Goin’ for Review #9 fa today!! It’s City Boy, outta dat JazzyFam Records clique, and his “My Tyme 2 Shyne” demo disc; lookin’ forward!! Start Time: 11:03 PM | End Time: 11:26 PM


Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings (if a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it) so any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. “Dumb Wittit” Feat. Big Josh
LOL @ “wittit;” “dumb” shit! Let’s hear what you got ta spit on dis shit right chea! >>> What’s wit tha 11 seconds of silence in tha beginning? Anyway, you sound like you doin’ ya thang here on tha hook! Tha 1st verse sounds like some typical party shit wit a lil’ bit of a laidback flow… LOL @ tha random gangsta shit in tha 2nd verse; you really dat rough? Must be pretty hard ta be in a situation where you gotta get tha “40” out on someone… LOL, who’s on tha 3rd? Oh, “Big Josh,” huh (“on tha beat” too)? Too bad he hasn’t mailed me any music; I wanna get y’all on tha radio… Okay verse from him but I feel more distracted without CDs… My Rating: 4.3


02. “Club Shut Down” Feat. Da Taliban & Lil’ Kevin
Now, tha features are listed, lol? >>> Ooh, hot beat and I like tha Slim Thug sample on tha hook! I like how you’re comin’ through on tha 1st verse; good shit from you here, doin’ ya thang! Let’s hear dis 2nd verse… Tha 1st ½ of tha 2nd verse sounds like someone young…; pretty good… Tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse sounds more gangsta here wit a more darker voice, lol. Tha 3rd verse’s hot too!! Funny that there’s all this typical shit too; does everyone live tha same life, LMAO? What happened? It ended quickly? My Rating: 4.6


03. “He Say, She Say (Remix)” Feat. Bro-Bro & Lil’ Handy
Looks like a familiar title; let’s see dis… >>> Oh, what, a familiar beat? I heard Yung Yola team up wit J.R. on his “He Da Truth” joint on dis beat, lol… Sounds cool here on tha 1st verse! “Finish him… like Mortal Kombat;” tight-ass shit!! Good shit from Bro-Bro; glad he appeared on this! Sounds like Lil’ Handy’s on tha hook? Dat’s a tight-ass hook wit a gr8 sample! Tha 2nd verse sounds like there’s a lotta motion goin’ on here wit you; you can’t stay still, lol! My Rating: 4.5


½time: VERY GOOD shit right chea!! A NICE 4.5 average CD rating right chea!!!


04. “I Go Hard” Feat. Da Taliban
Must be good… >>> WTF?!? “Party Like A Rockstar” beat? Why can’t ’07 just be FORGOTTEN about?!? What happened to tha original beats?!? At least this iz way more normal than a bunch of tha otha shit I heard earlier today/yesterday! Tha hook sounds good and tha 1st verse’s pretty good… Tha 2nd verse must be Da Taliban, doin’ his thang! LOL, an “erection” start to tha 3rd verse, lol? Not bad; kinda short on tha verse but it’s aight… My Rating: 3.6


05. “I Miss You” Feat. Bro-Bro, Kool Aid & Tyree Neal
Dat name, Tyree; only saw it once when ‘round February 8, 2008, I encountered this dude in my History class in tha lunch room at my 1st college… >>> Yea, not exactly my kinda song; a Pimp C tribute but not for me… ROFL @ tha “Plies” quote in tha 2nd verse… Sounds like a “tribute to Lil’ Handy” too? Good lil’ thought although when I hear, “I keep a picture of you whereva I go,” I can’t picture anotha dude keepin’ anotha dude’s picture ‘cause everyone acts weird when I try to be cool wit people so it’s weird ta see someone else actin’ nearly tha same… My Rating: 2.1


06. “Dat Boy”
Last joint? >>> Good start here! Ooh, sounds catchy wit tha title and tha hook! Tha 1st verse sounds real cool; this DEFINITELY has ta be single material here!! Always feelin’ good to tha fullest! Tha 2nd verse sounds good and you even a “pill poppa” too. “’07, I’m in tha mix?” This iz that old? Anyway, good 2nd verse and 3rd verse; definitely soundin’ good on dis! My Rating: 4.5
