Keepin’ thangz goin’ ‘til tha end of tha year, I ‘bout ta review Rodnae. Now, I know I got luv fa Rodnae and what he does as far as producin’ and rappin’. But, for an R&B CD, can he pull it off? Tha R&B I would like ta hear iz a lil’ bit of, like, TLC…, some 90’s shit like Dru Hill…, anything from tha really early 2000’s, you know, good shit I’ve known back in tha day! Here goes my review for Rodnae “Fuck Action Vol. 1: Rated R”. Start Time: 10:57 AM | End Time: 11:35 AM


Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it. Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

I gon keep it as real as possible wit every song I hear so be prepared—same wit me! >>> Fail. Even worse: 2007? Where’s tha 90’s? Early 00’s? My Rating: 1.0


02. Cupid Drop
>>> I dunno about dis CD; I think you (accordin’ to Cupid) are missin’ “vocals” ‘cause you’re usin’ dat gay A-Tune, which wasn’t POPULAR durin’ tha shit I liked! My Rating: N/A


03. “Take My Time” Feat. Cupid & Ray Lavendar
Why wasn’t tha features actually listed on tha back cover? >>> Although not for me at all, at least it has somewhat of a quality for today’s R&B. You sound kinda gay wit tha singin’, unfortunately. You should’ve just made a compilation fulla R&B singers wit R&B beats you produced, whether they’d be for me or not. My Rating: 2.6


04. “Tapout”
>>> 4:34 on tha length? Why tha longness? How slow—tha kinda shit dat would piss me off. Tha A-Tune made me skip; automatically disqualified. My Rating: 1.0


05. “Hey DJ” Feat. Yung Duke
Now, tha feature’s listed. >>> Better beat but more, pure garbage; think I gon skip dis, too. Yup, after 45 seconds this time. My Rating: 1.0


06. “Lay U Down (Freestyle)”
>>> Too bad it’s not an original beat but no gayness this time. Also, good thing it’s not too long—a lil’ over two minutes. I can’t picture someone actually gettin’ turned on from this, meaning, really? Sounds more like pretend-humor. My Rating: 2.2


07. “Hotel, Motel (What It Do)”
>>> I like tha “Some Cut” intro and tha chopped-and-screwed background. Not really likin’ how you sound on tha hook, though. Sounds a lil’ like Pretty Ricky and them… This should’ve been as short as tha last song—oh, freestyle. What happened to tha catchy music in R&B music? My Rating: 2.3


08. “Makin’ Up Sex”
>>> No wonder why this beat’s on here; forgot it was ’09. Even though this was, like, a comeback for a big R&B song, it’s in tha past now. Not bad version here although still weird. My Rating: 2.5


09. “Alright (Freestyle)”
>>> This sounds a lil’ betta wit tha beat. Not too bad but sounds boring since it’s a “freestyle”. Freestylin’ iz ‘pose to be rappin’, not R&B-singin’. My Rating: 2.1


10. “Call Me”
>>> Hope I skip dis since it’s 4:34… Really slow… Somewhat better but it ain’t too catchy. Just gonna end this as I feel like I’m only goin’ to sample tha songs now. My Rating: 2.4


11. “Never Felt Like This (Freestyle)”
C’mon wit these fakestyles… >>> Somewhat gay on tha vocals here… Good thing this was short. My Rating: 1.6


½time: Not tha R&B I want; this like tha R&B that tries to be cool or somethin’. Forgot to mention dat I reviewed Sade’s “Soldier Of Love” CD earlier this year; it got five stars! FIVE STARS!! Should’ve sounded like dat although Sade has a MUCH BETTER voice and production! Wit this CD, you’re standin’ at a 1.9 CD rating so far.


12. “I Wanna Fuck Ur Girl”
>>> Skipped. My Rating: 1.0


13. “Shawty Need My Luv”
>>> Skipped. Damn, I’m fallin’ behind on typin’ ‘cause of all tha skippin’! My Rating: 1.0


14. “Turn Da Radio Up”
>>> Gayness; not bein’ bothered! My Rating: 1.0


15. “And Then She Said…”
>>> Good thing it’s short but this iz laziness wit its quality once again. My Rating: 1.2


16. “Lick’em Low”
>>> Boring; can’t even say anything… My Rating: 1.4


17. “Soufmade Girl”
>>> Not being bothered. My Rating: 1.0


18. “She Said” Feat. Foxx
>>> WTF? 5:20 on tha length? Sounded repetitive wit tha hook start. Nothin’ special at all wit dis song; yawn… Am I even gonna make it to Foxx’s part? *Skips to Foxx’s part* Tha rappin’ doesn’t even fit wit dis CD. If dat was tha case, wouldn’t you be rappin’, Rodnae? My Rating: 1.7


19. “Hey, Hey, Hey”
>>> Sounds like a good beat start. Oh, tha gay vocals ruined it again!! My Rating: 1.0


20. “In My Studio”
DatPiff removed; ROFL. >>> Sounds a lil’ fucked up wit tha beat sound; weird… My Rating: 1.5


21. “Got Me Sayin’ Ohhh”
Anotha one removed, ROFL. >>> Don’t know what ta say; kinda boring once again. My Rating: 1.8


22. “Lady In My Life”
>>> What iz up wit these beat tags? Why do we need them in R&B songs? This sounds like “Swang”’s rhythm so you sampled somethin’. Too slow. This iz an MJ tribute but iz called “Lady In My Life”? Huh? My Rating: 1.3


23. “Rock N Roll”
You sent me dis; dis iz a bonus? >>> Why iz this here? No need for a lift! I prolly won’t play dis on my radio show ‘cause you sent me better songs so I’ll prolly care about dem before dis! Plus, dis iz from ’09; it’s REALLY hard for me to play any song dat’s not current ‘cause I have so many of ‘em. This iz an okay song; definitely betta than everything on here. My Rating: 3.7


Overall: Not exactly a waste of time, since it only took almost 40 minutes instead of 80. I guess attempting to make R&B izn’t your thing?
