Slowly reachin’ my 2,000^th review & I just got 10 ta go! This one, Review #1,990, iz F.T.F. Fire Proof?, released in 2000 on Grapetree Records! F.T.F. iz a duo consistin’ of Dr. Chedder & Fila Phil; F.T.F. stands for “Fighting Temptations Fasho”. Start Tyme: 8:22 AM | End Tyme: 8:40 AM

 

 

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you sound like anything too mainstream for me, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it!

>>> Tha beat’s pretty nice & upbeat, here; gotta feel tha bounce flow & newer vibe of bounce fa tha 2000! Tha both of y’all doin’ a nice job with tha content & rhymes fa tha streetz, here; gotta respect it…! My Rating: 4.2

 

 

04. “Burning”
>>> Sounds like anotha jammin’ beat; good shit, includin’ this whole flamed-out perspective…! Tha hook’s pretty intense with tha “Hell be burnin’” shit, too; fuck “Hell”! Glad I ain’t eva goin’ there! My Rating: 4.1

 

 

05. “Type Of Souljas”
>>> Sounds like anotha hyped-up anthem, here; gotta feel tha hook & how y’all comin’ through as “souljas,” here…! Tha rhymes are str8, too; glad y’all keepin’ it movin’ with tha rappin’…! My Rating: 4.0

>>> A slower beat; sounds more like some mainstream music fa tha Northeast or somethin’? As far as tha rappin’ & song, itself, this sounds aight; not as interested in this as I was with tha other tracks on here… My Rating: 3.0

>>> Sounds like a dope lil’ beat, this tyme; props fa goin’ back to tha 504 style for tha streetz! As far as tha rappin’, it’s str8; strong content about “Christ,” at tymes. Interestin’ with how y’all come through wit tha strong content on this street beat; keep it movin’… My Rating: 3.4

>>> Beat sounds cool; I digz it… Tha hook sounds pretty street & how this “murder” comes ta life; deep… As far as tha rappin’, it’s str8; I don’t have any comment on how y’all continuin’ ta come through wit… My Rating: 3.2

>>> Catchy lil’ hook, beat & sounds goin’ on in this beat’s hook; good shit! Hearin’ how y’all come through on this & y’all both got tha consistent rhymes on lock, here; good shit! My Rating: 3.9

 

 

½tyme: Not too bad, so far; some tightness, mixed with some decent/okay tracks to give y’all a 3.8 for tha average rating, currently…

>>> Just sounds decent with tha beat & how this sounds; nothin’ ta really say with tha rappin’, as it sometymes seems boring… My Rating: 2.8

>>> Sounds like an okay track fa tha women, here; beat aight/nothin’ special… Shout out ta Phil, who makes tha track sound catchier with his flow… My Rating: 3.0

>>> Good energy, here, as far as tha jumpin’ & tha hook… Props fa tha energy on tha verses, as well; y’all two bringin’ that Christian & N.O. content to join forces together… My Rating: 3.3

>>> Sounds like a good lil’ upbeat beat, here; tha rappin’ str8/doesn’t offer too much catchiness fa me, here… My Rating: 2.9
