Tha next review I have on deck iz Young Gage “Social Outkast”, only 22 minutes long, lol. Start Time: 7:38 PM | End Time: 8:00 PM


Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings (if a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it) so any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. “Written Freestyle”
How will it sound for a start? >>> Although not a BR sound fa me, I feel like this iz cool for a freestyle. Tha beat sounds like somethin’ old and tha rappin’s good wit all tha rhymes. My Rating: 3.7


02. “Past, Present”
>>> Tha beat’s not bad and tha rappin’s good… My Rating: 3.5


03. “On & On”
>>> Fade-in intro? This anotha decent song; sounds like it’s tryin’ to be a lil’ catchy wit tha rhythm. My Rating: 3.6


04. “Grow Old”
I don’t know what ta expect wit dis title… >>> Tha beat sounds jacked, old but good for tha start. Ehh @ tha hook; not feelin’ it. Tha beat sounds sour now… Good content for you but nothin’ special for me. My Rating: 3.2


05. “Blunt Ash Pt. 1”
I like this title… >>> Not feelin’ tha intro; quality sounds kinda loud, lol? Tha hook’s okay; would’ve expected betta wit this title… But, tha verses sounded good… My Rating: 3.8

06. “Can’t Run”
Let’s see what’s good wit dis title. >>> Okay beat, pretty good hook… Not much to say so lemme hear tha verses… Tha 1st verse’s pretty good… Sounds like you have catchy melodies when it comes to this rappin’. Sounded like there was some singin’ intermission, lol? My Rating: 3.7


07. “Rain Pour” Feat. Dzel D
Finally, a feature. But, I don’t think I’ll be able to handle this… >>> Not really feelin’ tha beat; sorry. Tha 1st verse’s not bad here… Tha 2nd verse sounds pretty gutta; must be tha featured dude… Very good lyrical content here. My Rating: 3.8


08. “I’m Tired”
Maybe I won’t look forward ta dis one… >>> LOL, cut off beginning? Sounds like a lil’ bit of Barry White in tha sample of tha beat; might’ve heard this beat before? I dunno but it’s kinda boring for me… You’re deliverin’ catchy shit though based off how you spittin’ it. My Rating: 2.6


09. “Blunt Ash Pt. 2”
A 2nd part, lol? >>> Tha 1st part had a betta beat… Not exactly into this right now… I thought tha 1st verse was startin’ ta come through catchy but it ain’t creatin’ a buzz for me… My Rating: 2.9


10. “Let It Go”
>>> Yuck! Not feelin’ a Rock sample here; heavily decreases my anticipation! But, you sound like you’re deliverin’ a real catchy hook… I’m not gonna take it too serious but I’ll give you a lil’ bit of props for it. Tha 1st verse’s pretty catchy on this beat; looks like a good combo between tha beat, tha hook and tha 1st verse. Definitely feelin’ tha shit (“tion”s) ‘round 1:48! My Rating: 3.6


11. Social Outkast (Outro)
Endin’ it? >>> Just an outro here. Glad you’re on tha phone, speakin’ on dis shit. My Rating: N/A


Overall: Just a decent CD for me. I didn’t love any of tha songs but there were some catchy songs on here for a start.
