Wit tha next set of reviewz, my boy JP hooked me up wit a bunch of CDs, mainly from tha ’08 – ’09 dayz. They look really anticipatin’ so I definitely gon look forward ta hearin’ ‘em!! Takin’ it to my 3rd review of tha day, it’s IL Duce “Unsigned Hype Vol. 1”! Not sure of tha year; it has ta be ‘08ish, I assume. Start Time: 12:31 PM | End Time: 1:05 PM


Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it. Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

“Shit” yea, ya dig? >>> Sounds good; tha hook’s definitely on point, ya dig? Introducin’ yourself to tha plate here. Ooh, I like how you’re comin’ through on tha verses; definite plus on your energy! My Rating: 4.3

Since you said, “Beat Flippa,” on tha interlude, this should definitely be hot!! >>> Yea!!! ’08 style here (accordin’ to tha vibe)!!! Definitely dat pure, pure, pure shit!!! Tha hook’s catchy as fuck; good-ass shit here, Duce!!! Good shit you got here in tha 1st verse; crazy-ass vibe you bringin’ to tha table!! Streetz, who I played on tha radio wit you on dat “Is It” song from 2007, iz on tha 2nd verse, soundin’ pretty nice here!! This tha crazy shit I would instantly luv and I’m glad I’m hearin’ a bunch of it, now!!! Tha 3rd verse sounds too hot wit how tha beat sounds and you murderin’ it!! Ooh, had ta include Streetz on tha 2nd ½, too; dumb shit!!! My Rating: 4.8


05. “Sun Gone” Feat. Level
Let’s hear what dis sound like! >>> Ooh, a Mod Productions beat here, doin’ a nice job. This sounds pretty good; catchy hook wit you here! LOL, you makin’ me jealous: wanna escape dis 0 – 20-degree weather!! You did a nice job on tha whole 1st verse, keepin’ it cool here, my boy! Let’s hear what Level has ta offer on tha 2nd verse… Definitely goin’ off here! Good shit, ya dig? My Rating: 4.5


06. “Sloppy” Feat. M-16
I wonder who M-16 iz; lookin’ forward ta hearin’ once again! >>> Sounds good; I’m really enjoyin’ tha vibe here! Tha both of y’all makin’ a real-ass catchy hook!! Tha beat ain’t too bad throughout tha verses but your rhymes are keepin’ thangz interestin’! Gotta feel tha “blowin’ on dis killa” shit, ya dig? M-16’s on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit some catchy shit; glad you brought this dude on your CD. I’m all inta hearin’ new people to tha fullest, ya dig? My Rating: 4.4

Let’s hear what dis ‘bout. >>> This ain’t too bad… Tha beat’s pretty catchy; at least it ain’t on some Drake shit! Crystal even sounds pretty good, too. Not too bad wit how you’re bringin’ tha “confidential” facts, Duce, lol. My Rating: 3.7


08. “All Fucked Up”
Gotta like a title like dis! >>> Mod Productions doin’ dis beat, soundin’ pretty nice and smooth. Ooh, you really holdin’ tha hook down!! Tha flow’s real nice and smooth as well as tha “fucked up” shit, lol! Nice job wit holdin’ dis shit down ta tha fullest! You a cool dude wit how you come on tha track wit dat tight shit! Tha 2nd verse soundin’ betta; gotta “roll up!” My Rating: 4.5

You know what it iz when you fuck wit IL Duce!! Streetz’s on tha 2nd verse, doin’ a nice job wit what he spittin’, once again! Let’s hear Mr. Bone… Doin’ his thang on tha 3rd verse; his voice holds tracks down to tha fullest! Y’all a great team, doin’ a real nice job together! My Rating: 4.5


13. “On Dat Level” Feat. Streetz & Lil’ Head
LOL, different version? Oh yea, dis tha past. >>> I like how this version sounds; gotta luv tha before-Nu$$ie-died times! Tha hook’s pretty cool wit how Streetz sounds; I think I like tha remix’s “you don’t want it on dat level” part betta ‘cause of tha increased energy. Speakin’ of Streetz, here he iz on tha 1st verse, doin’ a pretty-good job. You know this shit’s definitely jammin’! Ooh, hearin’ tha hook again and it’s definitely nice ta hear, once again! You’re doin’ a nice job on tha 2nd verse, keepin’ it consistent, as always! Ooh, Lil’ Head Da YG doin’ a nice job on tha 3rd verse! Knowin’ him, he don’t stop dat great, consistent sound! I wonder how he got his street life as well as bein’ real great on tha mic? Tha rating iz tied wit tha remix but by now, I like tha remix better. My Rating: 4.4

>>> Sounds like an intense beat start! “G-Pipe” doin’ this beat so this should be pretty nice! I’m likin’ dis quality fa some reason; definitely feelin’ how you comin’ on tha track! You’re about nothin’ but dat consistent shit! Real crazy shit you’re spittin’ on here; definite plus!! Tha hook’s cool; nothin’ but a resistant-Duce, lol! My Rating: 4.4

I think you meant “Keith” and not “Kieth” on tha back cover. >>> For a G-Pipe beat, this iz pretty jammin’, once again. Feelin’ your consistent rappin’, as you’re doin’ a nice job here. Keith sounds good on tha hook, too; this iz a pretty-good result. My Rating: 4.0


17. “Until I’m Gone”
You ain’t goin’ anywhere, Duce! >>> Anotha Mod beat; let’s hear it! This definitely iz somethin’ fa tha streetz; good shit! Glad you “gon keep it real to tha bone,” ya dig? You have a bad-ass attitude here; really feelin’ what you got goin’ on!! My Rating: 4.3


18. “On Dis Block”
I like “dis” title. >>> I like tha intro, too. You have a good attitude on “dis” shit, too; keep it goin’! I really like tha perspectives you have when it comes ta makin’ hot music; real nice content here!! “Leave ya stankin’ like bullshit;” I think regular “shit” smells more, lol. Tha hook’s definitely a good representation fa tha streetz here; you know what it iz!! My Rating: 4.3


19. “Tatted In Da Game”
How we gon end dis? >>> A Mod beat once again, soundin’ anticipatin’! This iz a catchy song; I feel tha content you’re spittin’ in tha hook. Tha beat’s soundin’ betta and you’re keepin’ tha rhymes goin’! Nice, consistent shit, once again! My Rating: 4.1


Overall: Definitely a nice mixtape right here!! Real glad you have experience wit Beat Flippa, since I first heard you on his “Street Certified” CD!
