Finna do my 8th review for today: Lil’ J “16 Zips”! If it wasn’t for my boy JP, I would’ve neva got this CD! I was ‘pose ta get it from Lil’ J back in August 2009ish. But, I dunno what happened. I believe a new CD iz out now, too. I dunno why tha DJ doesn’t get new shit on time? Also, I don’t have a tracklisting but I’m on kuejup’s YouTube page and this CD’s uploaded. So, I’ll try ta put tha titles together as best as I could. Start Time: 9:27 PM | End Time: 9:57 PM


Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it. Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. “Dope Boys”
>>> Workin’ wit Grind of Grindstarz Entertainment? Sounds pretty hot here. This one’s “Dope Boys”; sounds pretty nice!! I really like how it has a fast vibe and you doin’ ya thang here to tha fullest!! I really like how you have a really catchy voice as well as how you feelin’ goo-oo-ood, lol! My Rating: 4.5


02. “Gettin’ Doe” Feat. Nu$$ie
>>> Oh yea, tha “Gettin’ Doe” song wit Nu$$ie; I know dis shit! This was tha 1st time I heard you and you know you tha shit, ya dig? Good collab! My Current Rating: 4.4


03. “16 Zips”
>>> Likin’ tha beat start; you official wit keepin’ thangz consistent fa havin’ a really young voice, ya dig? I think this iz “16 Zips” ‘cause I keep hearin’ “16’s” in tha hook; good shit! Now, I hear tha “zips” part; good shit! Glad you doin’ ya thang in tha drug-dealin’ world, ya dig? My Rating: 4.3


04. “Video”
>>> I believe this iz “Miss Me (When I’m Gone)” ‘cause of tha short length? No, it’s not. Tha “video” shit sounds catchy in tha hook; how catchy! Your voice makes this shit really catchy! I think most people will think this iz hella annoyin’ but I’m not everyone else! Since this ain’t on tha YouTube page, I’ll just call dis “Video”. My Rating: 4.2


05. “I’m A Boss”
>>> Sounds like dis iz “I’m A Boss”; sounds pretty good… Not too bad fa a joint, overall… My Rating: 3.7


06. “Shelly”
>>> A sappy beat that was mainstream. Oh yea, tha Biggie tribute; I dunno how much I gon feel dis. I thought this was gonna be a Nu$$ie tribute or somethin’. I’ll just call this “Shelly”; hope I spelled it right. Not too bad but kinda not on my level. Tha hook’s pretty catchy… My Rating: 3.1


07. “Check Out My Swagga”
>>> Doesn’t sound like tha kinda beat I like; I think this iz tha “Walk That Walk” beat? Oh no, a “swag” song; I don’t go fa songs like dis but you’re a lil’ more catchy than typical “swag”-obsessed people. Yea, tha lyrics are a lil’ on tha gay side but tha flow’s catchy… LOL, random, unsourced feature? My Rating: 3.3


08. “I’m Loaded”
>>> What’s wit these sappy beats you chose? LOL, what a comeback on tha hook!! ROFL, “I’m Loaded”; dumb shit!! “I wanna quit [loratabs, xanabars] but it’s somethin’ I gotta have;” what got you inta it, lol? Do you remember date and time? You gotta, ya dig? Who’s on tha hook? This shit’s official! Damn, anotha non-sourced dude on tha 2nd verse (who was on tha hook, too). They’re doin’ a nice job… My bad that I can’t think of who’s who on tha feature; I know too many people now, lol. My Rating: 4.3


09. “Fuck What A Hater Think” Feat. Big Fancy
>>> ROFL @ Rich Boy and his cocky attitude on tha hook (as a sample); dis “Fuck What A Hater Think”. What’s wit tha random “Nu$$ie” ad-libs I thought I heard? A lil’ weird for a song, especially if he’s not even on tha song. I like tha attitude and what you’re bringin’ to tha table here, ya dig? Oh, it’s Big Fancy’s ad-libs; I could’ve sworn it was him. I think one of Fancy’s dude’s on tha 2nd verse; not sure who but good job… I think tha Big Fancy ad-libs are too random. Tha 3rd verse iz someone else… LOL, Big Fancy iz tha last dude, who sounds good in real action! My bad that I’m leavin’ tha others out; don’t know their exact names. My Rating: 4.1

10. “Two & A Quarter”
>>> Uh oh, this ain’t in tha YouTube page; I recognized tha short, 1:39 length. I’ll call dis “Two & A Quarter”, tha title track. It sounds like you’re spittin’ some pretty-good shit on this beat. My Rating: 3.8


11. “Mainline”
>>> Based off tha length, this has ta be “Mainline”—yea, it iz! I like how dis sounds; pretty catchy. Tha “I just want tha pussy” shit sounds like an alternated cliché of Biggie… “Like Jim Jones, I’m ballin’;” surprised people still quote dat song, lol. It seems like it was more than just 4.5 years ago. You have interestin’ shit you spittin’; lol @ “I sell dat shit” when it comes to tha kush! My Rating: 4.2


12. “Dumbshit” Feat. Nu$$ie & Puppy
>>> This iz “Dumbshit”; glad you bringin’ dat hot “shit” to tha table, ya dig? This iz some good, gangsta shit, lol! LOL, randomly, Nu$$ie’s on this? Funny that there’s no listed features on tha YouTube uploads; how’ll people that are featured find ‘em? Anyway, good, consistent shit from Nu$$ on tha 2nd verse; really like tha “catepillar” shit “spelled backwards,” lol! LOL, Puppy… I’ll Hit Ya on tha 3rd verse, doin’ a nice job on dis shit, too! Glad y’all team up in a real great way!! My Rating: 4.4


13. “My Baby”
>>> Since this iz tha “My Love” beat, it’s prolly “My Baby”. I don’t think I gon like dis too much so let’s see what you got goin’ on… Yea, this a lil’ Poppy/childish for me; not bad on tha verses, though. My Rating: 2.8


14. “She Wanna”
>>> Iz this “She Wanna”? Tha beat’s pretty nice here; feelin’ how you rap on it, ya dig? Yea, I got tha title right; pretty catchy shit here! My Rating: 4.1


15. “Mazzorotti”
>>> I have heard dis beat before; my bad for tha—oh, “Mazzorotti” it iz! Good shit; I dunno why I only rated it a 3.1 in tha 1st place? It ain’t a bad dancin’ song; you’re catchy wit how you come through on tha hook as well as tha shit you bring to tha table here! You know dis iz very entertainin’! My Current Rating: 3.9


16. “Gotta Hear Me”
>>> LOL, I guess “Gotta Hear Me” should be tha title? Almost didn’t know what you were talkin’ ‘bout in tha beginning but dis shit’s definitely on ‘n’ poppin’! LOL, who’s on tha 1st verse? Pretty nice as fuck on tha consistent rappin’!!! Ooh, this mysterious dude iz on tha 2nd verse, too, doin’ a nice job, again! LOL, iz this someone’s song featurin’ you? Interestin’ dat they’re on tha final verse, too! My Rating: 4.5


17. “100 Bitches” Feat. Lil’ Jamie, Delwin The Krazyman & Money Boy
>>> Oh no, tha Big Fancy vocals again in tha beginning, lol. I know what this iz; definitely reviewed this in tha past. Lemme hear what—okay, it’s “100 Bitches”; dumb shit! What I had ta say: Good-soundin’ Louisiana beat here. Sounds like you’re on tha hook and this iz catchy! You’re on tha 1st verse and you’re soundin’ good fa dis kinda joint… LOL, Delwin’s on tha 2nd ½ of tha 1st verse, doin’ a nice job, too… Jamie’s on tha 1st ½ of tha 2nd verse and it’s soundin’ tight; I like how he comes through fa dis shit! Someone’s on tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse and it’s soundin’ catchy wit his rhymes and how he comes through! LOL, Money Boy’s on tha 3rd verse? Then, who was on tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse? This sounds betta than tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse; go, Money Boy, lol! LOL, must be Lil’ Jamie again on tha 2nd ½ of tha 3rd verse; good job from him again… My Current Rating: 4.3

>>> Now, it’s dat “Miss Me (When I’m Gone)”; how pathetic dat you chose dis Soulja Boy Tell ‘Em beat. Although you’re a lil’ catchy, dis ain’t fa me ta really like! My Rating: 2.1


Overall: Not bad/pretty good. I dunno about some of tha jacked-beat songs but you know how ta come wit it fa a dude wit a really young-soundin’ voice!
