Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0
– 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I
don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like
it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites,
I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I
love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s
considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it. Any song can earn up to a maximum of a
5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I
listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of
tha song while I’m listening to it.

“Playas To Governors”
>>>
Nice vibe, here; you sound good on tha mic wit these consistent rhymes! Tha
hook sounds good; I’m likin’ tha gurl in tha background, too! My Rating: 4.3
02.
“Seal It W/A Kiss”
I
like how dis title looks. >>> You sound good on a beat like dis;
almost sounds like some good, East Coast, mainstream-type shit durin’ tha ‘90s.
I’m glad you have a ton of shit ta offer when it comes to tha rhymes! Nothin’
but consistency comin’ from your mouth at all
times!! This hook iz pretty interestin’; pretty quick and to tha point! Thumbs
up fa keepin’ all tha rhymes goin’ throughout this joint! My Rating: 4.2
03.
“Southern Dialect”
That’s
what I luv, especially tha “bruh” and tha Louisiana talk! >>> This beat
sounds betta than tha previous one; I’m likin’ how dis sounds wit tha hook and
all dat good shit. Some mo good shit comin’ out yo mouth on tha verses, here;
glad you keepin’ this everyday-livin’ rhymes on point! My Rating: 4.2
04.
“Candy’s 4 Babies” Feat. III
LOL
@ this title! Who’s III? Lookin’ forward ta hearin’! >>> Thought tha
beat would be pretty fast or somethin’ but it sounds like it’s more on a
regular/serious level. Very consistent rhymes afta :35!! You holdin’ it down on
this joint, once again! Gotta luv when people say tha word, “Louisiana;” it sounds good—so pure ta hear
such a great word/place!! Tha hook
sounds catchy; thought I’d laugh at tha “babies” part but it sounds more
serious, once again. III on tha 2nd verse? Almost sounds like Max
Minelli, a lil’; good shit, too… Thumbs up ta tha both of y’all on tha 3rd
verse, comin’ through wit mo shit. LOL, tha baby
sound effect in tha background on tha hook almost sounds like a faster version
of tha Aaliyah “Are You That Somebody?” baby, lol! Gotta luv dat one! ;) My Rating: 4.0
05.
“’Burban & Impalas”
>>>
Nice, smooth beat start… Rhymes are aight but tha content iz betta, here,
‘cause it’s on some hood shit. Tha hook sounds pretty catchy (“da, da, da…”
rhythm in tha background); I should like this a lil’ more, so I gon give it a
few more tries… It’s a lil’ long when tha 2nd verse iz progressin’
but it’s still a pretty-good song. Tha lady toward tha end of tha song sounds
good wit her singin’… My Rating: 3.9
06.
“All A Dream” Feat. III
Anotha
feature wit 3, or 3rd, lol! >>> Kinda smooth start, here; I
liked tha previous one betta. This sounds like it could be a shitty song if it
was 2010s but let’s see how it turns out ta be, ’97 style… Okay, definitely betta than how someone would
present it today! Consistent rhymes from you; I’m feelin’ what you bringin’
here… Anotha hook wit a gurl in it; sounds like an Aaliyah, which sounds good.
LOL, tha III’s on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit a shitload of
rhymes!! I feel odd ta place this above tha previous two songs, but
statistically, it iz, based off these positive responses I’m givin’! Tha 3rd
verse sounds good and tha hook’s startin’ ta really catch onta me! My Rating: 4.2
½time: Good shit, here; 4.1 for
tha CD rating!
07.
“It’s Alright” Feat. III
>>>
Intro sounds like what The Game & 50 Cent took from “How We Do” on their
intro. Ooh, tha vibe’s pretty nice, here, on a West Coast-soundin’ tip wit some
great rhymes from you! “Puffin’ on
dat indo;” gotta feel you! Damn, III ain’t a gurl? Can’t be; all these gurl
hooks are confusin’ me, since there’s no sourced vocalists. I’m gonna keep
believin’ III’s a dude dat sounds like a tight Max Minelli! My Rating: 4.1
08.
“Grey Skies” (III)
A
III solo? >>> Okay, it’s official; I was just confused on tha previous
song wit tha gurl. Anyway, this sounds like it has dat “da, da, da…” rhythm I
heard in one of tha previous songs; thumbs up fa dat! Tha hook sounds cool;
usually, you hear tha color blue, but it’s “grey,” here! Good job on this solo
joint; it’s all about havin’ buku main
artists!! My Rating: 3.8
09.
“Everybody Wants A Name”
>>>
I like tha quick, acapella start before tha beat kicks in! Here you are wit
some consistent rhymes! Oh, tha rappin’ on tha 1st verse starts at
:23? Good shit, still; nothin’ but consistent shit you spittin’. Tha hook
sounds good; there are too many
people tryna get it in this world! I’m tryna get it, but I don’t admit it so
many times! A quote from me: “I’m not
gettin’ money; I’m gettin’ things
done!” Yea, I may get money but tha most important thing iz dat I get things
done! Thumbs up fa doin’ ya thang wit tha rest of this shit! My Rating: 4.1
10.
“Southern Comfort (On & On)” Feat. Mystikal
Uh
oh, Mystikal on tha feature, lol!!! >>> Pretty smooth for a beat; this
should be interestin’! I can only imagine how tight he gon come on dis beat!! You’re spittin’ some okay/good
rhymes; not bad on this beat, overall… Ooh, here’s Mystikal, a lil’ less hyper,
lol! He sounds A+, still; likin’ tha “Louisiana”
/ “gumbo” / “huh bruh” shit, ya dig? He always
shows tha city luv and has tha rhymes on lock!! LOL, tha “lotto” part was nice,
too!! I also like dat there’s dat mysterious female in tha background, too! She
has some good singin’ as well as showin’ luv to Louisiana-related shit! My Rating: 4.5
11.
“Still Serious”
That’s
what you are! Title track, here, so let’s see what we got! >>> Intro
sounds pretty catchy, unless this tha hook? Good shit fa tha hood, here, wit
tha rhymes you got; nothin’ but quality from you! Okay, dat intro iz tha hook and it’s catchy, once again.
My Rating: 3.8
12.
“Black Lacquer”
Didn’t
know what tha L-word was ‘til I right-clicked it in Word. Okay, let’s see what
dis gon be like for an ending song… >>> Not tha kinda beat start I’d
anticipate (like dat other track dat would sound shitty for a 2010s song) and I
wouldn’t really mix tha gurl in tha beginning. But, I do think this iz
somewhat-good; I like your smooth rappin’ on tha mic, here. Tha hook ain’t too
bad but it’s not close to all tha other hooks on here; at least it has a good,
smooth, ‘90s vibe… I’m likin’ how you comin’ through on tha 2nd
verse, especially wit startin’ wit tha title. My Rating: 3.6
Overall: Nice job wit this CD;
quality music fa Louisiana,
right here!!
