My next review I was ‘pose ta do last year. Instead, I put it in my Louisiana Reviewz Marathon. However, this can easily go wit last year ‘cause it has nothing ta do wit me reviewin’ it this year. From 2007, here’s my review for JokaBoi & Yella Yella “Mixtape ‘07”. Really, there’s no title but I’ll just call it “Mixtape ‘07”. Also, there’s no tracklisting. Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it. Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

½time: A 3.2-rated CD, currently; tha unknown titles and jacked beats are somewhat gettin’ ta me.

Sounds like y’all added a lil’ Louisiana twist in tha hook, here, wit tha “hoe, they don’t know about me,” as it repeats throughout tha 2nd ½ of tha hook! Damn, not dis silence, again! Nothin’ much ta say ‘bout dis… My Rating: 2.3

>>> ROFL, just randomly appeared ta be a Guss beat! Sounds catchy fa tha ladies, here, wit tha “damn…” shit. Cool lil’ song, here, fa tha ’07 dayz. I’m feelin’ tha beat and how y’all collaborate, here. My Rating: 3.8

However, I wanna see what y’all did on this beat. LOL, it’s her in tha beginning, instead, what tha hell? LOL, afta 1:10, tha rappin’ comes and it sounds hella funny on dis beat. Tha content ain’t really fa me but I’ll give this a lil’ prop fa holdin’ down tha hard times. LOL, 2:19 made Avril return! And, nothin’ else but her was left. My Rating: 2.6

Guess dis a “fight song” fa tha “lights on” and vice-versa, lol! Sounds like a good song, overall; thumbs up fa tha “fight song” and tha verses. My Rating: 3.7

>>> Not really my style wit tha jacked beat, here. I’m not likin’ tha 20+ second intro; iz it eva gonna start? Okay, I hear some shit, finally. Once again, not my kinda song, so I can’t say much… My Rating: 1.5


Overall: Well, I didn’t like this too much; y’all prolly way betta, now!
