Review #10 for today: James Jackson, who celebrated a birthday yesterday; shout out ta him! Known for bein’ featured on some Lajah Music Group CDs, this iz his own CD, “King James Versions (Chapter 1)”; I think he was a good rapper… Either way, some of tha tags on DatPiff were a lil’ scary for me; I have ta like Drake or Kanye West ta like dis? Hope dat ain’t tha case… It would’ve been betta if tha description, or tags, had tha label you’re signed to so I know you’re not unsigned or whateva. Start Time: 7:57 PM | End Time: 8:17 PM
Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it. Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. “Breath Of Fresh Air”
Hope it’s good! >>> *Rolls eyes* Here we go wit tha jacked beats again… At least you’re not wack wit tha rhymes but still, better beat? My Rating: 3.3
02. “I Mean Business”
>>> Not my cup of tea for tha beat chosen but let’s see what happens… Just decent fa me. Tha hook’s pretty good… My Rating: 3.1
03. “Bragging Rights”
>>> Too long of an intro; anotha weak beat… Somewhat-good rhymes but really low interest fa me. My Rating: 2.6
04. “Bet The Bank”
>>> A lil’ betta wit tha beat you chose but it’s still dry fa me; tha rappin’ iz a lil’ betta fa me, too. My Rating: 3.4
05. “Legendary”
>>> Nothin’ special, unfortunately; why doesn’t anything switch up? My Rating: 2.7
06. “Southern Confort”
>>> Ugh, these beats; talk about keepin’ my patience up! Hate ta say it, but this iz your best, so far; I guess it’s this beat dat makes people let good shit out? My Rating: 3.4
07. “Relations”
>>> Dammit wit these weak beats! Interestin’ “Calliope Var” call out. Nothin’ special; tha hook doesn’t even sound like it would eva catch my attention! This iz more for females, not dudes like me. My Rating: 2.4
08. “Copastetic”
>>> I can’t even comment some of these good titles ‘cause tha not-so-good shit comes outta each song. Sounds like you’re tryin’ wit some shit ta offer but it’s nothin’ dat would impress me. My Rating: 2.8
½time: 3.0, currently.
09. “Light Up”
>>> Better rhymes; least you tryin’, this time. Either way, this ain’t tha kinda shit I’d hear on a daily/weekly/typical basis. My Rating: 3.2
10. “Grew Up Fast”
>>> ROFL @ this beat. Tha rhymes are not bad and it’s only decent fa me, overall. My Rating: 3.0
11. “Monte Carlo Music”
Not here. My Rating: N/A
12. “Top Suite”
>>> Tha way you’re rappin’ this sounds like one of tha mainstream rappers out right now; not much ta say… My Rating: 2.9
13. “Sack Chasers”
>>> Back to tha weak beats. I don’t know what ta say ‘bout dis…; not for me. My Rating: 2.2
14. “Current Events”
Not here. My Rating: N/A
15. “Out Of This World”
>>> Scary tags goin’ on; must be a bad choice of a beat. C’mon wit tha long intro… No interest and no comment from me. My Rating: 2.3
16. “Dead Presidents”
Damn, why you fuckin’ up tha tracklisting? >>> SMH @ this beat; GTFOH! No comment! My Rating: 1.8
17. “Verbal Assault”
File error on tha DatPiff player. My Rating: N/A
Overall: I dunno what it iz today wit these CDs I’m reviewin’… Why was damn-near every beat chosen weak?
