This next review I got on deck iz A-One (Wissel) & Lil’ One The Champ “Gift Rap”! Start Time: 9:55 PM | End Time: 10:32 PM
Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it. Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. “Fast Life” Feat. Killa Kyleon
Interestin’ collaboration; let’s see how dis turns out… >>> Sounds like a pretty-good start, here, wit Wissel in tha beginning. Lil’ One adds a lil’ somethin’ to tha hook; sounds pretty nice… Good job from him on tha 2nd verse, too… Killa Kyleon’s on tha 3rd verse; interestin’ connection and it sounds good, too. Tha beat keeps err-body motivated! My Rating: 4.3
02. “Figure Four” Feat. Spitta
Looks anticipatin’! >>> Long beat intro but it’s pretty nice once Lil’ One comes in! LOL, what’s wit tha cocky-ass shit he spittin’? Nothin’ else? Where’s tha diversity? Tha hook’s catchy; I like dis title. SMH, 1’s cocky, too? Someone I wanna hear wit cockiness: Spitta; let’s see what he’s got… Good, tha tough attitude, here, lol. Overall, nice job, especially from Spitta! My Rating: 4.2
03. “Ridin’” Feat. Ronny My
>>> Joe doin’ tha beat, here. I would take tha intro serious if I eva got any hard copies in tha mail. But, for now, smh… LOL, him wit tha sample on tha hook (just like wit Box’s “Top Notch” wit Jimi Jump). This sounds like a good, smooth track. A nice, smooth 1st verse from Wissel, here. Mo nice shit from One on tha 2nd verse—oh wait, tha both of y’all are “One”s, lol. Okay, Lil’ One… Ronny My’s on tha 3rd verse and it’s a lil’ mainstream for me but it still blends in, somewhat, wit tha mood. My Rating: 4.0
04. “Millionaire” Feat. Junior
I assume dat’s Lil’ Junior on tha feature? >>> G-Motivation producin’; decent, so far… LOL @ Lil’ One startin’ off wit tha 1st verse; pretty good… Tha punchlines are good, here ‘n’ there… Wissel’s on tha 2nd verse; decent… Not really into tha “grown-up” talk goin’ on, though. Junior sounds good/decent on tha 3rd verse… Overall, this iz an okay song. My Rating: 3.7
05. “Cut Buddy”
LOL, no features… >>> Pretty-good for a smooth beat… I hear tha cockiness in Lil’ One, here; no wonder why I don’t take some of these songs that serious… Same thing wit Wissel’s 2nd verse; all these things he doin’ iz more important than sendin’ me music? No homo? My Rating: 3.7
06. Skit
>>> Sounds good; why no Diamondz? Even a cocky skit? My Rating: N/A
07. “Movie” Feat. Lil’ Mista
I think this’ll be good, regardless of what it sounds like… >>> Tha intro sounded a lil’ anticipatin’… SMH @ tha Drake flow from Lil’ One as well as this typical shit goin’ on; I don’t get how people call this “different”? My music’s “different”! A-One’s on tha 1st verse and surprised he mentioned “Doe-Doe”; meanwhile, he hasn’t appeared on dis CD? How’d he remember him? Lil’ One sounds betta on tha 2nd verse; betta than dat stupid flow from earlier. Mista’s on tha 3rd verse; where’s this flow comin’ from in tha beginning? Either way, likin’ tha consistent shit he spittin’. See, I knew dis would be pretty-good fa me… My Rating: 4.1
08. “Fuck A Patna” Feat. Taylor Jay
>>> I like these intros, in a way. Then again, they sound mainstream at tha same time… Tha hook’s decent…; cockiness always comes wit “money,” which, who tha hell knows why “money”’s such a focus? For me, that’s not my focus; actually networkin’ wit people iz! Look how far I’m gettin’ ‘cause of it! LOL, Taylor’s a girl? I dunno about fittin’ in wit this cocky-soundin’ “money” song; prolly could’ve been a “fuckin’” song… A-One has a smooth verse on tha 3rd verse, which sounds a lil’ betta than this whole song. My Rating: 3.6
½time: I think this iz a good project but not on a Louisiana level; 3.9-rated CD, currently.
09. “Money Train” Feat. $hizz
LOL @ tha feature; lookin’ forward, in a way… >>> Iz dat him on tha hook? He sounds much younger… This iz good but I keep gettin’ thrown off wit where $hizz iz… Okay, finally, there he iz on tha 2nd verse; sounds good, even though he’s money-obsessive, too, lol. LOL @ tha “a fat nigga” part; random. It must’ve been Wissel on tha 1st verse ‘cause Lil’ One’s on tha 3rd verse, wit a good voice ta hold dis down… Not too cocky, in a way, so this iz somethin’ I can handle. My Rating: 3.9
10. “What You Mean” Feat. Level
This CD doesn’t sound like Level could fit in it… >>> A D. Jackson beat? This doesn’t even sound like somethin’ he’d rap on… Wissel’s aight wit his rappin’; I like it, a lil’ bit… Tha hook from Lil’ One’s pretty good; I like tha “what you mean” and motivational sound. LOL, Level on tha 2nd verse? Of course, a gun had ta be in this… LOL, “if you ain’t talkin’ ass, then still don’t call my phone;” he has people wit “ass” ta “call (his) phone”? In-person, not no phone; save dat for tha business. LOL, there’s always a full plate wit this CD; no one’s eva missin’ from tha songs. I like tha real-soundin’ rhymes in tha 3rd verse from Lil’ One; not bad. My Rating: 4.0
11. Skit
Anotha one… >>> No comment, unfortunately. My Rating: N/A
12. “Mrs. Late Night” Feat. Jimi Jump
>>> Not inta tha beat that much, but it has a good vibe to it at times… Lil’ One sounds good wit tha rappin’; why all tha grown-up talk? I hope you’re not forced ta say some of dis shit! Tha hook’s catchy; nice all tha way through. Here’s A-One, comin’ through wit cockiness; how weird dat this shit’s more important than gettin’ me CDs? Even claimin’ an award? You know claimin’ a winner was wrong; I learned my lesson! Jimi’s on tha 3rd verse; I like how descriptive he gets wit tha rhymes without soundin’ cocky; good shit. My Rating: 3.8
13. “Big Deal” Feat. Puppy & Nasty Nate Da Gyno
>>> Didn’t know what dat was in tha beginning but it must be Puppy on tha beat ‘cause I heard a “Puppy I’ll Hit Ya”, lol. Tha beat’s definitely nice and tha hook’s more normal than some of tha shit on here. Tha 1st verse’s Wissel and it’s not bad… Puppy’s voice was almost a lil’ different from me ta tell, at first, but I can tell, now; sounds good… Nasty’s comin’ through on tha 3rd verse; he sounds grown-up, too… Either way, tha flow’s catchy. LOL, Lil’ One, you always gotta be angry wit tha voice, lol? My Rating: 4.2
14. “Be The Boss” Feat. Daem
>>> Why does this sound so soft? What’s wit tha jail-related beginning on a soft beat like dis? Always shit dat doesn’t match… At least tha lyrics from Lil’ One’s good on tha 1st verse… Damn, what a gay hook. Damn, tha rest of this just went downhill?! I can’t get a CD but A-Tune can come into a song? Why all tha gayness? I thought y’all were grown-up? I rather hear tha cockiness!! My Rating: 1.7
15. “Legendary”
>>> Same producer from dat pathetic last song (T-Motor?); this sounds betta. Okay, we have tha tightness from Lil’ One on tha 1st verse; hope it doesn’t go downhill again! “I been thuggin’ since I was three-feet tall;” izn’t dat what everyone raps about? Wissel’s on tha 2nd verse, and I don’t have much ta say; I think this CD’s endin’… My Rating: 3.5
16. “Something Serious”
>>> Damn, this iz long for an endin’ song… Not too interested in tha beat but whoa, lol @ dat hook!! Finally, somethin’ entertainin’ goin’ on here!! Good thing Lil’ One’s comin’ through wit tight rhymes on dis; caught me off-guard wit dis one!! LOL, what a shitload of rhymes!! Wissel sounds aight but this should’ve been all Lil’ One. Keep Wissel wit tha smokin’/X-rated shit, not tha freestylin’ shit. Easily, tha best one from this CD; came a lil’ close wit tha 1st song! My Rating: 4.5
Overall: Of course, tha CD wit Doe-Doe was far-betta than this. But, at least this iz anotha project that got out there. Good job collaboratin’; keep ‘em comin’! Also, I see tha production credits…
