Got my 5th review for today all ready, ya dig! This one right chea came out 11 months ago and I didn’t even know it ‘til I found it one day online. It was two dayz before this artist’s birthday too, so it could’ve been a gr8 birthday present. Anyway, this year, tha birthday present’ll be this review since his birthday’s next month. It’s Baby L’s “My Life Is A Movie”; glad he got tha hookup on tha GR8 front/back cover!! Start Time: 4:20 PM | End Time: 5:38 PM


Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings (if a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it) so any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

Let’s see what you got in store wit Dezzy… >>> Good, an online instrumental? Sounds good for a start; DEFINITELY “don’t want it wit you” when it comes ta dat bullshit! Damn, a horrible Dezzy verse; this ain’t gonna help tha rating at all. You’re on tha 2nd verse here, nice and normal, and you really deliverin’ for tha hood and defendin’ yourself in tha hood too! My Rating: 2.4


03. “Dead Wrong (Freestyle)”
Let’s see how you’ll rip dis beat! >>> “Runnin’” it here; good job, my boy! You holdin’ tha hood down once again! My Rating: 3.6


04. “Owe Me Some Money” (B.G. Feat. Soulja Slim)
LOL, this was before I actually heard it; let’s see what you did on it… >>> LOL, it’s just tha original version; I guess this was just exclusive at tha time… I realized it was only Gizzle and Slim, compared to there bein’ like two otha dudes on it. My Current Rating: 4.4


05. “Wet Paint” Feat. RoyDezzy
I honestly hope Dezzy doesn’t ruin this one too… I’m thinkin’ “Ice Cream Paint Job” beat? >>> Completely different beat; it sounds like a small microphone’s quality? Pretty good; not bad… “Blowin’ dat fine kush in tha wind;” thumbs up, my boy! A T.I. sample instead on tha hook, lol. Tha 2nd verse sounds like you’re holdin’ it down in a good way; thumbs up once again! Oh, didn’t realize there was room fa a 3rd verse. Oh no, Dezzy wit tha weird voice… Not dat bad as tha last time but c’mon… I guess I can accept tha verse… My Rating: 4.0


06. “Dumb Fly”
One of tha songs I put on my radio show (thanx ta you sendin’ it to me; tha 1st dude ta send me a song for my radio show)! I wish I would’ve known about this CD last year though; lemme re-hear… >>> Good beat here; glad I showed it luv. I rememba dat hook; it sounds good on this track. You doin’ ya thang on tha 1st verse… Nice job wit tha 2nd verse too; I would “keep your name” tha way it iz too. My Current Rating: 4.3


07. “A Few Bars”
A lil’ freestyle-type joint? Lemme hear dis shit… >>> LOL, only 52 seconds? Tha beat’s pretty good for a freestyle-type joint; nice job… My Rating: 3.7


08. “Picture Perfect”
>>> Not that good of a beat but it sounds good wit you rappin’ on it… Tha hook’s pretty good fa a beat like dis too… I like tha shit in tha 2nd verse; such “hoes” when it comes ta those pussazzes! My Rating: 3.8


09. “Showtime” Feat. Dani Banga
Let’s hear dis collab… >>> Ooh, I like tha beat start here! Tha 1st verse’s pretty much a motivational verse here; you continuin’ ta do ya thang wit all these mixtapes! Glad you don’t stop ‘cause it’s ALWAYS gr8 ta have you be reviewed frequent times! Dani’s on tha 2nd verse and it’s a gurl; pretty good for a friend here, lol. I like her “So So Def like tha opposite of Stevie” line! You’re “back again” here on tha 3rd verse, keepin’ it goin’! My Rating: 4.2


10. “Let’s Get Ratchet” (Lil’ Boosie & Hurricane Chris)
>>> I thought I heard this before? EDIT: Damn, a title change confused me. This iz tha more fittin’ title but I heard it as “Going Hard Tonight” on tha “Bad Azz Hurricane” mixtape. Anyway, GR8 collab and dat hook’s DEFINITELY “harrrrrrrrrrd” as fuck!! My Current Rating: 4.6


½time: Nice job, L’s! Tha bonus songs helped you and you’re doin’ a pretty good job rappin’ too! A nice 3.9 iz tha average CD rating so far…

Ooh, anotha “freestyle;” let’s see… >>> Sounds more like a skit in tha beginning; cool lil’ beginning… “Get on tha track and just blaze it like a blunt;” do ya thang! Nice lil’ verse from you here! My Rating: 4.1

Let’s hear it! >>> Tha producer gives me anticipation… Ehh @ tha hook; I rather you do tha hook and not have an already-made hook. Tha 1st verse sounds like you’re giving… Tha 2nd verse sounds like you’re keepin’ it real when it comes ta havin’ a relationship; good shit. A “bluntful” chick described on tha 3rd verse since y’all can “smoke blunts together,” lol; good shit once again! My Rating: 4.0


13. “One Mic”
Iz this a freestyle or somethin’ else? >>> Yup, it sounds like it’s your own version of this song… Usually, I’d be completely bored wit somethin’ like dis but you have a voice dat has interest; DEFINITELY a plus here!! I like tha scene @ :52, “fightin’ fa ya life!” Sorry ‘bout “tha muthafuckin’ blunts not rollin’” @ 1:02 too. Hearin’ a “dark side” from you on tha 2nd verse here; very personal for tha hood here in your perspective! Tha 3rd verse iz pretty gutta too; you RIPPED dis shit!! I thought it went quiet @ 3:27 but you’re comin’ through here wit a “mic,” a “blunt” and a “beat.” My Rating: 4.5

LOL, this would’ve been Exclusive #3 if I got this mixtape tha time it came out! Good-ass shit still right chea; very catchy beat and hook! My Current Rating: 4.4


16. “Nothin’ Like Me” Feat. Yung Marley & Goo
Iz Marley tha Marley “Don’t Hurt ‘Em” (or whateva) dude from tha 985 dat helps peeps out? >>> Pretty catchy here; I’m likin’ this as I’m anticipatin’ it! You’re on tha 1st verse (just like you were on tha catchy hook) and it’s pretty good; I like when you come on tha mic all tha time! Good shit and Marley’s on tha 2nd verse; he sounds hella cool here! Glad you fuck wit dis dude right chea! LOL, you came through on tha 2nd ½ of tha verse here outta nowhere… Y’all family to tha fullest! Goo sounds good on tha 3rd verse; DEFINITELY a plus for tha 985 hood! My Rating: 4.4

>>> Sounds like a Pop song and I almost thought it was “Dead & Gone”. This has good content to it and you’re holdin’ it down wit your story… My Rating: 3.6

Anotha radio song right “here,” lol! I rememba it had a long beat outro; lemme review it and see what happens… >>> Good shit; reppin’ dat “South Louisiana!” I like how you holdin’ tha hook here; true shit! Nice job wit tha 1st verse and you gave a shout out ta “Jimmy The DJ;” thumbs UP!!! Tha 2nd verse sounds cool too; definitely a plus on this joint! Oh yea, wit 1:51 left, I’m hearin’ tha remainin’ shit wit tha “shake it, drop it.” My Current Rating: 4.4


20. “Give It 2 ‘Em”
Almost done. >>> This sounds good; I like how you comin’ through on this good beat! You spittin’ dat real shit for tha undaground here on tha 1st verse, “wit your own label!” Nice job wit dis shit! My Rating: 4.2


21. “24, 23 (L’s Mix)”
DatPiff says “23, 24” but tha back says “24, 23,” lol? Let’s see this last joint. >>> Sounds like tha last joint? Now, it sounds like a Young Jeezy hook… You’re here on tha 1st verse and it sounds good… Tha rest of this shit’s good and consistent (as always)! Because I heard you say, “23, 24,” I’ll put dat as tha title and consider tha back cover an error. Oh wait, tha hook actually says, “24, 23;” lol, this iz confusin’! I’ll leave it as “24, 23” then. Anotha verse fit here… More good shit from you and tha outro was good too!! Glad “Jimmy” iz ALWAYS on your side at times! My Rating: 4.3
