Reviewed on 6.08.2011 (Review #980)
Comin’ up next, I got my 3rd review for today: DJ Mouche “No Bounce, No Party”; looks like a compilation CD and I’m lookin’ forward!! Start Time: 6:57 PM | End Time: 7:16 PM
Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it. Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. DJ Mouche “No Bounce, No Party (Intro)”
!! >>> LOL @ tha “whaaaaat?!?” when it came to tha “you can’t play any Bounce music” shit; this ‘bout ta be interestin’! Good chantin’ goin’ on, here; I guess this iz just an “intro”, vs. an actual song? Yea, but it’s real nice for a start!! My Rating: N/A
02. Big Daddy Feat. Mckeldocheous “Bounce Fa Dem”
Looks like it gon be good! >>> Ooh, definitely! LOL, you got some grimy-ass vocals dat are meant for tha streets, comin’ through “fa” a “Bounce” record, lol; deadly combination!!! Great energy, here; can’t deny it!!! Tha 1st verse iz cool but you get tha actual Bounce vocals on tha 2nd verse; thumbs up! LOL, hilarious as fuck!! My Rating: 4.8
03. Da Rangaz Feat. Thaddeus The Legend “Everyday In My Life”
>>> Doesn’t sound that Bounce wit tha content but tha hook’s good wit this mix, too! Okay, now dat I’m hearin’ tha 1st verse, I’m hearin’ tha Bounce-soundin’ vocals ta through inta tha mix; good shit! Tha 2nd verse sounds like it’s on dat gutta voice, again; lol, this iz dat shit! Ooh, some more Bounce-soundin’ vocals on tha 3rd verse, too; gotta luv tha drug-related content, at times, too, lol! My Rating: 4.3
04. Da Rangaz Feat. Lady Red “Fuck Dem Niggas, Fuck Dem Hoes”
LOL, this’ll prolly be an insane anthem!! >>> LOL, here’s tha great combo of Da Rangaz and Lady Red, comin’ through on a Bounce beat!! Too bad I didn’t have Lady Red’s self-titled CD when I was in tha ’96 part of my marathon; gonna have ta wait ‘til I get back ta ’96. But, I hope it ain’t too long of a wait… Vocals are on tha great, Bounce-soundin’ tip, once again! ROFL @ tha “just like a fag out tha closet, I can’t hide it!” Lady Red’s comin’ through wit her bad-ass attitude, smokin’ her way through tha track, lol! LOL, tha 3rd verse between tha gutta-soundin’ Ranga and Lady Red’s a good combo; talk it out, rap it out, walk it out, do ya thang, lol! My Rating: 4.6
05. Mckeldocheous “The Real Bitch Get Off Me”
Uh oh, an official version? Let’s see what tha Mcks gon do! >>> Sounds like they’re ready ta do some bidness!! Sounds good, regardless of who’s “Bitch Get Off Me” it iz… Feelin’ tha gutta vocals and tha energy iz off tha chain, here; keep chantin’ like it’s tha last day of your life!! My Rating: 4.7
06. Mckeldocheous “I Got Mo Hoes”
LOL, anotha song by them, keepin’ tha length long as six minutes? >>> I like how dis sounds; sounds like a smoothly-delivered, catchy-soundin’ hook! Tha “hoes” must’ve luved dis one; this iz a great-soundin’ “hoes” song, unlike what you would hear today!! Gotta luv tha descriptive shit, at times; all y’all doin’ tha damn thang to tha fullest!! My Rating: 4.5
½time: Wow, this CD’s turnin’ out ta be pretty hot!! Can’t resist a 4.6-rated CD; that’s nuts!!!!!!
07. DJ Mouche “Money Fresh, Ackin’ Bad”
Back to tha DJ wit 8:23 on tha length? Damn, this must be anotha “Jubilee All”? >>> Not like “Jubilee All”; sounds more like a decent song… Even though it’s hella long, it’s hella long for a purpose. Sounds like a shitload of people on this song; feelin’ tha random appearances from tha ladies! My Rating: 4.2
08. DJ Mouche “Bounce View”
A short length? Must be a skit… >>> Ooh, good, a skit! Glad you’re on your grind and not givin’ a fuck, Mouche! People “hatin’ on Bounce” sucked back in tha day. But, people should hate tha mainstream shit now!! My Rating: N/A
09. Pamela Boyd Feat. Terrance Powell “Very Special”
What’ll this be like wit a lady up front? >>> Decent start… I dunno about dis, soundin’ like Jennifer Lopez/LL Cool J “All I Have”… I mean, it’s a Bounce beat but I’d rather hear rappin’… My Rating: 3.2
10. Mckeldocheous Feat. Ms. Sabrina “Silly”
Back to tha Mcks; I’m sure I’ll like dis gurl betta… >>> Sounds more like remakin’ music but it’s a lil’ more catchy, here. Damn, dat Sabrina gurl takin’ ova tha beginning; when will tha Mcks come in? Finally, within only a minute left of tha song… Sounds pretty good but if I had ta wait three minutes for tha main artist, I don’t think that’s good of a wait… My Rating: 3.9
11. Big Shed Feat. Byrd Man & Mckeldocheous “Smack-A-Bitch”
Okay, now, tha Mcks are toward tha end of tha feature; how will this sound? >>> Sounds like it’s slower but it has ta be better, now dat there’s rappin’! I prolly would’ve asked for more energy but this ain’t too bad, overall…; I like tha Eazy-E sample in tha hook, lol! Yea, this iz a lil’ too laidback ‘til tha 4:00 mark (damn, anotha long wait, lol); feelin’ these rhymes a lil’ betta, here! My Rating: 4.1
12. Mckeldocheous Feat. T.O.A. “Nola”
LOL, endin’ it wit tha Mcks! >>> A lil’ sappy for a start; hope I can handle this 5.5-minute song… Not really inta tha singin’ this time; could’ve kept this whole CD on a Bounce/energetic level! Rhymes aren’t too bad, overall, but this iz a lil’ boring… My Rating: 3.7
Overall: Thought it was gonna be a perfect-rated CD but tha 1st ½ really did a nice job, vs. tha 2nd ½, which had a loss in energy…
Rankings:
10. Pamela Boyd Feat. Terrance Powell “Very Special” 3.2
09. Mckeldocheous Feat. T.O.A. “Nola” 3.7
