Reviewed on 12.18.2010 (Review #692)
My 2nd review of tha day iz for Foy Boy, a part of Rodnae’s Soufmade Entertainment. Here’s my review for Foy Boy “Back Like I Left Something (Hosted by Slym B)”! This iz anotha review from ’09; hope to get to tha ’10 CDs soon… Start Time: 12:05 PM | End Time: 1:08 PM
Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it. Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. “Intro: Back Like I Left Something”
Time ta start dis off. Hopefully, it’ll be a good CD for me! >>> Sounds good for an intro track. Tha lyrics are pretty typical; nothin’ special ‘bout ‘em. My Rating: 3.7
02. “Check Me Out”
>>> Catchy. You doin’ ya thang here as you made this into a catchy song. My Rating: 3.9
03. “Stupid” Feat. Yung Reed
Lookin’ forward to a collaboration! >>> Cool wit tha beat and tha hook even though it’s nothin’ too exciting. Pretty consistent here wit all tha shit you got goin’ on. Tha content iz startin’ ta get pretty boring for me; Yung Reed could’ve spit somethin’ more catchy… My Rating: 3.8
04. “Uh Uh” Feat. Lil’ Money
SMH @ tha featured artist’s name; where’d dat come about? >>> ROFL, not even an original beat—oh yea, should’ve looked at tha title a lil’ closer, lol. Not too interested in shit like dis although you make it jammin’. Because of tha featured artist’s name, I have a feelin’ he gon have an erected love for money, smh. Pretty plain; how far did he get in school, lol? My Rating: 3.2
05. “Stroke It”
>>> Sounds like somethin’ I wouldn’t like. Yea, this iz pretty gay; not into these kinda songs. My Rating: 2.5
06. “On One”
>>> Didn’t recognize where you were goin’ wit this title but it’s pretty tight. LOL, you make dis topic sound funny. Wow, boring-ass lyrics in tha 1st verse, smh. Even tha 2nd verse, too; smh @ tha lyrics on tha pretty good content throughout tha hook. My Rating: 2.8
07. “My Birthday” Feat. Yung $tanlo
LOL, Yung $tanlo randomly appears! >>> Sounds like consistent mixtape music. Good job from $tanlo, doin’ his thang on tha collaboration! My Rating: 4.0
08. “Dem Haters” Feat. Fiend
Uh oh; GOTTA LUV IT!!! Played it on my radio show and dis gon be a QUICK add to my personal playlist! Glad tha full thang iz on here, too!! Lemme see what gon go down when I review it! >>> Gotta luv dat “dey don’t like dat” shit in tha hook; just touches you to where you get in such a MOOD ta luv undaground, Louisiana Rap music!!! Fuckin’ REAL GREAT hook!!! Good shit from tha Soufmade Click, doin’ tha damn thang on dis kick-ass Rodnae beat, too! LOL, it was still tha MySpace dayz, too? Damn, didn’t realize dis was an ’09 song for a second but I aired it accidentally as ’10. My Current Rating: 4.7
09. Killa Kyleon Checks In
Interestin’ check-in! >>> Good shit! My Rating: N/A
10. “Swag It Out” Feat. Yung Duke & Yung $tanlo
Gotta luv how it just says, “Stanlo,” on tha feature; dumb shit!! Although this ain’t my kinda title, let’s see how it goes… >>> Sounds good on tha production; hope it doesn’t get worse. Yup, tha hook’s gay. This iz nothin’ ta talk about anyway… My Rating: 2.3
11. “Breath Smelly”
I was like, “WTF?” However, I think dis iz a smokin’ anthem? >>> Neva mind, looks like dis gon sound “smelly,” smh. Had to have a shitty beat ta go wit it, too! Fuckin’ gay!!! Could’ve been creative if it was on a different level and different beat! Yea, I would’ve been interestin’ but you fucked up wit tha beat choice! What’s up wit tha outro? My Rating: 1.4
½time: Damn, only a 3.2-rated CD? What’s goin’ on?
12. “My Car” Feat. Rodnae
>>> Oh God, just like tha outro said, tha “Bust Your Windows” beat; at least it’s betta and on an ’08 level. Too bad this iz gonna be a skip for me; WTF?!? My Rating: 1.0
13. “1 For The Money” Feat. Louisiana Ca$h & Yung Duke
>>> Nothin’ special so far. Tha lyrics are once again: gay! I dunno how I sat here for 4.5 minutes. My Rating: 2.2
14. “Pussy Callin’” Feat. Rodnae
I think I gon skip dis… >>> I hope I do if it’s 5:20! Yes!! After 14 seconds!! My Rating: 1.0
15. “That Baby”
>>> ROFL, this song/beat! Kinda funny here… My Rating: 3.5
16. “A Rodnae”
? >>> Oh, fuckin’ gay-ass “A Bay Bay”. Gay as fuck, too! I don’t get why I have ta hear shit like dis; it’s tha same flow and nearly tha same lyrics! My Rating: 1.1
17. “Skate”
Huh? >>> Anotha gay/homosexual song? Sorry but I ain’t puttin’ up wit dis; GTFOH! My Rating: 1.0
18. “Break You Off Proper (Remix)” Feat. Foxx
>>> I dunno what ta say; my excitement iz gone from this CD. Kinda betta than a bunch of tha shit on here but nothin’ too exciting fa me. Actually, deductin’ a lil’ due to tha gay content in tha last 30 seconds. My Rating: 2.6
19. “Stompin’ Ground” Feat. Yung $tanlo, Yung Reed, Yung Duke, Yung Salo & ST
Interestin’ line-up… >>> Finally, non-gay music! Good job, err-body! My Rating: 3.8
20. “Fly Away”
>>> What’s wit tha Mariah Carey beat on a “mixtape”? Pure gayness! Why do people come SO SOFT on a “mixtape”?!? My Rating: 1.0
21. “Call 2 Heaven” Feat. Rodnae
>>> Only two seconds in and I skipped it! My Rating: 1.0
22. Outro
I thought I just sat on an “outro”; does a “mixtape” REALLY have ta be 79 minutes long? ALL THA TIME?!? >>> Okay… Why almost five minutes? My Rating: N/A
Overall: WTF? I thought I was listenin’ to quality here but got really sour toward tha end. You need more songs like “Dem Haters”! Get out of dat “swag” trap and all tha jacked-beat shit.
