Got my 2nd review for today: BluBlack & Butla “Da Cook Book”; finally released, I see? Or, iz it older than 2011? Start Time: 12:00 PM | End Time: 12:48 PM


Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it. Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. “My Swagg”
Startin’ off wit a “swagg” song? >>> Beat sounds pretty tight but not inta tha whisperin’ of “swagg, swagg” shit in tha beginning… Despite tha dislike, I like this hook; sounds catchy wit tha way Butla sounds! Sounds like a funny-soundin’ Butla on tha 1st verse; feelin’ this flow from him! “Polo from tha socks up;” gotta luv it! Almost like a Dae~Dae feel, here, too; glad all y’all fuck wit each other! LOL, BluBlack on tha 2nd verse; gotta luv all tha shit goin’ on!! LOL, “Donald Duck,” plus a ton of other shit goin’ on, here! Really feelin’ tha consistentness wit tha catchy-ass voice!! Overall, you know you can’t deny somethin’ like dis!! My Rating: 4.4


02. “Husleboi” Feat. Level
LOL, no “t” in “hustle” and it’s a compound word; let’s see what’s good wit dis! >>> Likin’ this beat betta; very interestin’, here, wit tha catchiness!! “You know I’m” luvin’ tha hook!! ROFL, Blu, “big dick in my draws” ta start off tha 1st verse? Talk about crazy shit; real glad this CD’s finally available!! So much shit goin’ on in tha 1st verse from Blu!! Did he mention “Doe-Doe” wit Paypa Talk Records? Wasn’t sure exactly who it was but whateva tha connection iz, I’m sure it’s tha shit! Whoo! Butla comin’ through “fresh like Aquafina” on tha 2nd verse; just gives me an 80 – 90-degree weather feel for this great Summer! ROFL, this song’s about hustlin’ and he even goin’ on… “she hot! Rubbin’ on my cock,” rofl!! Gotta luv how y’all represent real tight, to tha fullest!! LOL, forgot about tha feature; was wonderin’ who was gonna be on tha 3rd verse… LOL, he spelled “hustle” correct on tha 3rd verse, vs. tha title, lol! A lil’ cocky on tha 3rd verse; why can’t I upload his mixtapes on DatPiff but I did last year? Good verse; I like tha acapella ending, here! My Rating: 4.7


03. “Money, Clothes, Hoes”
LOL; I know this’ll be somethin’ good wit y’all on it! >>> “2009 shit;” sounds like dat shit I’d luv, instantly! I like tha interestin’, quiet-soundin’ vocals on tha hook; good shit, Blu! LOL, “toilet bowl” fa Blu on tha 1st verse, here; nothin’ but tha catchiness to tha max!! “Jiggaz in my socks, fuck tha cops;” thumbs up! Aye Blu, you rememba tha date and time you first heard, saw, had “jiggaz”? You know you gotta add dat spice!! Gotta luv dis hook and how it sounds, especially wit tha beat!!! Feelin’ Butla on tha 2nd verse wit tha flow; damn, it’s all about tha catchiness!!! “I’m diggin’ yo bitch asshole;” rofl! Lemme tell Alexia dat line and let her say, “what?!?,” like she did in my documentary! ROFL, that addictive BluBlack-soundin’ voice on tha hook!!! My Rating: 4.7

LOL, where’s tha “I”? Luv this entertainin’-ass shit!! >>> I’m real glad you have a “skit” goin’ on; guess my wish came true from tha “Code Blu” CD review! BTW, I’m in tha same exact spot I was in when I reviewed tha “Code Blu” CD: my grandma’s house in tha room I sleep in! What’s up wit this semi-weird-soundin’ voice? Are y’all voices’s pitches high? My Rating: N/A


05. “Maxed Out” Feat. Dae~Dae
I think there’s an extra “x”? I forget but here we are, again, 2009 style! Did I eva review this? Don’t think, so lemme give it a review! >>> Tha 1st official time I got a taste of J Buc and knowin’ who it was! Heard him on Lil’ Phat’s “Life Of A Yungsta Vol. 1” but barely knew who a bunch of people were back then, when I reviewed that CD in October 2008. Afta hearin’ dis beat, I thought J Buc was tha next BluBlack on tha beats! Catchy hook; was nice and fresh for tha Summer of ’09, thanx ta Hannibal sendin’ tha CD single to me in tha mail on August 14, 2009! Gotta feel how Blu comin’ through on tha 1st verse; everything a “cook book” has ta offer, lol! LOL, Butla definitely doesn’t want a “picky bitch,” here, on tha 2nd verse; gotta have tha full thang!! This was tha 2nd time I heard Dae~Dae and you know he blends in perfectly wit y’all on tha 3rd verse!! Most definitely, Dae~Dae!! SMH @ “probation;” lack of alertness! My Current Rating: 4.6


06. “Comin’ Thru” Feat. Needy Nee
Let’s hear dis collab! >>> Sounds like an A+ for tha production; really likin’ tha beginning beat!! LOL, tha hook’s pretty entertainin’ wit all tha street shit comin’ from Blu & Needy!! Needy’s on tha 1st verse and iz she eva comin’ through wit her CD? Sad thing about her iz that I neva got a response from her about my 2009 awards; too long, since it should’ve taken no more than two weeks… or a month! Feelin’ how she comin’ through fa err-body on tha 1st verse; definitely holdin’ her hood down! Ooh, Blu on tha 2nd verse, spittin’ some tight-ass club shit! I was actually intimidated by Blu bein’ 23 in 2009, goin’ ta clubs and shit. Once I was about ta turn 23 (a week ago), I was concerned about how long it would take me. But, tha 2nd day I was 23, I went to my 1st pub and did tha damn thang by performin’!! Good shit wit tha “dat Lane,” too, just like tha song! I neva knew dat it was a remake of U.N.L.V./Lil’ Boosie’s 2004 “That Iron”; dat must’ve been a discovery ta find dat! Butla’s on tha 3rd verse and it’s soundin’ good; pretty focused, here, as he’s “comin’ thru,” “thru” tha gurl’s “buttcheeks,” lol! My Rating: 4.6


07. “Daughters”
LOL, y’all obsessed wit makin’ babies! Not sure when my day’ll come but when it does, if my 1st kid iz a gurl, have anotha kid; if my 1st kid’s a guy, just have one, which iz my theory. >>> Beat sounds catchy fa this title and I like this “get fucked” hook from Blu! LOL, nothin’ but catchiness wit tha delivery! Butla’s shit on tha 1st verse sounds good; all about havin’ “daughters,” lol! I don’t think Blu had his son, here, so let’s see how he gon rap about his “daughter!” Feelin’ tha sex shit, here; all about tha “stamina!” Even got a “weapon ready,” “felon” style, lol! Thumbs up fa tha sex sounds in tha hook, too! My Rating: 4.5


½time: A+ CD, here; 4.6 for tha CD rating!!!!!! I only expect tha best from y’all!!!

LOL, tha no “I” again! *Alexia voice* “Luv it!!” >>> Sounds aight; I rather hear tha real voices, though; you know I feel tha dialect! Who’s sayin’, “big dawg,” in tha background? Feelin’ whoeva dat iz… “No weed?” But, boo @ “buyin’ cigarettes,” too. “Ratta-Tat”-soundin’ shit at tha end? My Rating: N/A


09. “Damn”
Whoo! Let’s see what dis gon sound like! >>> LOL, I thought tha “ratta-tat” shit was gonna lead inta dis but it didn’t; “damn,” this hook sounds catchy! ROFL @ tha BluBlack 1st verse! Such catchy shit, especially tha “I can’t help myself” shit! Nothin’ but consistentness, here, ova dis BluBlack-soundin’ beat! Butla’s soundin’ good on tha 2nd verse; really in a “damn” mood fa dis gurl! Really likin’ all tha descriptive lyrics as well as tha interest delivered in a song! My Rating: 4.6


10. “Full” Feat. Big Head
This looks like it gon be somethin’ special! >>> When tha tag goes, “DJ Bootsie & BluBlack…,” does dat me Blu & Bootsie produced it? Anyway, really likin’ tha intro wit wantin’ ta get “fulla dat!” Feelin’ tha 1st verse from Blu, really comin’ through wit some interestin’ shit, drug style and BluBlack-beat style!! Tha hook’s pretty catchy; lots of luv fa “loaded” shit, here! Butla’s on tha 2nd verse and this shit’s really entertainin’!! “And if I smell yo ass;” watch out fa tha Butla!!! Let’s see what Big Head got ta say on tha 3rd verse… Speakin’ of “loaded,” on May 6, 2011, I hit up Dat Boy A on tha phone and Big Head surprisingly got on tha phone wit me. When we were done talkin’, he ended it wit “you sound like you fulla dem quaaludes,” rofl!! Such a funny ending!! Soundin’ good on tha 3rd verse, Big Head; nothin’ but consistentness, here!! A long, 50+-second beat outro? I guess this iz where you try to finish tha blunt before tha song ends… Uh oh, it’s gettin’ closer… Tha beat’s reversin’, lol! My Rating: 4.7


11. “Beastmode” Feat. Sims On Da Track
Lookin’ forward ta anotha “Like Ooww” follow-up!! >>> Really likin’ this G-Lane-soundin’ intro on tha beat, here!! Definitely “worth seven figgaz;” I’m gettin’ there, ya dig? I keep pushin’ myself to tha max!! Tha hook sounds real nice wit this “beastmode” shit! Oh, tha “beastmode” shit’s continuin’ on tha 1st verse? Sounds like a previous G-Laneish song I might’ve heard…? Oh wait, neva mind, it’s a “Wipe Me Down” style, lol! Thumbs up fa tha catchiness on tha 1st verse, Blu!! Ooh, Sims hopped onto tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit some catchy-ass shit, too!! LOL, speakin’ of 23, I think he was 23 when I first talked ta him; seems like tha magical age? Lookin’ forward ta Butla’s character on tha 3rd verse! Yup! “Can’t play [him] like Nintendo;” too Butlavational!! Thumbs up fa dis catchiness; gotta luv it! My Rating: 4.7

>>> “Maxed Out” beat in tha background, here, startin’ ta sound blast-y in tha background, lol? Glad there’s anotha skit, or should I say, “skt,” lol! My Rating: N/A


13. “NASA Swagger”
Anotha “swag” song? >>> I think tha 1st one was catchier but this ain’t too bad… Tha beat’s slowly catchin’ on ta me but you already know, Butla’s doin’ tha damn thang on this 1st verse wit tha catchiness! LOL, this song’s only 2:34; lol @ tha shortness! Glad Butla “killin’” err-body to tha max!! Semi-good shit from Blu, here, although it’s soundin’ pretty commercial wit tha “MySpace” shit and tha unoriginal “swag” shit. LOL, you already know this shit’s ’09 if “MySpace” iz in tha song! Nice “peanut butter/nigga might jam it” line ta end it off! My Rating: 4.2


14. “X-Factor” Feat. Yung Yola
Oh no, I thought it was gonna be a new song… Tha length’s a lil’ longer so I’ll see why it changed… Originally, I only rated this a 4.0 but this iz much betta, especially against tha previous song. As I said in tha previous review from “Code Blu”, you know I like tha “X”-rated shit! Also, wit how Yola says, “fully erected;” lol, neva heard anyone say tha word “erected” before. Anyway, still tha same song, except there’s an extended beat for tha ending, this time. My Current Rating: 4.4


Overall: Definitely thought this was an A+ CD!! Been waitin’ for it and I’m glad it finally got released!! Nothin’ but pure, consistent shit, to tha fullest!!
