Watz good? It’s ya boy FrankieThaLuckyDog once again, ‘bout ta do anotha CD review here on Christmas, ya dig! It’s always gr8 ta give Christmas presents and now, I gon give anotha dude a Christmas present wit a review! Previously today, it was Lil’ Ganggsta wit Da General Vol. 2. Now, it’s my dawg, who iz a fool on tha beats, Mod Productions! He has a It’s Whateva Mixtape Vol. 1 mixtape out right now (thanx fa Wodie On The Beat fa tellin’ me just now)! I downloaded it immediately and I ‘bout ta show luv ta my boy Mod, ya dig!! Here goes my review fa Mod Productions Presents It’s Whateva Mixtape Vol. 1!! Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings (if a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it) so any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. “Whateva”
You’re on tha beat here and are you rappin’? This iz DEFINITELY anticipatin’ fa me so I DEFINITELY gon check it out and be REAL SATISFIED wit what it sounds like, ya heard me!!! >>> If this iz you doin’ tha hook here, it sounds DEFINITELY cool, ESPECIALLY on this TIGHT beat here; gotta luv tha sounds!! Tha 1st verse iz here and it sounds like you real cool here wit how you rockin’ ya shit, ya dig! Glad ta see some shit like this ‘cause it’s cool. It’ll also be on my radio show real soon, you know dat! It sounds like anotha dude on tha 2nd verse? Well, whoeva err-body iz on here, you need ta tell me who’s who! I’ll call you right afta I finish this review, ya dig. As for tha 2nd verse, of course, I’m feelin’ tha Louisiana voice; it was a decent verse overall. My Rating: 4.2


02. “I Get It In”
I keep seein’ this kinda title name… It says you produced it so I’m assumin’ it’s anotha original song wit this same title. >>> Where’s your “Mod Productions on tha beat” tag? It sounds like anotha catchy hook like tha last song right here! I like how you singin’ tha hook and have tha 2nd ½ of tha hook repeat tha title like tha typical Baton Rouge formula for tha hook! Tha 1st verse sounds pretty good fa whoeva was on it; good shit right here! You DEFINITELY know y’all “get it in” fa sho! Sounded like tha dude on tha 2nd verse spelled his name out when tha verse started? Soundin’ GR8 here; I like tha “from tha Coogi to tha coochie;” I also like tha “raw” line too! Wait, iz dat you on tha 2nd verse? You spelled your name also at tha end? Once again, more gr8 shit here! Yea, you’re even talkin’ on tha endin’!! I fuckin’ got so much luv fa you, bruh! Although you younger than me, I consider you a big dawg, ya dig! Oh and there’s your “Mod Productions on tha beat” tag at tha 3:00 mark, lol. My Rating: 4.3


03. “Aww Shit” Feat. Wodie
Wow, you DEFINITELY got me anticipated here, ya heard me!! Wodie tol’ me he was on like one or two songs!! I REALLY like this title so you KNOW you DEFINITELY gon put on right now fa your CD!!! >>> Forgot ta also mention you produced it too once again! Tha hook start reminds me a lil’ bit of a Savage start and I’m DEFINITELY likin’ it!! Tha songs keep gettin’ betta here ‘cause that’s exactly what you are, my dawg!! Tha 1st verse iz here and I still can’t exactly tell who it iz. It maybe Wodie but I don’t exactly know (EDIT: It’s Mod)… It sounded gr8 though; gotta luv how y’all come through on tha tracks and all dat!! Oh wait, this iz Wodie here on tha 2nd verse ‘cause he told me he went “ayyyyyye!!” in tha beginning! Gr8 job contributin’, ya dig! Gotta luv this shit right here and Mod, you took ova tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse here; fuckin’ luvin’ it once again!! It’s like a “go hard in tha paint” type of ½ verse from you soundin’ gr8! Who don’t like someone like you? And once again, Wodie iz back on tha 3rd verse here!! He DEFINITELY got a nice lil’ flow here and his voice iz DEFINITELY GR8 fa this Rap shit!! This sounds like it would be a GR8 playlist song fa me ‘cause of how catchy it iz wit a Savage style! My Rating: 4.7


04. “Wonder Why” (Wild Wigg)
I “wonder” about this title and who this dude iz… You produced it so let’s see what’s up! >>> Tha beat intro was a lil’ odd fa a start but it sounded HOT in tha beat at :10! Now, I hear tha hook and it sounds GR8, ESPECIALLY wit tha 2nd ½ where it goes, “and they wonder why I act like this;” TIGHT shit (on sum real shit)!! Here he goes on tha 1st verse, soundin’ like he gettin’ hated on; why? Nice job deliverin’ tha verse on some real life shit! He keepin’ tha real shit up durin’ tha 2nd verse; glad you produced fa this dude, Mod! It’s anotha hot song here on a different level! If someone else produced this, they prolly would’ve fucked it up by makin’ it depressin’ or some shit. But, this sounds much betta now dat you’re on tha beat, Mod! My Rating: 4.1


½time: Talk about a REAL GR8 mixtape here fa only four songs so far!! DEFINITELY likin’ how you branch out inta rappin’ and all dat good shit here (as well as Wodie)!! Y’all DEFINITELY are tha shit as you made tha average CD rating currently stand at 4.3!! Keep this HOT SHIT up, my dawg!!


05. “Back 2 Da Crib” Feat. Il Duce, Yank & Wodie
This was tha otha song Wodie was talkin’ ta me about (and he’s no less on it)! He mentioned Il Duce and now, I get ta hear it!! Thanx again fa doin’ tha beat, my boy!! >>> Tha beat start DEFINITELY sounds cool and tha hook iz pretty tight here! Gotta feel this style too of makin’ someone go “back 2 da crib,” ya dig! Tha 1st verse iz here and it’s a visual of tha crib here, audio style! There’s a 2nd ½ of tha 1st verse here and tha flow iz DEFINITELY REAL TIGHT!!! Gotta FUCKIN’ LUV Louisiana to tha fullest!! Tha BEST when it comes ta err-thang; 225 ALL DAY!!!!! REAL INTERESTIN’ flow when it comes ta gettin’ some ta go “2 da crib,” lol! Tha 2nd verse iz here and it’s clitteryful, lol!! I liked dat line and althought it was only a ½ of a verse, Wodie takin’ ova tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse here! He DEFINITELY feelin’ this gurl right here as he DEFINITELY wants ta get wit her! Gr8 job wit tha flow and deliverin’ tha “ear-catchin’” lyrics, my boy! My Rating: 4.4


06. “Gotta Be” Feat. Wodie & Il Duce
This iz you right chea, my dawg! And you did tha beat once again so you KNOW this gon be on and poppin’!! >>> Sounds like you got haterz within tha hook as a lotta people are jealous of you. Shit, you a big dawg so you do what tha big dawgs do, ya dig! Tha beat sounds pretty good, ya dig! Yea, “if you produced it, it’s guaranteed like a Denzel movie;” I feel you on dat, bruh! Who’s doin’ tha extra vocals in tha 2nd ½ of tha hook? Neva mind, it sounds like Wodie (I think)! He on tha 2nd verse and it sounds GR8 wit tha flow once again!! Gotta luv err-body’s voices ‘cause a voice goes a long way!! Keep rappin’ this “lightning” type of Rap shit, ya dig!! LOL, anotha non-sourced dude on tha 3rd verse! Glad he ID’d himself before tha verse (Il Duce)! He sounds gr8 on this shit once again and already goes ta show tha world dat he’s tha shit! Ooh, a DEFINITE ear-catcher fa me wit tha “I ‘bout ta hit tha lottery. Not wit tha tickets but wit tha sound of me” line (or somethin’ like dat). REAL, REAL TIGHT right there, ya dig!! My Rating: 4.3


07. “Let The Beat Build” (Wild Wigg)
Oh no, not this Weezy beat! I thought you were producin’? Then again, you brought tha Wigg dude back… >>> He sounds pretty good on this but c’mon now; there’s plenty of beats in tha sea, lol! This beat sadly makes it feel Louisianaless ‘cause of its mainstream style… Glad he at least spittin’ some gr8 lyrics and some catchy rhymes! Nice job done here! My Rating: 3.6


08. “Feel So Good (I Like)”
I rememba this… I heard a sample off your Facebook page and I was scared ta say somethin’ about it first ‘cause of it bein’ an Auto-Tune song… But, wit tha way this mixtape went, you pretty much did a REAL NICE job here on this CD!! Regardless of what this song really sounds like, I really enjoyed this mixtape, ya heard me!! >>> Yea, tha beat in tha beginning (wit its sound) sounds like Auto-Tune. Tha hook doesn’t really sound like Auto-Tune so it ain’t tha worst… I hear tha 1st verse now and it sounds like you REALLY holdin' it down fa tha gurlz here! Now, it's remindin' me of a white rapper's type of luv song a lil', lol. Tha 2nd verse iz here now and it still has them supplyin' luv type of lyrics here for tha gurlz; glad you showin' them buku luv! Once again, it was aight fa what it was. I thought I was gonna rate it less but it pulled off! My Rating: 3.6


Overall: Damn, dawg, you REALLY did tha damn thang on this mixtape right here!! I ain’t even know you rapped ‘til now! You DEFINITELY got shit on lock when it comes ta me supportin’ it, ya dig! Thumbs up ta all tha producin’ (7 of 8 jointz) and fa bringin’ in some of your homeboyz on this shit too! You DEFINITELY got a name fa yaself down in Baton Rouge/Louisiana so keep it up!!
