As
I continue ta do these reviewz till I hit tha 2,000 mark, I’m at tha 1,991st
mark, right now: Fiend Presents Can I Burn?, released in 2000 on Fiend
Entertainment! Start Tyme: 8:53 AM |
End Tyme: 9:41 AM
Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0
– 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!
I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long
as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and
then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a
song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6
rating, I pretty much really love it,
as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I
hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type
before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song;
anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m
listening to it. If you sound like anything too mainstream for me, have
auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money (which I consider
‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it!

Intro
Producer:
Fiend
>>>
S/O to tha “rockumentary” & long live my patna,
Geno Saladin, fa coinin’ tha “blockumentary” term fa my Louisiana trips! Luv your aggression on this
track, here; definitely nice…! Also, a lil’ distorted with bein’ able ta hear
tha phone call, courtesy of this beat still bein’ louder than tha phone call… My Rating: N/A
02.
“Gone Get’m”
Producer: Fiend
Producer: Fiend
>>>
Sounds good with tha beat & tha aggressive-soundin’ 1st verse
from you, here; gotta “get’m,” Fiend! Hearin’ tha hook & it’s pretty
pumpin’; gotta dig tha energy & aggression, once again! Keepin’ this thang
goin’ with tha 2nd verse & tha way you hold it down fa tha
streetz iz too on-point!! My Rating: 4.6
03.
“Lookwhutyallmademedo”
Producer:
Fiend, DJ Khaled & DJ Nasty
Lol,
DJ Khaled’s a part of this 2000 release? Forgot he was N.O.-bound… >>>
Definitely sounds pretty pure & anthemic, based off how you handle tha
intro…! Hearin’ tha 1st verse & it’s soundin’ nice ta hear, as
well; you + tha beat = heat! Keepin’ this thang movin’ with tha 2nd
verse & this shit’s definitely on-point, once again; keep tha street
content comin’! Hearin’ tha 3rd verse & it’s pretty strong with
how you come through; your presence defines a hell of a lot!! My Rating: 4.4
04.
“Long Change” feat. Dat Bitch Bugsy
Producer:
Fiend
>>>
Startin’ off immediately & you sound great on tha 1st verse,
here; beat ain’t too bad, as well…! Hearin’ tha hook & it sounds dope; I
just luv your fuckin’ aggressive
voice on tha mic!! Here comes Dat Bitch… Bugsy, that iz, on tha 2nd
verse, comin’ through wit some catchy rhymes. Not as aggressive as you on tha
mic but I feel her channeled aggression from you; good collab…! My Rating: 4.1
05.
“Welcome To” feat. Ward Block
Producer:
Fiend
>>>
Slower beat, here; let’s see how this shit goes… Hearin’ tha hook & it
sounds catchy; you sound really loaded but focused, here… Hearin’ tha 1st
verse & it ain’t bad; I’ono if I really feel this slower shit of yours,
tho. Like, tha more-aggressive, more-energetic & faster tracks seem to hit
my heart more… I hear that you & this Ward Block are splittin’ tha 1st
verse, here; nice job…! Keepin’ this thang movin’ with anotha member of tha
Ward Block on tha 2nd verse, here? Just an okay-soundin’ verse; I
give it some props… Hearin’ tha 3rd verse & it sounds dope from
you with tha aggression, on this slow beat; good shit, in a way…! My Rating: 4.0
06.
“Come Thru” feat. Big Ed
Producer:
Fiend
>>>
Sounds like an anthemic beat; good start, here, includin’ how Big Ed comin’
through with tha quality street content on tha 1st verse…! Hearin’
tha hook & it’s pretty nice; I diggy-digz it…! Keepin’ this thang movin’
with you on tha 2nd verse, here, comin’ through with nice,
aggressive shit, as alwayz; gotta digz it! My
Rating: 4.3
07.
“If I Had A Choice” feat. David Banner
Producer:
David Banner
Also,
a young, pre-“Like A Pimp” David Banner… >>> Sounds like a slower-type
of beat/intro, here; I’ono… Hearin’ tha hook & it’s pretty sappy; can’t dig
this singin’ shit… Hearin’ what you got goin’ on with tha 1st verse
& Geez, it’s so dry/sappy! No
comment; you don’t need these slow jamz in your liggy-liggy-lizzife! Hearin’
Big Banner on tha 2nd verse & wow, he sounds pretty young, here;
at least he has some energy…! Long sets of hooks toward tha end, as well;
yuck…! My Rating: 2.6
½tyme: We were at a 4.3 for tha
average rating till tha slow jam just came in, knockin’ tha average rating down
to a 4.0,
right now… Aside from tha slow jam, at least this shit’s pretty nice, between
tha aggression, tha beats & tha energy you applyin’, here; keep it up!
08.
“How Long”
Producer:
Fiend
>>>
Long intro; anotha slow jam? Hearin’ tha hook & it’s aight; a lil’ too
dragged out & boring fa me, tho. Hearin’ tha 1st verse & it
sounds good with your street content, here; I’ll give you your props… Hearin’
tha 2nd verse & it sounds okay with your flow, as well; good
goin’ on tha verses… My Rating: 3.6
09.
“Ride w/T Heat” feat. Ward Block
Producer:
Fiend
>>>
Tha energy iz back! Feelin’ tha 1st verse’s aggression comin’ from
you, here; gotta keep supplyin’ tha streetz with what they need! Gotta luv how
tha Ward Block dudes follow after you with their energy & aggression;
definitely needed! My Rating: 3.9
10.
“Everytime” (B-Shype)
Producer:
Fiend
>>>
Way too slow fa me ta enjoy; damn, B-Shype…! Like, I don’t have any feedback on
this; it’s just a wasted track! No Fiend on here, anyway! My Rating: 1.0
11.
“Holla Back” feat. Blak Water
Producer:
Warlock
>>> Sounds like an okay beat; your typical, anthemic beat fa tha N.O.? Hearin’ tha 1st verse from Blak Water & it cool; I’ll give it props… Damn, was I wrong with tha Blak Water? Didn’t think it was a female rappin’, on tha 2nd verse; basically, she’s pretty good with her flow. I feel a lil’ confused with this track’s review but I’ll just leave it at that I enjoyed tha energy. My Rating: 3.5

“Under D Influenclude”
Producer:
Fiend
>>>
Nice lil’ intoxicated interlude—“Influenclude,” I should say; good goin’,
Fiend! Oh shit, I ain’t expect tha rappin’ at 1:20! Consistent shit ta let tha
aggression out! Good goin’ all tha way round, Fiend! My Rating: 4.2
13.
“Everywhere” (Speedknot Mobstaz feat. Twista)
What’s
this non-Louisiana track doin’ here? >>> Beat from tha uncredited
producer sounds okay ta rap on, here… Hearin’ tha 1st verse &
it’s okay; not too sure how well my interest gon hold up… Likin’ how this young
Twista comes through on tha hook; good lil’ catchy, non-Louisiananess… Hearin’
tha 2nd verse & it’s more Mobstaz action, here, soundin’ okay;
seems like it’s a bunch of regular-soundin’ rappin’ that’s kinda boring fa me…
Now, a fast-rapped verse from this young Twista, on tha 3rd verse…;
definitely nice! Still, I want 100% Louisiana
rap music in my reviewz! My Rating: 3.7
14.
“D.R.U.G.S.” feat. Untouchable & Duck
Producer:
Fiend
>>>
Acronym’d tha “D.R.U.G.S.” as “Dope
Records Used 2 Get
Scrilla” b4 Baton Rouge’s Down Bad did…! Nice job with
tha hook; feelin’ your deep voice, here! Hearin’ tha 1st verse &
it sounds nice; I feel what you want outta these N.O. streetz…! Keepin’ this
movin’ with tha 2nd verse & your patna’s comin’ through wit an okay verse;
just seems like a nice addition to tha track… Keepin’ this thang goin’ with tha
3rd verse & I’m feelin’ tha continued aggression; you & tha
clique know what it iz! My Rating: 3.8
15.
“Life Ain’t Fare”
Spellin’ “fair” as a “fare,” here…? >>> Sounds like a good lil’ beat fa tha streetz & how you comin’ through on tha 1st verse, here; gotta represent! Hearin’ tha hook & it’s pretty aggressive; definitely gotta feel just you on tha track! Keepin’ this thang movin’ with tha 2nd verse & it’s dope, as well; keep holdin’ tha streetz down! My Rating: 4.2

Overall: Most of this review went
over well with your aggressive rhymes, tha energy in tha beats & how you
came through fa tha streetz, here… Just wasn’t really wantin’ ta hear tha
non-Fiend tracks, as well as some of tha dry energy on here; either way, good
shit.
