Tha deaths only get more and more sad... Who eva expected this comin'?!
Recorded June 14, 2011
It's FrankieThaLuckyDog, broadcasting from Northeast PA, sadly reporting you with some heartbreaking and intense news. Keith S. Buchanan, also known as Sawed-Off from Alabama's brother duo, 334 MO.B.B., but known as Stone, passed away last Wednesday, June 8, 2011, from complications with diabetes. Unfortunately, Buchanan only lived to see the young age of 25. Throughout the Mid 2000's, 334 MO.B.B. were in talks with signing with Jay-Z's label, Def Jam Recordings. Eventually getting signed, their name appeared on big-name outlets such as Music Choice multiple times. However, shortly after being signed, they were sadly dropped, mainly staying with Black Drop Entertainment.
334 MO.B.B. have played an exciting role in my life WAY before my Louisiana connection! It all started with an e-mail that was sent to me October 3, 2004, which I didn't officially check until the next day. Once I joined their message board and started chatting with them on October 4, a deeper love for underground, Southern Rap music begun! Unfortunately, I don't believe I ever talked to Sawed-Off online--which made me jealous, at times--but getting to mainly talk to Big Ken and tha CEO iz an indescribable blessing.
Let's 1st take a look back at some of the memories I've had with 334 MO.B.B., some of their music, and more:
