Review #1,000: Low-Down "Tales Of Da South"

Reviewed on 6.10.2011 (Review #1,000)

Whoooooooooo!!!!!!!!!! How’d I get to my 8th review of tha day already?!? For ya information, this iz my 1,000th review, overall!!! Here’s tha magical moment for… Houma’s own, Low-Down “Tales Of Da South, released on Elusion Records!!!!!!!!!! Tha last time a figure went up, it was on July 14, 2008, when I did my 100th review for Jimmy The DJ’s classic, “Gangsta Gumbo Vol. 2: Ghetto Pass”! Now, after almost three years, I went up to a four-figure number of reviewz!!! LOL, how many years/decades will it take for tha five-figure digit? LOL, you know I’ll stay grindin’!! Start Time: 12:47 PM | End Time: 1:10 PM

Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it. Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

14. “Mr. 9 – Interlude”
LOL, let’s see what this dude has ta say… >>> Sounds like a song, regardless of tha “interlude” bein’ in tha title. For it bein’ a song, tha beat’s okay and tha quick rhymes ta “Mr. 9” iz what’s up! My Rating: 3.8

15. “Tales Of Da South”
Tha title track; let’s hear it! >>> Tha beat’s nice and smooth, on a funky level, and tha rhymes are good, too. I think you have an error on tha front cover wit tha apostrophe wit “Tales’”… Feelin’ tha street content you’re continuin’ ta bring to tha track, ya dig? My Rating: 4.1
