tha fullest!! You must LUV this Rap shit!! I’m surprised DatPiff didn’t take this out of their folder ‘cause it has tha original version’s parts in it. Glad they kept it though ‘cause you KNOW we needed tha full mixtape! My Rating: 4.0


03. “Halle Berry”
I might yawn so hopefully, you capture my attention within these 84 seconds this song has! >>> You sound interestin’ wit your “I’m tha man x2” part; it’s like DoUbLe DuCe, ya dig, lol! Good job wit your lil’ verse here; you must’ve been in tha bed when you made this, lol! My Rating: 3.4


04. “Look At Me (Intro)”
Tha intro to tha next song? Let’s see why it has a special intro… >>> DJ PK1 on tha check in here wit a “Say Bow” beat in tha background. A song wit Foxx & (someone else)? Should DEFINITELY be tight!! My Rating: N/A


05. “Look At Me” Feat. Foxx & Level
Let’s hear this song now!! >>> A fresh sound vs. tha previous songs ‘cause Mod Productions did tha beat here!! I like how it sounds BLASTIN’ @ :31!! OMG, I was caught in a TRAP ‘cause of NO SOURCIN’ here in tha features!! No feedback in tha 1st verse due to feelin’ uncomfortable! Tha hook iz DEFINITELY tha shit here; REAL COOL shit!!! At least we got Foxx here on tha 2nd verse and it sounds NICE ta hear him here! He did his thang fa a song wit you on it! You’re on tha 3rd verse here and you DEFINITELY are doin’ tha damn thang here!! Too bad tha 1st verse prevents it from airin’ on my radio show. Sorry, but when I need thingz cleared up, I need ‘em cleared up! I can’t be too nice on tha air!! Either way, glad you made a REAL NICE song right here!! My Rating: 4.7


06. “Swag On”
This tracklistin’ iz a lil’ messed up. Glad you put tha right listing (includin’ tha features) in tha description! Lemme check this one… >>> EDIT: It’s not in here… My Rating: N/A


07. “Beep Beep”
It’s only 87 seconds so this’ll be anotha quickie for tha both of us here… >>> Although it was somewhat typical, I like your start to tha 1st verse wit your “beep beep, Duce got tha keys” part. Tha verse iz pretty good fa what it iz. My Rating: 3.6


08. BR Tribute
What’s up wit this 51 seconds? That’s way too short! Let’s see what we got though! >>> Oh, it’s just a skit. You got some gr8 shout outs here wit “all tha big dawgz!” Pretty NICE soundin’ ol’ skool BR beat we got here (prolly for tha upcomin’ song)!! My Rating: N/A


½time: You doin’ ya thang right here to tha fullest!! I have a feelin’ tha 2nd one’ll be betta but this iz a NICE start ta what you’re all about!! Hope you have more original production in tha 2nd mixtape! Current average CD rating iz 4.1!


09. “Fully Loaded”
Let’s see this shit right here! I should DEFINITELY feel it wit an ol’ skool twist! >>> Neva mind about tha ol’ skool twist; what’s up wit tha confusion? Sounds like you not “goin’ easy” on this shit right here! That’s what makes anticipation: when you go hard on a track!! Interestin’ rappin’ here on tha 1st verse, doin’ ya thang fa real!! Tha hook iz DEFINITELY tha shit here!! Gotta luv all tha shit here when it comes ta yourself! Tha 2nd verse here has a NICE start wit tha “she blowin’ on me like a napkin” part! You keep this shit catchy wit your own style!! It’s DEFINITELY quality right here that’s DEFINITELY not borin’!! Yea, we got a 3rd verse here!! You must REALLY luv sex based off your lyrics! You said in one of your songs on here dat you been “fuckin’ since your youth;” what’s dat like, especially for a young age? Glad you reppin’ for tha “good weed” here too on tha 3rd verse; you got a WHOLE lotta pluses here!! You prolly gon enjoy this review and betta yet, you gon have an EXTRA one right afta this, ya heard me! My Rating: 4.5

11. “Day & Nite”
Kid Cudi beat? Let’s see how you’ll do… >>> Yup, it iz. This iz pretty catchy for a start. If this was an original beat, it sounds like it would be a mainstream song. Catchy style here; you did ya thang wit tha verse! You definitely showin’ tha world that you’re tha one! My Rating: 4.1


12. “Get Dat $” Feat. Kevin Gates
I prolly would’ve had no clue what this was ‘til I saw Gates was on tha feature. This iz PURE classic shit from last year around this time (Fall 2008)!! Let’s see what I first said compared ta now: 5:00 flat on tha length, Kevin Gates on tha intro and Beat Flippa’s on tha beat! Not bad hook until I heard tha title. LOL @ how it sounds and how it comes outta nowhere; that gets my face to crack a smile. My dude Kevin Gates iz on tha 1st verse and soundin’ REAL GOOD on this!! What a great verse from Kevin Gates! Sounds like IL Duce on tha next verse… Pretty good verse from him so thumbs up. Startin’ to like tha hook more and still lovin’ when it says “get dat money” wit that screwed voice. <- To add: I guess it’s a shortened version ‘cause Nephew’s verse ain’t on it… Once again, it has such a CLASSIC start wit tha beat start and Gates takin’ tha intro ova!! It was 5:00 but it’s 3:10 here… My Current Rating: 4.5


13. “Go Hard”
What are we transitioning to? >>> Boo… DJ Khaled beat. Glad you “rippin’ tha track” wit your verse on here!! DEFINITELY a KICK-ASS flow wit tha CRAZY-ASS rappin’ wit its pace and this beat!! Also, tha lyrical content iz EXCELLENT!! I wish it was just tha instrumental and not tha original version’s parts ‘cause they sound gay… My Rating: 4.4


14. “Rock’n Dat”
Iz this The-Dream’s beat? Let’s see… >>> Yea and just like what I said wit tha last song (and this goes for tha othaz on here), why we gotta have like a Juelz Santana verse on this mixtape? Finally, here you are at 1:02! It was pretty good fa what it was; more on tha decent level of “pretty good.” My Rating: 3.3


15. “Neva Eva”
Unda a minute long… >>> I thought it was Trillville but really, it’s “Never Ever”’s beat (Ciara & Jeezy). Once again, anotha okay job here although it just an R&B beat… My Rating: 3.1


16. “On Dat Level (Remix)” Feat. Lil’ Cali & Level
Glad I got a warning this time! Lookin’ forward ta skippin’ as well as hearin’ tha parts I wanna hear!! And speakin’ of “Never Ever”’s beat, if this was back when that song 1st came out, I prolly wouldn’t do any “skippin’,” but problems (that I don’t create) occur… >>> LOL @ Lil’ Cali’s intro; glad he did come onta this mixtape! I don’t know if I have eva heard this joint before but it sounds gr8 fa what it iz! Your 1st verse was good; str8 tight shit! Tha hook sounds good too wit you and Lil’ Cali combinin’!! He’s even on tha 2nd verse here! Pretty good combo here; glad you fuck wit some real dudes (minus one)! As for tha 3rd verse, once again, gotta do my lil’ “skippin’!” My Rating: 4.3


17. “Outro”
Just like tha intro, we got a long outro here!! This one iz 6:30 and it should DEFINITELY sound like a GR8 mix!! >>> DJ PK1 on tha “intro” ta this “outro,” lol! Let’s see what he does on these beats; I got my reviewin’ in action! Tha 1st beat here iz a beatbox transformin’ inta some 90’s Bad Boy shit. Neva mind, tha intro was tha “Benjamins” beat. Now, tha 1st verse iz a pretty cool non-Louisiana soundin’ beat. You doin’ ya thang here and tha beat had a NICE “just beatboxin’” part at 1:39! Tha rappin’ iz DEFINITELY sick here!! Even a NICE endin’ wit “stop tha beat, I’m through wit it” at 2:31! A “G-Pipe” track? Iz that dude a new Louisiana producer? Either way, it’s DEFINITELY sick wit you rappin’ on it!!! Talk about how HOT it iz afta 2:50!!!!! Tha rhymes are TOOOOOOOOOO CRAZY!!! Joe On The Track & Mod Productions (I think Wodie On The Beat too) must be SO FUCKIN’ PROUD of themselves ta be fuckin’ wit you!!! Ooh, tha beat really switched up ta a completely different style at 3:54!! I really like tha calmness here and I like tha secret Kanye “it’s amazin’/so amazin’” random vocals in this part! Glad you gave shout outs ta Down Bad & Jimi Jump! Ville Boyz, Y’z Gy’z, Real Profit and Lil’ Cali also got shout outs; thumbs up!! DJ PK1 givin’ a shout out ta “tha city of Baton Rouge;” you KNOW that’s a plus!! Yea, you (Duce) DEFINITELY “came hard on this shit” right chea!! My Rating: 4.8


Overall: You DEFINITELY come through REAL STRONG on this shit right chea!! Not only Joe, Mod & Wodie bein’ proud of you, but I feel dat DJ PK1 iz REAL PROUD of you as well as myself!! You DEFINITELY serve tha streetz in a REAL STRONG way!!! If you got more original production on tha next mixtape, I will PROMISE YOU dat your ratings’ll go up!! Keep up tha gr8 work, my dawg!!
