Reviewed on 3.04.2011 (Review #860)
My 8th review of tha day: J Fletcha “Good Morning America”; hope it’s consistent and tight like tha previous shit I’ve heard! Start Time: 6:07 PM | End Time: 6:37 PM
Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it. Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

Source (Where I Got Tha CD From): http://www.datpiff.com/J_Fletcha_Good_Morning_America.m189904.html
01. Intro Feat. T-Lynn
Let’s hear it. >>> Why in tha fuck do people think “poppin’ pillz” have happened so much? Uh, no; neva even see it in person, either! It’s not 2006 or whateva; it’s 2011 and it’s not common. My Rating: N/A
02. “Good Morning America”
>>> Must be a jacked-beat CD. A lil’ long on tha intro… I’ve heard much betta versions on this beat, sorry. Wit this song, I’d expect tha same flow on tha hook. My Rating: 2.3
03. “H.E.Y. (Hated Every Year)”
>>> Yes, an original song by Dot Com; maybe dis’ll be more normal fa me. Again, what’s up wit tha long-soundin’ intro? Doesn’t seem like tha hook and sounds like a long intro fa me… Overall, this iz okay fa me; there’s nothin’ real special ‘bout dis and what I’d expect. My Rating: 3.1
04. “Mouth Lip Service” Feat. Young Rudy
>>> Damn, not dis beat. I mean, you did ya thang on tha “Prom Queen” beat a while back but I dunno about now. Okay, tha hook’s catchy; this sounds betta, surprisingly. But, for four minutes, I prolly can’t handle tha whole thang. Young Rudy sounds a lil’ more entertained; he should’ve had all tha verses and you just on tha hook. My Rating: 3.4
05. “Ugly” Feat. Queen Hillary
>>> Speakin’ of yucky beats, I had this in mind from tha last song and shame dat it’s here. An aight topic but nothin’ special fa me. Queen Hillary’s aight, too; at least she’s got some entertainin’ shit, lol. My Rating: 3.2
06. “Power”
>>> Heard Box (Kontinuous Entertainment) on dis yesterday and it sounded much betta wit an agression. However, you’re a lil’ on tha entertainin’ side, here, which it’s a lil’ betta than tha previous ones on here. My Rating: 3.3
07. “Nigga Like Me” Feat. Dirty Harry
Feelin’ tha collaboration; hope it’s good! >>> Beat start’s a lil’ unanticipatin’ but you have tha hook on lock. Thought I knew this but it’s new fa me. A lil’ interestin’ wit tha rhymes, as they’re consistent. Thumbs up fa Harry havin’ some catchy shit, too; he’s always got some entertainin’ shit. My Rating: 3.8
08. “Listen To My Mixtape”
>>> Ugh, unanticipatin’ beats I gotta deal wit… Not seein’ much wit tha title, here; decent/below average for me. My Rating: 2.9
09. “Rollin’ L’s”
Hope dis iz good… >>> Sounds like a Dot Com Beatz beat tag… Okay, hearin’ more of an actual beat, here. Tha rhymes are only okay fa me… Matta fact, they slowly get betta, though. Disappointed dat I’m not hearin’ shit about blunts or “L’s”? Thought dat was what tha title was? My Rating: 3.4
10. “This Is For The Girls”
>>> A lil’ cheesy for tha beginning; not sure if I can take dis serious… Too calm fa me and more fa tha “girls,” not hoes. My Rating: 2.1
11. “Dyking”
LOL? Iz this a new movement or somethin’? >>> Afta tha long intro, tha beat’s soundin’ a lil’ on tha above-average tip. A cheesy “girls” song turned into a “dyke” song, lol? Rhymes are pretty catchy, too. LOL @ this topic… like, really, lol? My Rating: 3.7
½time: Damn, not even one 4.0-rated song, so far? Meanwhile, I think tha previous CD I reviewed was all 4.0s? Only a 3.1-rated CD, currently; guess it’s back to tha original beats!!
12. “Fletch” Feat. Mr. Fantastic
>>> Damn, this iz worse! You think I can handle 5.5 minutes of dis? Tha featured artist doesn’t sound like he’s rappin’? Damn-near skipped dis! My Rating: 1.0
13. “Mr. Louisiana” Feat. T-Tyrant
Betta not ruin tha title… >>> Back to a lil’ of tha normal music. Not bad wit how this sounds; it’s nothin’ too entertainin’ fa me. Damn, T-Tyrant sounds betta? Tha people that were easily worse are betta now? Call this tha “Opposite Tha Features” mixtape or somethin’. My Rating: 3.5
14. “Gucci”
>>> Damn, an actual good beat? Finally! Afta 13 songs; a lil’ too long of a wait! I knew afta dat “don’t pop pillz” false stereotype in tha beginning dat somethin’ was gonna piss me off/not sound 100% good fa me. Tha rhymes ain’t bad, here; tha beat holds it down (must be Dot Com?). My Rating: 3.8
15. “Killin’ These Rappers”
>>> ½ interestin’ intro, ½ scary at tha same time. Didn’t realize what it was ‘til I heard you sing it. For some reason, I think I gon be interested in dis… Sounds way too different from a black/hood/rapper person. I can’t, for some reason, picturin’ someone starin’ at tha singin’ in tha beginning; I dunno why… As far as tha verses, they’re decent, once again; nothin’ was more entertainin’ than hearin’ tha singin’, surprisingly. LOL @ tha “k—killin’” part, too. My Rating: 3.7
16. “Money”
>>> Sounds like a bullshit song, beat; whateva. No comment; a lil’ betta than what tha average rapper would spit about “money” on a jacked beat. My Rating: 2.2
17. “Floetry” Feat. D.O.T.
>>> Damn, anotha hot beat intro! Talk about 100% video-gamed out, here, lol!! What’s up wit “Floetry” bein’ tha title, since it’s a group’s name? Doesn’t sound like it does wit them; I guess you’re tha one flowin’. Tha rhymes weren’t bad; you sounded good on this beat. D.O.T.’s spittin’ his earthquakes, as always!! My Rating: 4.3
18. “Ole Earnest”
Uh oh, a song ova five minutes long… >>> Weak start for me; barely gonna listen ta dis. I’m tryna get away from tha East Coast; don’t need ta hear more of people in visionin’ what they’d be like if they made East Coast-soundin’ music! Somewhat-good rhymes… My Rating: 3.0
19. “Whole Lott (Remix)” Feat. BBE Fam
LOL, what a bunch of cheating here!! >>> Didn’t know what ta expect once I heard tha beginning before tha ID but yea, this ain’t too bad fa a remix. You don’t really see too many remixes, these dayz. LOL, almost sounded like Lil’ Cali on tha 1st verse (I think you had tha long intro? I’m a lil’ confused). Anyway, pretty-good verses… I know D.O.T. always has some sorta stand out! My Rating: 4.2
20. “Half-Baked”
>>> Yucky John Legend start? Do I need ta hear dis right now? Some of tha rhymes are not-so-bad… My Rating: 2.6
21. “Motivated” Feat. T-Pain
Iz there an error in tha title? It says, “motivatated”? Too many “at”s? >>> Yea, I see yours on YouTube and tha title’s spelled wrong. Anyway, not sure why I’m listenin’ ta a T-Pain song, right now, but he sounds a lot betta than usual, lol. Funny dat I actually sat here and listened ta dis. Your rhymes are pretty-good, despite tha stupid voice effect. Originally a positive review fa dis song, it became mixed. My Rating: 3.5
22. “Whip My Dreads”
>>> ROFL. When I first saw dis title, I was like, “ooh, gonna be a really great new song!” But, “Whip My Hair” iz here, lol. Nothin’ really special fa an endin’; I do like tha hook about “(whippin’) … dreads,” ya dig? You, at least, had a lil’ bit of catchiness, here! My Rating: 3.9
Overall: Maybe jacked beats aren’t your thing? I guess for me, they ain’t. Betta luck next time, no offense. To add: at least there was no “Pretty Boy Swag” garbage.
