Time fa anotha review. Originally, I got dis sent ta me last year. However, I didn’t check it out, I guess, ‘cause it was on a mainstream level, and I had too much to review. Tha fuck? Now, I have like 12x more ta review and I’m reviewin’ it! JP resurrected it by sendin’ it to me in tha mail; here goes my review for Lil’ Boosie “Thug Passion (The Mixtape)”! Question: why iz this a “mixtape” when it’s 71 minutes long? I’m also kinda lost so if I heard a song before and not realize it, I’m just gonna pretend I ain’t eva hear it/know its original rating. ROFL @ tha coughin’ in tha 2nd verse; how random! Re-Up sounds good on tha 2nd verse. LOL, does every single person come up from tha same life? Ever hear of Autism? Nice shit from Quick, too… My Rating: 4.5

Nice collab here and a beat from DJ B-Real; dis should be pretty nice!! >>> Sounds like a long intro ‘cause I wanted tha beat ta come up ASAP. This beat iz nice and smooth; really feelin’ how it sounds. Tha hook’s pretty catchy… Sounds like Re-Up took tha 2nd ½ of tha 1st verse, doin’ a nice job wit you. “Flippin’ dem hoes just like flip-flops;” lol, Phat! LOL, Re-Up takin’ mo of tha 2nd ½, this time on tha 2nd verse! My Rating: 4.4

Anotha tight collab wit producer UM on tha beat! >>> Pretty good start wit a catchy hook… Tha 1st verse iz pretty catchy… Locco almost sounds like Magnolia Chop. Hatch Boy doin’ a nice job on tha 2nd verse. LOL, are you not in tha song, Boosie? LOL, you’re not on dis. At least err-body did they thang! My Rating: 4.3

Let’s see how GR8 Guss holds down dis beat! >>> Yea, soundin’ tight here! Why does tha hook sound like 50 Cent and his “Hustler’s Ambition”? Pretty good song although it should be, like, a minute less since you’re tha only one on here. My Rating: 4.3
06. “Thug Passion” Feat. Black & Lil’ Phat
Title track wit Tyree Neil and Big Josh doin’ tha beat here. Let’s see what’s up. >>> Was gonna think this was tha weakest beat so far but it’s not too bad since it has a Southern feel to it. Tha hook’s pretty catchy. Why iz Lil’ Phat in tha beginning of tha ID again? Black’s on tha 2nd verse, doin’ a nice job. ROFL @ tha ending to Phat’s verse wit “I luv drugs”; very descriptive fa an anti-social topic, lol! My Rating: 4.2

Interestin’… I don’t get why people have interest in “[fuckin’] hoes” and then “[leavin’] ‘em alone”. Iz this why relationships are so fucked up these dayz? Likin’ this 3rd verse…; good attitude here, doin’ tha damn thang. My Rating: 4.0

Let’s hear anotha Guss beat! >>> Interestin’ intro… I like tha “bruh” / “bruh” answer/answer-back. Tha beat’s a lil’ smooth but let’s see how it goes… Tha beat sounds pretty good throughout tha verse and you’re keepin’ it goin’ here. My Rating: 3.9
17. “Shit Yeah” Feat. Quick
Gotta luv this sayin’ so I prolly gon luv tha song, produced by Big Wayne!! >>> This song’s louder, lol? Catchy-ass song wit a pretty slow, gutta beat! Definitely an interestin’ 1st verse and Quick’s doin’ tha damn thang on tha 2nd hook! Sucks how Quick lost a daughter at a really young age; what tha hell happened?
Now, on tha 3rd hook, tha both of y’all took over, four bars each; interestin’. My Rating: 4.3Overall: Good shit, Boosie! You know how ta come through on a consistent level! This whole thing wasn’t mixed or anything. Plus, there was no hosting and all tha songs ended cold. So, why was this called a “mixtape”?
