Reviewed on 6.27.2011 (Review #1,006)
A day behind wit tha current reviewz but fuck it; I’ll take as long as I want! My 1st review for today iz D Boy Repasenta & Piz Corleone “Most Known Unknowns”; neva heard D Boy before, but I know of him from online! Start Time: 10:40 AM | End Time: 11:03 AM
Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it. Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. “N My Zone”
Lookin’ forward ta hearin’! >>> Sounds good—almost like a Vybe beat, lol; good combo, it sounds like! Tha hook’s pretty addictive and tha 1st verse sounds pretty good, here. I know there’s a new CD from one of y’all that I gon review; lookin’ forward ta dat! Y’all almost sound tha same wit tha voice? Good, identical-type shit, lol. Tha 2nd verse iz pretty nice wit dat rapid rappin’!! My Rating: 4.7
02. “I Want It All”
Let’s hear dis! >>> Sounds like a good song, here; ooh, tha hook has a “Paper Junkie” feel wit tha regular/screwed voice!! Really likin’ how D Boy’s comin’ through on tha 1st verse; I really like dat shit before tha 1st verse ends wit dat “Corleone said, ‘take my time.’” part! Tha 2nd verse sounds like a catchy delivery although I almost felt like it was off-beat, fa a second, lol. My Rating: 4.7
03. “Big Booty”
LOL. >>> Sounds tight; can’t deny tha hook wit this addictive-soundin’ beat wit tha repetitiveness! Tha 1st ½ of tha 1st verse I can’t really tolerate, although it ain’t tha worst… Not really inta tha 2nd verse, either; guess tha voice effect has ta go? Not a good way ta follow tha previous songs! My Rating: 3.6
04. “Burnin’ Dosha (Remix)”
Thought it looked like I seen this title so many times but between album titles and song titles, I guess this iz a new remix, lol. >>> Okay; short length, lol? Tha beat could’ve been betta but it gives tha undaground feel, at least. Tha 2nd verse sounds more my style wit these “dosha” rhymes! I rememba tha “towel behind tha door” shit; lol, tha ’06 – ’08 dayz at my 1st college! Feel like I miss those moments… some of ‘em! My Rating: 4.4
05. “Lime Light”
Prolly tha 1st time I heard D Boy; good contribution, here! My Current Rating: 4.4
06. “Let’s Talk About”
… Sex? LOL? >>> Sounds funny wit tha Lil’ Wayne sample although tha “let’s talk about” sample sounds a lil’ cheesy; odd blend dat sounds like it’s takin’ a while to start… Not givin’ an “F-U-C-K;” you know what it iz! Not bad wit tha rhymes; my interest iz here… Tha 2nd verse iz soundin’ aight; kinda short since tha 1st minute was mostly a hook, lol. My Rating: 3.8
½time: A 4.3-rated CD, currently; you know what it iz!!! Nothin’ but dat consistent, 225-type shit dat I gotta luv!!
07. “F.W.M.”
Like this title… >>> Sounds good for a start; anotha long intro/hook, lol. Damn, too much gayness goin’ on wit tha vocals! My Rating: 3.0
08. “Ridin’ Low”
>>> ROFL @ tha Ross sample for tha hook! Rhymes are aight, here; not sure what ta say… Good thing tha 2nd verse doesn’t have a Wayne/Drake flow ‘cause tha rhymes and punchlines are pretty catchy! I also like tha live-action scene of gettin’ weed, lol! My Rating: 4.2
09. “Dealing With The Devil”
“Dealings” or “Dealing”? I gon trust tha back cover by Hawk… >>> Bad start wit this ‘60s-ish sample; sounds too sour… I don’t really have much to say about this; barely caught my interest. My Rating: 2.4
10. “Dreams Of A R&B Diva”
>>> Too bad this shit’s goin’ downhill; at least they’re only two or three-minute songs and not no four or five-minute songs! Tha hook sounds like somethin’ I’ve heard from someone else so this ain’t original or nothin’ for me. My Rating: 1.7
11. “Real Good” Feat. Rich Kidd Junior
Ooh, tha Lil’ Junior dude on tha feature? >>> Piz on tha beat? I have a feelin’ this sample’s gonna be Three 6 and their fam, lol? Yup, I was right; thought it was gonna be pretty fast but this iz like some good-soundin’, Memphis-type shit! Likin’ tha 1st verse; I like tha explicit rhymes outta nowhere, lol. Also, lots of parts from tha “Slob On My Knob” song outta nowhere, too, lol! Tha 2nd verse sounds good; pretty serious and lol @ all these random “Slob On My Knob” parts! Tha 3rd verse sounds like Jr. and even though it was a short part, he did a nice job fa bein’ featured… My Rating: 4.3
12. “Loud Pack (Remix)” Feat. Mel 985, Slick Willie, Supa, Big World, J.Hu$tle & Baby B
Whoo, what a lineup!!! No Greg, lol? There was no room for all tha features on tha back cover, lol! >>> Sounds like a good song, or should I say, remix; nice job wit tha 1st verse, weed-obsessive style, lol! Oh, a 2nd part to tha 1st verse? Sounds good/nice and relaxin’! Tha start to tha 2nd verse’s soundin’ good; nothin’ but some good, Piz-soundin’ content, lol! Wait, did I miss D Boy? I know tha two of you sound nearly tha same, lol? My bad but everything’s good… Here’s tha 3rd verse… Supa!! Consistent rhymin’, here! Glad ta have him on this! You know dat one of my favorite “big” artists iz on tha 2nd ½ of tha 3rd verse… Big World!! Yes, some J.Hu$tle shit; glad he got a followin’ in tha streetz and has buku luv fa these drugs, lol! I believe that was an addition to tha 3rd verse! Oh, Baby B’s on tha 4th verse? ROFL, I wasn’t sure who that was, at first; real glad you hooked up wit her, too! Did this collaboration come about from Hannibal, lol? Looks like a big family, here! She’s pretty serious wit her contribution, doin’ tha damn thang! LOL, she don’t stop!! LOL, anotha part to tha 4th verse; pretty serious wit tha fastness!! Plus, tha kushtastic content!! LOL, “game over” ending; gotta get dis one on my radio show! It’s all about multiple/as many artists as possible!! My Rating: 4.8
Overall: A couple songs threw tha rating off its balance but I thought there were a bunch of bangerz on here; thumbs up fa this nice collaboration project!!
