Reviewed on 3.03.2011 (Review #845)
Gonna try to do a lot of reviewz today… First up, I have Eldoraldo Red & Bambino Gold “Warning Shots”! Start Time: 10:16 AM | End Time: 10:50 AM
Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it. Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. Intro
>>> A lil’ cheesy wit tha “cut-off stockings,” lol… My Rating: N/A
02. “100 Shooters”
Production by: Ryan Stroup. >>> LOL @ all tha nouns before tha end of each sentence. This iz good wit tha production and shit but some of tha shit sounds jacked. For example, it sounds like Waka Flocka from tha pause in tha beginning of tha beat to tha way tha rhymes are delivered, which I’m gonna deduct points. My Rating: 3.5
03. “Don’t Fuck With Me” Feat. Fatboi Grizzy
>>> Good street shit, here… I guess y’all really on a lot of street shit, huh? My Rating: 3.7
04. “What The Lick Read”
>>> Didn’t get tha title ‘til I heard tha intro, real quick. Tha beat sounds hot, here; likin’ what it samples! This iz an improvement from tha previous two jointz! Tha content’s nice, here… My Rating: 4.2
05. Bambino Gold Speaks
>>> ‘Preciate it. My Rating: N/A
06. “Talk Of The Town”
>>> Decent/pretty-good wit how this sounds. Tha rappin’ sounds a lil’ catchy… My Rating: 3.8
07. “Pourin’ Up” Feat. Fatboi Grizzy
>>> Tha beat intro sounds pretty serious, here! Ooh, tha Pimp C sample from tha song wit tha same title; good job includin’ dat! I like dat dis sounds slow, like dat real, undaground, Southern Rap shit! Tha rhymes are pretty serious, too, wit how dis beat backs y’all up! My Rating: 4.4
08. “Trap House”
Were tha other jointz original productions? They had ta be… There was no source but somethin’ like dis says somethin’ (Mike Will on tha beat)? >>> Sounds good; can’t deny dis content. Nice job wit err-thang goin’ on… My Rating: 4.1
09. “Mount Up”
>>> Anotha Mike Mill beat accordin’ to tha tag in tha beginning. This sounds like more of dat good, undaground-type shit, on a 504 tip. Tha hook’s pretty catchy wit all those “mount up”s. I’m likin’ tha verses, this time; sounds like y’all livin’ a cool life, lol. My Rating: 4.3
10. “No Sponsor”
Looks like a solo from Red? >>> Tha beat intro sounds like a loop of “The Boy Is Mine” and sounds pretty tight. Sounds like anotha good street anthem, here. Glad y’all keepin’ tha consistency goin’… My Rating: 4.0
11. “Star Like Me”
Now, Gold’s solo; let’s see if dis betta… >>> Anotha Pimp C sample? I think I might’ve liked tha previous joint betta; Eldoraldo Red wins dis competition, lol. For a song only two minutes long, it shouldn’t’ve taken so long fa me ta hear you, Gold. My Rating: 3.4
12. “Dope Man” Feat. Alley Boy
Back to Eldoraldo Red havin’ a solo wit Alley Boy; let’s hear dis! >>> This iz good; I can fuck wit dis. Shit, how many money anthems can someone carry, lol? Alley Boy sounds like he can mix in wit y’all, so thumbs up fa includin’ him wit y’all. My Rating: 3.9
½time: Currently, this CD’s worth a 3.9 fa me; can it build up?
13. “Living Lovely” Feat. Yung Sean & Slick Pulla
Back to Bambino Gold on tha solo… >>> Sounds good; thought it would be more mainstream/Jeezyish… Tha verses are decent… Pretty-good comeback for Slick Pulla, too. My Rating: 3.6
14. “Ambrosia”
Again, switchin’ back ta Eldoraldo. >>> Nice beat intro from Mike Will, once again; looks like it’ll always be Eldoraldo Red winning against Bambino Gold wit tha solos! Between tha verses, it sounds different fa three seconds, lol… My Rating: 4.2
15. “Night Walker”
Uh oh, Gold again, lol… >>> This must be his best for a solo; nice start, dark style! Catchy “neighborhood” shit in tha hook! Tight shit when it comes to tha content! Thumbs up on dis shit! My Rating: 4.3
16. “Flexed Up”
Here comes Red again, lol! >>> Tha beginning sounds like tha typical Gucci/OJ-type shit; how will it go for me? Tha hook gives me dat feelin’, too; not bad… By not knowin’ about tha title, all tha shit that’s described iz good. My Rating: 3.8
17. “1st Of The Month”
LOL, anotha alternation to Gold! >>> Sounds like a decent song fa a start. I like tha soundin’ in tha voice when it comes ta deliverin’ dis shit; good job… Tha rhymes and content iz on lock, too! My Rating: 3.9
18. “I’m ‘Bout Dat Life” Feat. Alley Boy
Back to Red, featurin’ Alley Boy! >>> Definitely an anthem, here! A lil’ typical on tha lyrics but it’s still a good joint. Yea, this iz becomin’ more typical throughout tha song, itself; it ain’t too bad… My Rating: 4.0
19. “Big Tymer” Feat. Fatboi Grizzy
Interestin’ wit these consistent changes between Red & Gold! >>> Not really likin’ tha Plies-soundin’ flow for tha start but it sounds pretty-good when this beat’s in tha background… I’m likin’ how tha verses are delivered; sounds like y’all focused. My Rating: 3.9
20. “Whip It”
Just Eldoraldo Red, once again! >>> LOL @ tha “Whip It” sample in tha beginning; interestin’… Of course, doin’ tha damn thang on this special beat!! Tha content, of course, iz tightness, so you know dis gets tha plus! Good shit here, too. My Rating: 4.4
21. “Shop Wit Dis Guy”
Let’s hear Bambino Gold, once again! >>> Sounds like a betta beat fa him; likin’ tha hook! Nice job wit how you comin’ on tha mic, Gold; consistent shit! My Rating: 4.1
22. “Break It Down”
Anotha Gold song? Looks like tha switchin’ up has just been broken. >>> Definitely, wit tha song itself; what tha hell’s this sappy production/hook? Well, tha beat ain’t too bad in tha verses but I don’t go fa songs like dis… My Rating: 3.1
23. “Where Do Gangsters Go”
Now, back ta Red! >>> Even though it sounds a lil’ like some ‘90s shit, this ain’t too excitin’ fa me; too long of an intro fa somethin’ under three minutes long… Tha rhymes are good; this iz at least betta than tha last song. My Rating: 3.6
24. “Headhunters (Remix)” Feat. Coco Brown
Just Gold, here… >>> Sounds like a catchy song. Didn’t expect a girl to be on tha feature; at least she’s good wit this song, too! My Rating: 3.8
25. Outro
>>> Good outro. My Rating: N/A
Overall: A good mixtape from y’all; pretty consistent and I liked tha content, too!
Rankings:
22. “Break It Down” 3.1
21. “Star Like Me” 3.4
