Tryna do at least five reviewz for today… This next one iz Lil’ Cali “Da Resurrection (Hosted by DJ 5150)”! Start Time: 6:15 PM | End Time: 6:49 PM


Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it. Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

Looks like it gon be a song… >>> LOL @ tha ‘bleeped’ out parts in tha intro; sounds like they were mad. As for tha song creepin’ in, tha production’s pretty interestin’, here! You know you comin’ through wit tha catchy shit, here; gotta feel what you got! “Yz’Gyz”? I thought Derrick from tha label said you weren’t on there anymore (as of May 2010)? Anyway, glad you’re on it ‘cause you got shit on lock! Good job wit this “intro”! My Rating: 4.4


02. “Fuck What U Think”
An attitude! >>> You’re gettin’ betta and betta wit each mixtape, although I think “Enemy Of The State”’ll be your best; this might be best as far as havin’ less features! Nice attitude and, of course, you feel good on every track you hop on! My Rating: 4.5


03. “I’ll Put It On Ya” Feat. Spitta, Clever Kev & Yung Bies
Yes, a collaboration!! Talk about big dawgs; let’s get it!! >>> Tha start’s hot, immediately, wit Spitta on it!! LOL, outta nowhere, found out dat J Buc’s doin’ tha beat, here! Ooh, very gangsta wit tha hook, Cali; dumb shit!! Damn, shit gets betta and betta tha more you breathe, Cali, lol! As good as it was ta have Spitta on tha intro, he had ta have his own verse, too!! Comin’ through on tha 2nd verse wit dat tight-ass shit, Spitta doin’ tha damn thang!! “Graveyard’ll be ya houses!” Thumbs up ta tha 3rd verse, too; gutta-ass shit!! Wait a second… Izn’t Clever Kev Spitta? Thought it was him when I added him on Facebook? I’m confused… My Rating: 4.8

LOL, iz this old? >>> Guess this iz new but wit a nearly-tha-same title. Tha hook doesn’t sound like Kevin Gates’s collaboration; sounds more like a Level song, which iz definitely hella tight!!! I feel like I can get high off of how Level delivers his rhymes; they’re dat addictive!! You’re good wit this collaboration, Cali; a real nice follow-up from “Money Right”! Level has a crazy-ass 2nd verse; damn!! He just delivers dat hot-ass shit wit demand!!! My Rating: 4.9


05. “I Be Workin’” Feat. OJ Da Juiceman & DJ B-Real
Interestin’ collaboration; let’s hear dis! >>> Hook sounds like DJ B-Real; did he produce dis ‘cause he’s on tha hook? LOL @ tha “fried chicken;” have I heard dis before? Sounds pretty tight wit what you comin’ wit, Cali! OJ soundin’ good, too, a lil’… LOL, you keepin’ it goin’ wit tha 3rd verse, too; I heard dat “trap goin’ dumb” part before? I dunno why but I can’t figure out when I heard dis before… EDIT: Oh yea, dat CD wit Foxx! Rating it higher, lol! My Current Rating: 4.6

>>> *Brings out Alexia’s infamous, opposite line* I guess I jynxed it ‘cause tha 1st minute of tha song’s pretty disgusting (not content; how it sounds) for me. At least you have tha good vibes, Cal. Afta hearin’ tha hook once again, it’s not too bad; I think tha intro was bad fa me… My Rating: 2.5

>>> This sounds familiar, too; not sure where I heard dis… Anyway, you’re pretty catchy on dis shit, especially tha hook and your in-tha-mood voice ta deliver dis shit, lol. Chosen sounds good wit how he comes through wit his character, too! My Rating: 4.3

Lemme hear what you got here. >>> Anotha one dat sounds familiar but I think this iz new. LOL, this iz so gutta wit tha hook, lol!! Crazy shit wit tha explicit shit! LOL, who’s tha mysterious voice in tha background of tha 1st verse (dat called out your name)? Nice job wit tha whole song, overall! My Rating: 4.5

LOL @ spellin’ Locco’s name without an extra “C”. >>> LOL, gotta feel how Locco emerges wit his Southern voice, lol. LOL, here you come on tha track, comin’ through wit tha good shit… My Rating: 4.2

Ooh, interestin’ collaboration! >>> Alexia! Tha title says it in a certain way, through her perspective! Catchy hook…; you got shit goin’ on in tha 1st verse, here! What else can I expect from you when you keep shit on ‘n’ poppin’? Money Bagz on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit his Bad Azz Ent.-type shit; nice job… My Rating: 4.3


12. “Way Better” Feat. Carter Boy & Chosen
Gremlins style, here! >>> A smooth start, here… Carter Boy sounds catchy in tha beginning, here; feelin’ tha rhymes when it comes ta tha pain-in-tha-ass-type girlz! SMH, what’s up wit tha weird hook? A lil’ catchy on this beat but a lil’ weird, too. Here comes tha normal Cali on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through fa tha girlz—they gotta pay attention, lol! Chosen on tha 3rd verse, here, comin’ through wit good shit… My Rating: 3.7

>>> I assume this iz tha Coline from Max Minelli’s “The Remedy” CD? Must be…; catchy hook, here! I like how she sounds—just-as-good fa you, Cal! You got yo shit on lock, here, too, Cal; nice vibe, overall. My Rating: 4.1


14. “Shout Out To My Haters” Feat. Chico
>>> Damn, cool sounds in tha beginning of this beat; J Buc on tha beat? That’s who I assume wit tha cool sounds! LOL @ this hook! A lil’ familiar but how you deliver it sounds hella catchy, Cal! LOL @ how you randomly said, “bruh;” good shit. Chico sounds tight on this collaboration; a lil’ on tha Level attitude, lol! My Rating: 4.5


15. “Stuck On Myself”
>>> Steve! ROFL @ how you sound wit these lyrics, Cal; interestin’ hook! Sounds like somethin’ Nu$$ie or tha DCF fam would rap about (I guess ‘cause one of their songs was “Born My Myself”; tha “myself” adds dat attribute). Again, this iz anotha good song from you; can’t ask fa anything betta, at times! My Rating: 4.3

>>> “Ya Herd?!” Alexia’s got her interview show on lock!! Whoa! “Sicka than some throw up,” lol? Crazy Cali!! This hook’s betta than tha previous one! Glad you come through wit dat consistent shit dat’s “dumb as ever,” gettin’ betta, too! My Rating: 4.4

Anotha Chosen feature… >>> Pretty-good-soundin’ song, here, Cal; no complainin’, as you always come through wit a different anthem! Chosen adds good shit ta dis, especially on tha hook! My Rating: 4.2

What will tha last joint sound like wit only you on it? >>> Holy shit, I couldn’t figure out when and where I heard dis! Damn, I played it on my radio show thanx ta Jimmy The DJ for tellin’ me back last October! Overall, a decent/pretty-good song fa you, once again; likin’ tha catchy hook! My Current Rating: 4.2
