This 4th review I got on deck iz for Kay-O Da Kid. I think he might’ve added me on MySpace ‘cause that’s how I found his music via a DatPiff player. This iz my review for his “No Warning Shots!” CD! Start Time: 11:45 PM | End Time: 12:35 AM


Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings (if a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it) so any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. “Freestyle 1”
Since all these jointz say “Freestyle” as their title, I’m just numberin’ each one. >>> Sounds like I can anticipate dis since it’s hot and sounds like an original beat! Still, if it’s a “freestyle,” wouldn’t tha length not be 3:50? Should be like two minutes… Tha hook’s catchy…; very typical though so I hope it doesn’t get boring! Sounds like you’re claimin’ yourself (or style) as gangsta based off this shit here… My Rating: 3.9


02. “Freestyle 2”
ROFL, already missin’ from tha folder? Only a 30 second sample available… >>> SMH @ “Gossip”. Also, SMH @ them removin’ it. I’ve heard 10,000+ freestyles on this beat but neva saw it removed (well, maybe just onec but still)… My Rating: 3.5


03. “Freestyle 3” Feat. Juice & S.D.C.
>>> “Look Like Money” beat. Shitty ’07 times but I got this when my Louisiana connection started so this ain’t too shitty to hear. Tha hook sounds good, representin’ for “tha Boot!” Tha beginning of tha 1st verse sounds kinda gay wit tha “stop and stare to see you dance” shit. There’s a “J-U-I-C-E” dude on tha 2nd verse; I’ll put him in tha feature. I gon see what his full name iz on your MySpace’s friends… Well, it’s just Juice but he did tha damn thang! Wow, not even 30 seconds left and there’s anotha feature… I’ll put “S.D.C.” on tha feature. My Rating: 3.7


04. “Freestyle 4”
>>> Now this iz 100% tha DEFINITE GAY-ASS side of ’07; “Black Magic” beat!! Lemme just picture myself bein’ taken advantage of; possibly tha WORST school time of my life!! Not bad on tha rappin’ but this beat DEFINITELY has ta go!! Iz this a Late ‘07/Early ’08 mixtape? My Rating: 3.2


05. “Freestyle 5”
>>> ROFL @ tha silence in tha beginning… Ugh, I’m puttin’ ’07 for this CD’s year ‘cause this tha “Money In The Bank” beat. I thought this was ’07 for a second (too much time goin’ by) but it’s ’06 this time… Boring hook for me but it’s a lil’ catchy wit how it flows. I like tha “ug” shit towards tha end of some of tha lines in tha 1st verse. Kinda plain for a verse except for that catchiness so there’s a lil’ bit of a plus… I like dat spellin’ of “L-O-U-I-S-I-A-N-A” in tha beginnin’ of tha 2nd verse! He sounds anticipatin’ wit his name bein’ considered “Philly.” LOL, tha verse’s gettin’ pretty fast, lol! I wonder who dat was on tha 2nd verse; too lazy to list, smh? My Rating: 3.6


06. “Freestyle 6”
>>> Now, it’s ’06ish wit tha “Rubberband Banks” beat. This unfortunately turned gay for me once last year came as all tha ’06 shit reminded me of this dude I would hang out wit and now, he feels like he can hang out and shit without carin’ ‘bout me; fuck it! LOL, what happened at 31.5 seconds in? Silence piece? Tha 2nd verse has a feature and it’s pretty good… Pretty good freestyle overall… My Rating: 3.4


07. “Freestyle 7”
>>> Boo @ tha “Superstar” beat; don’t like Pop beats. Anotha spot of silence before tha :13 mark? I like tha start to tha 1st verse wit tha “my pants saggin’ like a dirty diaper,” lol. Feature on tha 2nd verse… Not much to say since it’s a lil’ boring for me. My Rating: 2.8


½time: Decent; 3.4 iz tha average CD rating so far.


08. “Freestyle 8”
>>> More ‘07ness… “For A Minute” beat. Just okay; not really havin’ much feedback… My Rating: 3.0


09. “Freestyle 9”
>>> LMAO. It had to’ve been my favorite mainstream Rap song of ’07: “Tambourine”, lol! Sounds interestin’ and iz short (now this time it’s short?)… Good shit, ya dig! My Rating: 3.8


10. “Freestyle 10”
>>> Tha beat sounds kinda borin’ this time and sounds horrible wit tha random background vocals; I prolly gon have no feedback. Not only tha beat, tha song ain’t for me either… My Rating: 1.9


11. “Freestyle 11” Feat. Juice
>>> This beat confuses me at time but it’s no less a BR beat from tha shitty-ass ’07; “Naw Mean”. Not feelin’ tha “Pop, Lock & Drop It” shit; pathetic how this iz like Day 2 in a row dat I heard dat quote for some reason… Feature artist on tha 1st verse; grimy/hungry voice! Juice’s also on this… Betta than usual thanx ta your crew here! My Rating: 3.6


12. “Freestyle 12”
>>> Boring beat (I hear “Chunk/Chuck Up The Deuce/Duece” too much) and almost five minutes too… Just basic rappin’ but tha rating gon be much lower this time ‘cause I had ta sit here for five minutes wit dis beat and there was even a long outro (good outro though) for like 86 seconds… My Rating: 2.4


13. “Freestyle 13”
>>> “Dey Know” beat; maybe this mixtape’s ’08? I enjoy when people get on dis beat but it’s real old now and I think too many people’ve been on it… Anotha basic freestyle but good thing it wasn’t dat long… My Rating: 3.5


14. “Freestyle 14”
>>> Betta beat here but it’s ova four minutes so let’s see what’s up… Tha hook’s cool too even though it’s anotha “swag” song… I like tha “feelin’ my swagga” part in tha hook tha more I hear it, ya dig. Pretty good song, especially tha beat and tha catchiness! My Rating: 4.0


15. Outro
Damn, this tha last joint? >>> Cool beat once again! Says “Freestyle” but it’s an “outro,” lol. Nice job on tha ending shout outs… Tha voices are much louder, lol. Even some rappin’ at tha end, lol… My Rating: N/A


Overall: Sounded like your version of enjoyin’ fun by rappin’ ova other peoples’s beats…
