Reviewed on 6.08.2011 (Review #984)
This’ll be my last review for tonight, #7: Faces Of Death “Countdown 2 Death”, anotha artist I played on my radio show, I believe! Start Time: 11:26 PM | End Time: 11:52 PM
Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it. Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. “The Intro Of Death”
Let’s hear how spooky and tight this iz!! >>> Nice beat for tha intro… LOL, iz tha song eva gonna start? At 1:05, tha beat turned inta what would become a Hip-Hop sound; damn, y’all keep anticipatin’ me! Rappin’ finally started ‘bout 1:41 and it’s soundin’ great wit all these punchlines; holdin’ shit down fa tha hoods of New Orleans!! Pretty-crazy rhymes goin’ on throughout this track; y’all tore it ta pieces!! My Rating: 4.5
02. “Tru 2 Dis”
>>> Sounds a lil’ quiet wit tha vocals in tha beginning… I’m startin’ ta hear ‘em betta and tha rhymes are good; these punchlines are frequent and sound great ta hear! I like how this beat sounds; puts you in a great, Louisiana mood!! Tha hook sounds pretty good wit this beat and tha sounds! Thumbs up fa spittin’ some good shit fa tha hood; y’all representin’ in a great way! My Rating: 4.2
03. “Roc Spot”
Looks like a tight topic… >>> Sounds like Eazy-E beat sample in tha background as well as a skit goin’ on… LOL, what a long intro, here; sounds like a hot, Sunny day in tha hood… Okay, afta a lil’ afta a minute-and-a-half, tha rappin’s beginnin’ wit tha beat and it’s soundin’ tight, as always! Good, old-ass-soundin’ rhymes, here; gotta luv tha oldies!! LOL @ that sample, soundin’ like N.W.A., no less; y’all know what y’all doin’ fa dis Rap shit!! Tha 2nd verse iz pretty good, too; lol @ how short it was! LOL, no wonder, a 3rd verse had ta fit in here and it sounds great!! Gotta luv tha drug-related shit goin’ on, here! My Rating: 4.4
04. “Soldierfied”
Looks like a good title… >>> A gurl on tha hook? She sounds good wit this plain/good-soundin’ beat… Here y’all are wit tha rappin’ and it sounds good, although a lil’ quiet, once again. Again, y’all came through wit some interestin’ shit ta listen to; keep these jamz comin’! My Rating: 4.1
05. “9 Inches”
LOL, what’s this? >>> LMAO, I knew it had ta do wit “dick,” no less an intro skit ta go wit dis! Entertainin’, especially tha orgasm in tha background! Hearin’ tha beat kick in and it sounds good fa dis; we ‘bout ta jam, lol! LOL @ tha punchlines, this time; catchy as fuck, no matter what topic we’re talkin’ ‘bout!! LOL, one of tha funniest songs ta listen to!! Glad there’s a female in this shit, too! ROFL, even a hook dat provides a sample wit tha title, lol! My Rating: 4.7
06. “Killa Facualty”
Looks like a good title… >>> LOL, one of those long beat intros dat sounds tight, here, lol. Hearin’ tha rhymes and they’re nice, once again; holdin’ shit down fa seven minutes? Damn, y’all know how ta keep interest in tha listeners! Some interestin’ voices goin’ on, here; thumbs up fa tha consistent quality wit a great attitude! My Rating: 4.3
½time: Nothin’ but great music I’m reviewin’!! A 4.3-rated CD y’all currently have!!!
07. “Countdown 2 Death”
Looks like a title I played on my Halloween show due to tha title. >>> Not sure if I rememba but this sounds pretty good; tha vocals sound a lil’ on tha Bounce tip but tha content iz definitely on a dark, gangsta tip! Really likin’ this “countdown,” lol; definitely tha good, quality-soundin’, gutta shit ta listen to!! Straight to tha point wit these “death”-related rhymes dat sound tight; thumbs up, guys!! My Rating: 4.6
08. “Nuthin’ But Drama”
>>> Maybe it was this song? LOL, I don’t remember… Actually, now dat I’m hearin’ all tha hi-hats, I think this one played on my radio show; kick-ass start wit tha hi-hats!!! Even down ta tha rhymes; straight kick-ass wit tha gangsta content!!! Lots goin’ on, here; y’all tearin’ dis bitch up!!! LOL @ tha bird cherpin’ in tha background, too; weird, lol? My Rating: 4.7
09. “187 Scotland”
A good title; let’s hear dis… >>> Interestin’ phone call in tha beginning… LOL, tha rhymes are good but they sound off-beat, lol? This iz a good collaboration wit whoeva tha female iz; kinda long but it goes… LOL, tha dude dat counts ‘round 4:40 sounds like my boy Murdafeen!! My Rating: 4.3
10. “Tru 2 Dis (Radio Edit)”
LOL, we got a radio edit… See #2 fa tha review!
11. “Soldierfied (Radio Edit)”
See #4 fa tha review!
12. “Live Execution”
Looks like a tight title ta end thangz off… >>> LOL, here comes an intro, again… This beat’s nice and I’m likin’ how this hook sounds; pretty serious, at times… Here comes tha rappin’ at 1:52, finally; ooh, a date: “June 28!” Sounds like somethin’ serious since you were “fulla dat gin!” Good job wit tha rhymes and holdin’ this joint down! My Rating: 4.3
Overall: This CD became a five-star-rated CD; who would’ve guessed? I thought most of tha songs were on a decent level fa songs I luved on a 1st listen. Either way, y’all did a nice job; keep up tha great work!!
