Time fa my 701st review!! It’s my big dawg Shell (Young Thugga) “Thugga Muzik Vol. 1”!! Shell iz known for commenting on both tha reviewz I did for 3Deep’s “First 6 Months (The Mixtape)” back in March 2008 and Lil’ Phat’s “Life Of A Yungsta Vol. 1” back in October 2008. Hopefully, he’ll respond ta this, too! Start Time: 11:06 AM | End Time: 12:12 PM


Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it. Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

Dis gon be tha shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!! >>> Sounds like a nice, smooth start ta what gon be a HOT mixtape!! Good shit here; feelin’ tha hook and how you hold it down by yourself, ya dig? My Rating: 4.3


02. “2 Much”
Hot shit! >>> Sounds catchy in tha beginning wit tha hook and tha samplin’ throughout it. Good sound in tha beat, too. Let’s hear what you got ta offer in tha 1st verse… Still keepin’ it G wit tha content here; dumb shit! Very catchy wit how you sound on tha mic here and just luvin’ tha shit you spittin’, ya feel me? Good job keepin’ tha whole song HOT! My Rating: 4.4


03. “My Hood”
Short titles but doin’ tha damn thang still, lol! >>> Mo consistent shit fa my ears, ya dig? A “New Orleans” sound here? Kinda sounds like it but I always have tha perspective of a 225 native for you, ya dig? You spittin’ some tight hood shit right chea; very catchy hook, too. I like tha “grab a parachute ‘cause it’s goin’ down” part in tha beginning of tha 2nd verse; you know what it iz! My Rating: 4.3


04. “Hatin’ On Me”
Keepin’ it goin’!! >>> Kinda sounds like Auto-Tune in tha beginning but it’s nothin’ bad, luckily. Tha hook iz somewhat catchy and you soundin’ pretty good wit your rhymes in tha 1st verse, doin’ you. Hopefully, dis tha only joint wit A-Tune in it. Keepin’ it goin’ wit tha 2nd verse; “no more dappin’ and huggin’”? I barely got ta experience any of it in tha world. Still lookin’ forward to havin’ some daps and hugs frequently. I just don’t know when it gon be… My Rating: 4.0


05. “Never Change”
Just blended right into it; lemme hear. >>> Just like what I feel about myself: “I’ll neva change”; you know what it iz! Hopefully, if you “neva change,” then, you’ll get ta comment on this review, you know? Good shit… My Rating: 4.2


06. “Money In My Hand”
Let’s hear dis! >>> Sounds pretty tight wit tha production! Where did DJ Ya Boy Earl come from in tha background, lol? Tha 1st verse iz nice as you just keep it consistent to tha bone! Tha 2nd verse sounds good, too. Gotta luv a consistent CD! My Rating: 4.3


07. “Paper Chaser” Feat. Magnolia Chop
A collaboration? Let’s hear it! >>> Tha beginning sounds VERY anticipatin’ wit tha smokin’ intro! You’re on tha hook? Sounds pretty tight here wit tha beat, too! Nice job wit tha 1st verse; all about keepin’ it street to tha fullest!! Anyone should easily luv this kinda shit, ya dig? Tha 2nd verse sounded pretty good, too. Where’s Magnolia Chop at? Iz he gonna be at tha end or somethin’? Oh, I hear him comin’ in for tha 3rd verse… LOL, rappin’? How random fa him, lol. It actually sounds pretty good than some of tha singin’ I hear on some of his collabs. My Rating: 4.5


08. “Dumber” Feat. Lil’ Phat & Mouse
LOL, 3Deep 2010!! Let’s DEFINITELY hear it!! >>> This sounds pretty hot wit Phat in tha beginning! Nice production, too; very consistent once again!! Mouse’s on tha 2nd verse, doin’ his thang (as always), too! You’re on tha 3rd verse, givin’ dat anticipatin’, HOT 3Deep sound dat I’ve always luved since three years ago! You still got dat stamina, Shell; dat’s what’s up!! My Rating: 4.5


09. “U Already Know”
Most definitely! >>> Q-Red on tha beat here; DEFINITE plus!! Called “Gutta” on tha DatPiff tracklisting; don’t know why. Tha hook’s catchy as fuck; you got dis on lock, Shell!! You got some hot shit here wit tha rhymes; keep ‘em comin’!! My Rating: 4.4


½time: You DEFINITELY needed ta drop a WHOLE CD/mixtape by yourself for a while now!!! REAL GLAD you did it ‘cause you have a 4.3 for tha CD rating, at tha moment!! Let’s keep tha REAL HOT rhymes and production comin’ from you, bruh!!


10. “Cartoon” Feat. Mouse & Lil’ Boosie
LOL, Boosie here; let’s see what we got fa tha collab! >>> I knew I recognized this. Heard this before on a compilation; VERY GR8 joint here!! Sounds anticipatin’ wit you in tha beginning! Catchy-ass song wit this title, too!! Well, you’re on tha 1st verse, doin’ a nice job! ROFL @ all these “cartoons”! Mouse’s on tha 2nd verse here, ROFL! Good shit here! Time fa Boosie on tha 3rd verse… Mo good shit that’s followin’ tha content and tha title’s topic! I REALLY luv how this blends wit pillz, lol!! My Current Rating: 4.8

>>> Gonna hold on and see what gon happen wit dis… Okay, sounds pretty nice wit tha hook (on a Bounce tip)! Mouse’s on tha hook, too; should source him in tha ID. Sounds jammin’, thanx to dat beat! LOL @ her like “Bugs Bunny ears”! A song wit three verses from you; good shit. I’m likin’ tha catchiness in tha 3rd verse wit how you soundin’! My Rating: 4.1


12. Shell Speaks
A lil’ intermission from you! Hope it’s at least a minute ‘cause you know I fucks wit you, Shell! >>> Only 34 seconds but it’s cool. LOL, a lotta people locked up? Free Yung Yola, K.O., D.$.G., Uncle T, Crowley Redd, and Ratchet D, ya dig? ‘Preciate tha check-in! My Rating: N/A


13. “Letter To My Dawg”
Izn’t this Bad Azz’s song? >>> A slower beat than theirs; how will this last? I’m kinda feelin’ how you comin’ through on this beat; definite plus on tha hook! Good thing for my boyz in jail; I actually have feelin’s for ‘em so I can see how you feel. Unlike people in person, I care for those in jail, ya dig? Nice job on tha 1st verse, ya feel me? Tha 2nd hook sounds like a hot beat sound was added. What was up wit dat part before tha 2nd verse? Didn’t have ta make it sound gay when it was ‘pose ta be a lil’ emotional… My Rating: 3.7


14. “Certified Hood Nigga” Feat. Vamp
Interestin’ ta see a newbie on tha feature (although I think I know who Vamp iz ‘cause he added me on MySpace a long time ago?)! Lookin’ forward ta hearin’! >>> LOL, Vybe beat that was chosen; interestin’ hook, too. Keepin’ it consistent here on tha 1st verse! Good job doin’ tha damn thang, Shell! This iz tha kinda attitude I like! Tha 2nd verse sounds pretty good, too. Here comes Vamp on tha 3rd verse, soundin’ cool, too. How did y’all link up? Good shit, Vamp! My Rating: 4.3


15. “Get Bizzy” Feat. Roc
Kinda hard ta read tha features sometimes on tha back. But, I think I see “Roc”; let’s get it! >>> Oh, anotha Vybe beat; only this time, I heard someone rap on dis one before, lol. Sounds pretty good for tha beginning… Tha hook sounds pretty catchy wit how y’all come through on it; good shit. Tha 2nd verse was pretty good, too; Shell doin’ tha damn thang! For some reason, I thought Roc was gonna sound like a young person. But, he sounds ‘round your age/from tha streets; not too bad of a verse… My Rating: 4.1


16. “My Life”
What do we got here? >>> When tha title came in, it sounded like it’s gonna be a pretty good song. This iz a pretty good song; you got tha real shit comin’ out here, which iz a plus. Tha verses sounded kinda long but not too bad, overall. My Rating: 3.9


17. “Crazy Man (Losing My Mind)”
A double title? What do we got here? >>> Sounds like more catchy music in tha beginning; thumbs up! At :16, “take a puff of tha pine;” dumb shit! Ooh, you’re changin’ your flow here wit some fast rappin’ and a lil’ bit of a beat change, too! Tha hook’s definitely catchy as fuck; good job makin’ dis, my boy!! Nice job on tha 2nd verse, too; GR8 song!! My Rating: 4.4


18. “I’ma Beast”
Tha ending song; how GR8 will it be? BTW, who’s number, (504) 273…, iz dat on tha back cover? I locked it in my phone but I get kinda funny hittin’ it up without knowin’ who it iz, even though I have this review behind me. >>> DJ B-Real on tha beat, which sounds good! Tha hook’s DEFINITELY nice; you know what it iz! You’re ALWAYS available fa tha catchy shit, dawg! LOL @ tha “hoooooooes” / “shoooooows” ad-libs! How fuckin’ catchy!!! Tha 2nd verse sounds pretty tight, too; got dis shit on lock all tha way through!! My Rating: 4.5


Overall: DEFINITELY HOTNESS right here!!! REAL GLAD you were able ta put a whole CD out by yourself! Keep doin’ tha damn thang and I hope you like dis shit; you NEVA stop puttin’ out dat quality!!
